TRULY AN INCREDIBLE HOTEL

Duplex room for 4 people, ideal since I was alone. But probably insufficient space for a family trip. Very good meal with sea view. Friendly staff. ETIK points not credited despite their promise.
Booked online and the room didn't have a shower. But no matter, they made it happen and changed the room without any problems. Thank you very much!

Disappointed to be allocated a room across a busy road from the main hotel. Rooms rather basic, air-con not effective in room 8, unpleasant smell from drains.

Disappointing, impersonal. This is a one-night stopover hotel, not a vacation hotel. It's a factory. The space in the room is way too small for 4 people. The space between the bed and the stairs, to get from one side of the room to the other, is 40 cm maximum. We paid extra for a 1m2 balcony. The parking lot has too little space compared to the number of rooms, so first come, first served!!
We had a great stay. The hotel is very quiet and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is delicious. It's perfect.

Arrived late but at the restaurant 100 m away. Given keys and code for hotel and parking, so no major problem. Room very nice, clean and comfortable. Only minor issue is no glasses, only plastic and no bottled water.

Excellent location to explore Normandy. Hotel extremely well presented, rooms extremely and restaurant quality was exceptional. Beuatiful beach front location with plenty of parking.
Good hotel that has everything going for it, except for the noise from other rooms, especially in the middle of the night. Too bad. Luckily, the restaurant is excellent.

Accommodation in a residence: The room was spacious, very well equipped. A balcony overlooking the garden and quality materials. 3 * ++. Catering: Impeccable service, however, the qualification "tasty restaurant" is perhaps a little overrated and in our opinion "gourmet" would be more appropriate. The menus offered are those of a good brasserie. Establishment reserved more for gourmands than gourmets. For breakfast, no hot culinary preparations (scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.) too bad. In the end, a good experience that we could repeat with full knowledge of the facts.

Successful stay thanks to very comfortable and pleasant accommodation. The staff is dedicated and very pleasant. We also enjoyed the sauna. We highly recommend it. We came 20 years ago. We see that the spirit of the Crémaillère is still there. We will come back next time!

The noise of the kitchen blower is extremely annoying in the bedroom, even with a window opening onto the sea.

Hello Room on the ground floor, garden side, a little narrow for working in the evening: small table and 2 small poufs not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything else is perfect as usual!

It's not quite a hotel, but rooms scattered around. When you've experienced the charm and welcome in lodgings in France, you're a little disappointed not to find yourself in a hotel but in a room without a soul... or anyone around! The restaurant had influenced our choice. The quality and quantity are there but we would have liked a little more imagination. More of a restaurant for gourmands than for gourmets.
Great hotel. I go there every time I'm traveling to CAEN. I don't use the wifi so I can't answer. The lower rating, for the choice and diversity of products, because when you stay very regularly at the Crémaillère, you quickly go through the menu which is nevertheless superb. I recommend 100%.

We were given a free upgrade from garden room to cabin2. Amazing accommodation which we will try to book when it is on their website.
The one thing we missed at breakfast was bread. The there were roll and different brown and green breads but no baguettes, which we prefer for breakfast.

The main restaurant building and the room in Le Cottage were +/- 10min walk from each other. We were lucky that the weather was dry but I would not have liked it to rain. We arrived on a Sunday and there was no parking space available in front of the hotel so we had to leave our car in an adjacent parking lot. There was a parking space at Le Cottage. The food was tasty, only the succession of the aperitif, the starter, main course and dessert was too fast, little break between the courses.

Very well located on the seafront, very pleasant main establishment, beautiful decor. The secondary establishment, located about fifty meters away, requires a trip to eat, sometimes in the rain!! Quality catering in a cozy room and served by very pleasant dynamic staff.

What a disappointment! This hotel, for the reservation that concerns us, that is to say "garden side" does not deserve the ELEGANCE classification at all. The rooms are very old, both in terms of floor coverings and walls and ceilings, furniture and heating. It is impossible to air the attic because there are no windows, a shame because there is no air conditioning... No fan was offered at reception, although the staff must know the unbearable heat of this type of duplex accommodation, upstairs (1st floor small French window opening onto a mini balcony and on the 2nd floor attic without opening). According to the photo of the reservation, we do not expect to be located on the 1st and 2nd floors but on the garden level: bad surprise on arrival. We do not recommend it at all, we did not sleep, poor value for money. Only the restaurant saves the overall rating of this establishment in our opinion.

The restaurant offers simple but delicious cuisine, the waiters are pleasant and the service is fast. The step-by-step menu leaves a large choice. A very nice experience.

Superb stay, the room is spacious! Downside: there is no do not disturb card, so the cleaning ladies woke us up for cleaning. And they are super loud. In addition, we could hear the other customers, impossible to rest.
