In low season, our restaurant is closed at lunchtime and on Sunday evenings (from October to April).

We came for the rural envirement, the swimming pool and the good food. The first was true, the swimming pool had no pumps nor filters and was a danger to swim in with too much chemicals. We had an itching skin direct after swimming although we took a shower.
The food was mainly raw and very disappointing. The choice poor since we got an English menu. The othe guests got a choice from the board although the personel knew we speak French as well and they could have explained anyway. Very unwelcomming approach.
The room was small and one side of the bed missed a table, there were no reading lights. The shower had a construction to give less water. Obviously to save water and the story was the environment but everybody knows by know to take short showers but this took ages to get wet. Ridiculous and again bad hospitality.
Besides the above the hotel is very badly situated and not worthwile making a detour through Avignon comming from Nice and certainly not suitable for a holiday.
The hotel was surprisingly comfortable and clean. Several of our previous Logis experiences had prepared us for the worse, but La Ferme proved to be a well run and very decent little hotel with mostly friendly, helpful staff. The room and bathrooms had no major problems, but seemed about €20 too much for the quality on offer. However, this was somewhat offset by the fact of an immaculately clean, large swimming pool - a pleasant bonus. Supper was served al fresco, in a pretty, leafy setting. Our food was all good , without being exceptional, and service was slightly haphazard. We looked in on breakfast, but thought that it did not look good value for nearly €30.00 for the two of us, and opted for a local boulangerie instead at a third of the price. Overall, we liked La Ferme, and would stay again, and have recommended it to several friends who often pass by Avignon.
Great food great service
Old and aging building and equipment, this hotel does not deserve a 3 star rating. If the bedding is comfortable and clean, the maintenance and equipment of the room are very disappointing (outdated kettle, no mini fridge, from our window, view and immediate proximity to the high voltage line, desk lamp powered by flying power strips, bathroom mirror not lit, shower closed by a very aging curtain, window corners with cobwebs, ... etc...
