Great value for money. The staff were were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and very clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to break up our journey. Great central location too.

I've been staying at this hotel for several years now, primarily for business trips. The staff is always very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are comfortable. The only slight drawback: no power outlets near the beds. Kudos to the team for the quality of service.

A wonderful welcome, and plenty of availability to answer our questions. Help was provided in finding restaurants within the city. The rooms are a bit dated, with a lack of power outlets next to the bed, for example, but this is largely offset by the quality of the hotel's service and welcome.

Great location!, excellent staff, added advantage if you are on two wheels as there is free parking for motorbikes. Note that there was no air-conditioning in the room I was in but the ceiling fan was adequate in August. It is not a modern building so there can be sounds for the neighbouring rooms.

Bicycles could be placed safely. It was very quiet despite being central in the city. No air condition but a van which helped during these hot days.

The breakfast buffet is a little light on choice for my taste. I would have liked more diversity and quantity in the displays (putting a small quantity suggests the consumer to help themselves but when there are 7/8 of us arriving at the same time we limit ourselves so that there is enough for everyone). The fact of leaving the key at the reception is particular I would have preferred to keep my key and know that I was independent, I was afraid that there would be no one at the reception (even knowing the opposite). The experience otherwise was satisfactory. The hotel has charm and the welcome was very good. Small downside on the fact of having carpet in the room.

I'm sorry for the late reply, as I was busy with chores after coming back to Japan. This is my second time staying at Hotel des Chateaux de la Loire in 8 years. This hotel is a family-run hotel with a homey feel. It's the best hotel, close to the station, restaurants, and the Tours University (which was my destination). The price is also attractive for travelers from Japan. I'd like to stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. We appreciate first of all the location and the good value for money. for a short stay. Very good reception. We had been informed by the hotel the day before our arrival of the cycle race which could cause traffic difficulties. A luggage storage service is offered. However, the hotel had made arrangements to prepare the room for us and ensure access to it from the end of the morning, knowing that we would arrive well before 4 p.m. Very clean. Good bedding. Very good breakfast, very complete and well presented.

A large group of runners had booked in for the Tours marathon. They made a lot of noise from 5:30 in the morning. The rooms are not sound proofed and so you can hear doors banging, footsteps on the creaking staircase, and people using the toilet. If we’d have been advised of this at the time of booking we’d have stayed elsewhere. We’ve stayed 3 or 4 times in the past but not again.

El hotel está muy bien situado para hacer turismo, en el mismo centro de la ciudad, cerca de todo lo indispensable para visitar.
El trato del personal fue correcto y con atención 24h/24h aunque me hubiera gustado que cuando llegamos a las 23h y pregunté donde aparcar, me hubieran informado de que se podía aparcar gratis en una placita que hay al lado hasta las 9h del día siguiente, en vez de decirnos el parking 24h/24h de pago que hay casi a la misma distancia y que no es nada barato.
La cama cómoda y renía una pequeña nevera que nos vino muy bien para tener agua fresca.
Creo que tuvimos mala suete con la habitación que nos tocó, o al menos en Booking vimos fotos de habitaciones con mejor pinta. La nuestra tenía cortinilla en la ducha en vez de mampara y era bastante pequeña, la cama era de matrimonio (como pedimos) y uno de los lados estaba a tan solo un palmo de la pared, por lo que no podía entrar por el lateral para acostame.
El ventilador del techo hacía muchísimo ruido y no pudimos ponerle, sin embargo abrimos las 2 ventanas y pudimos dormir bien y sin ruidos.
La primera noche no nos limpiaron la habitación ni nos hicieron la cama.
Resumiendo, el hotel no está mal por su situación y las habitaciones son amplias y la cama cómoda (aunque nosotros tuvimos mala suerte con la nuestra) pero creo que se deben de mejorar algunos detalles para llegar a una puntuación de 8,1 que ponía en Booking cuando la reservé.
La realación calidad/precio considero que está bien (aunque yo me llevé un pequeño chasco con nuestra habitación ya que me esperaba algo.mejor por la puntuación del 8,1/10 de Boosking y por las fotos que había visto) ya que el estar en pleno centro los precios de los hoteles son bastante elevados y este no está mal.
