Very quiet location on the island of Barthelasse, very good breakfast, nice restaurant. The free car park with shuttle bus to Avignon can be reached in a few minutes. We felt very comfortable.

Very nice hotel, pleasant surroundings, friendly welcome. Excellent meal. Small flat compared to the soundproofing of the room that we occupied (noise of water flow probably coming from the showers of the rooms located above and music coming from the breakfast room located just below).

Lets start with the best bit - the pool! Having been travelling thorugh the heatwave that was Europe's summer, stopping for a couple of days at a place with a pool was wonderful.

The breakfast was very good too. Great choices and plentiful- though did have some challenges getting the boiled egg scooked as the temperature and therefore cooking time seemed to change. The dinner and lunch we had was great too - just be aware of the days they do and don't do this as you are quite a way out of town and we had to scamble to get to a supermarket to get some lunch before a tour at the last minute.

The room - was small, poky and while the floor area may have been adequate, that it was up in the attic space in most of the room we could not stand up straight. There is no lift and as 2 older patrons, lugging 2 large suitcases up 2 floors was not easy. The "King" bed is 2 singles shoved together with a sheet over not even an attempt at a topper to make the join any more comfortable. Being so hot, we had to keep the blind over the skylight closed making it very dark. The air con was not very effective and the temperature restricted. We came back one day from town to find it got turned off during the day meant the place was stiffling. That said, ensure if you know when you plan to be back (good for days where you have specific plans) you let Nathalie know before going out and she can ensure on before you get back.
Odd set up with the lights and connection to power. There was no main light, just a table light on the desk and small bedside lights and for the power to work, need to have the lights on (the light switch seemed to also be the socket switch) - so plugged phone in to charge over night so can use the next day and woke up to them with no charge.
They seem to also water down the shower gel. Undetstand these may be seen to be resource saving measures but they really are a false economy as not being able to have the ac below 24 means it is left on all day so the room is cool(ish) on return (rather than being able to give it a quick blast to bring it down), the lights get left on during the day to charge power packs so we can charge phones over night, use lots more gel as lose 1/2 of it from the dispenser to the body.
Overall we found the service and hospitality to be lovely if the place was a little tatty and tired

A verry nice place to stay

This is not a five star hotel in the centre of Avignon but it is an excellent choice for those wanting to visit the area (including Avignon and it’s surrounds). The hotel is easy to find, the welcome is incredibly friendly, the rooms are good, clean, up to date with good bathrooms. The restaurant served up an excellent dinner with a really good selection which we would have found difficult to match in town.
Most importantly, the welcome and advice we received we better than pretty much anywhere we have had around the world. Highly recommended for sure.

A lovely Provencal character hotel on the outskirts of Avignon with a good restaurant.

We stayed only one night in Avignon returning from a trip, the hotel has a welcoming and very characteristic structure, well-kept and clean. Pet friendly and very fast in check in and out. The only drawback, but not a flaw, just a feature, the kitchen closes at 9 pm .. so we weren't able to order à la carte, however the very kind staff had already informed us of the matter by telephone and email, however arranging the possibility of having a table and serve us cold cuts and cheeses as well as the excellent à la carte wine. Absolutely recommended stay.

It was a very nice hotel, well decorated and taken care of by the owners. We could see the passion, which the owner has put in to the update into this old farmhouse.

Beautiful location, lovely pool, several little spaces to sit and chill (by the pool, nearby the entrance under trees). What impressed my the most was the food! The dinner was fantastic (go and eat there even if you don't stay the night) and the breakfast was too! All staff was very lovely, super welcoming and funny - especially Marc :)

What a beautiful place to stay such wonderful surroundings

We stayed at this hotel on our way to the Cote d’Azure 4 weeks ago and were so impressed with it we booked to stay there on our return up north. It is a very good hotel with very friendly welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and extremely good food. I would hope to stay there again and explore the area around Avignon.

The stay was very pleasant. Very friendly reception. Very good food in the adjoining restaurant with very attentive service. Also the breakfast was good. The room (number 2) was very small - still ok. Everything was fine in the bathroom, but we think the shower (especially the sliding doors) and the grouting in the shower urgently need improvement. We recommend this accommodation for its very quiet location and good restaurant.

A very warm welcome was given. The proprietor was serving dinner and going check in. She was extremely busy but worked hard to please everyone, including us

Très bon accueil avec toutes les explications pour passer un très bon séjour. Que ce soit du tourisme à faire ou du repas, nous avons eu des explications très claires. Le repas du soir était excellent et le petit déjeuner bien fourni au niveau buffet. Personnel agréable et souriant ! Parfait.

chambres minuscules ( alors que nous ne sommes pas à Paris!!); impossible d'ouvrir la valise et de marcher dans la chambre
salle de bain étroite ( séchoir à cheveux peu puissant)
pas de prises électriques en nombre suffisant dans la chambre pour recharger téléphones et ordinateurs!!!il faut choisir entre avoir de l'éclairage et recharger son téléphone!!!!
décoration vieillotte et lugubre : on ne voit rien en dinant
éclairage des salles de restauration insuffisant et lugubre à l'époque des leds!!!!!
Le seul point positif est la très grande gentillesse du personnel et la très bonne qualité du restaurant.
je ne recommanderai pas cet hotel.

Manque un minibar dans la chambre et des prises électriques

L'Hotel non è male e ho soprattutto apprezzato la piscina senza orari di chiusura e che la struttura ammetta cani. Devo però segnalare che il rapporto qualità/prezzo del ristorante non è un granché. Prezzo caro per un menù nella media senza infamia e senza lodi. Il mio "assiette di trois fromage" era una scelta di formaggi da supermercato. Inoltre un sorriso in più non guasterebbe.

Nous avons eu plaisir à retrouver cet hôtel où nous avons pris l'habitude de faire étape sur notre route. Havre de paix sur l'île, le gîte et le couvert sont de qualité.
Les mesures sanitaires en place sont rassurantes y compris celles pour le personnel qui intervient en chambre, l'information avant séjour dénote d'un souci de communication utile et appréciable.

We had a very comfortable, relaxing one night stay at La ferme. It has an informal, rustic feel but the bedroom was very well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable. The dinner was very good and sensibly priced. The whole operation was run very efficiently by the patronne who was most welcoming. It is in a great position, rural yet close to Avignon. We would be very happy to stay there again and to recommend it to anyone.
