Fantastic place! Stunning view of Lake Chambon, simply breathtaking. Warm welcome, just three days before closing for holidays. Gargantuan breakfast with delicious, locally sourced products. A couple of minor issues: the restaurant had been closed for a week, which wasn't mentioned on the website, and a network outage prevented the Wi-Fi from working. Otherwise, nothing to complain about except thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location with a fine kitchen

Excellent establishment! Pleasant room and generous, high-quality dinner. The only point that could be improved: allowing access to the breakfast room from 6:00 a.m., not 7:15 a.m.

Excellent welcome. Table reserved by the hotel (they called us to see if we were reserving a table, priority for hotel guests) for the evening of our arrival because the surrounding restaurants were mostly closed. Hotel a bit dated, carpet in the stairs and in the rooms should be refreshed. Clean room. Bathroom in its original state, could do with a facelift. Creaky floorboards and poor soundproofing, you can hear the neighbors talking, snoring, and walking... (especially when some people are not very concerned about others...). Very beautiful view of the lake.

Perfect establishment and top-notch catering!

Very pleasant stay, good location, stayed two nights and ate at the hotel restaurant. Excellent food despite a hiccup on the second day, due to problems in the kitchen. The meat was not cooked correctly (the second day), asked for a blue steak and received a well-cooked steak. My wife's duck breast was not pink but well-cooked. Other than that it was excellent. Another small downside, tables with children are put before the others.

This logis is in a great location with wonderful views across Lac Chambon and to the mountains around. The room was perfect for a short stay. Although the decor was a little tired, it was very comfortable and clean and good value for money. Friendly and welcoming staff too. The restaurant downstairs was excellent - despite it being very busy, the service was great and everything about the food was brilliant. Good value for money and thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is old and poorly insulated, but it's very clean and well-equipped. The food is of high quality, but the service is rather disorganized; we had to wait two hours for a main course and dessert.

No soundproofing in the rooms

The hotel is located at the beach level of Lake Chambon, high up and set back from traffic, which is an asset for the calm, parking is also available in front of and next to the hotel, very convenient. The view is magnificent from the rooms. The establishment offers a beautiful flowered terrace for eating or having a drink. The staff is absolutely charming. Cleanliness is at the rendezvous and the atmosphere friendly. Breakfast is in the form of a buffet, savory and sweet as well as cereals etc, the jams are homemade and are delicious, the coffee machine is very good, the + are the brioche and cake preparations of the chef which are unique. The nice surprise and the strong point of this hotel is also the catering, everything is homemade, well served and varied, fish and meat are in the spotlight as well as local specialties, the truffade is delicious and the award of excellence goes to the pastry chef who trained among others at the Negresco (Palace Nice) and who prepares us desserts to die for. Calling all foodies, this is irresistible and exceptional! A place we've noted in our diary, and one my husband and I will return to without hesitation. In a single sentence, we feel at home here, but better. Bravo to the entire team.

Excellent hotel

New apartment hotel. Beautiful view of the lake. Apartment located directly above the jacuzzi, terrace, and a restaurant room, a bit noisy. The staff is very mixed: exceptional welcome, however, one waitress made inappropriate remarks.

All the staff are lovely and very attentive to their customers. So yes, some of the carpets could be replaced, you can see the passage of time, but the value for money would certainly not be the same. A superb view, good food, dedicated and friendly staff 👍🏻👍🏻. We will definitely come back.

The establishment deserves a little renovation because the decoration is a little old. Very good breakfasts super well presented. Small downside on the service of the restaurant where a waiter was very very very fast. We were still at the aperitif that we already had our dishes on the table. We felt a little "rushed". But we had a great stay, we will come back :-)

Nice room with good bedding and volumes from another era (very compact bathroom). But with the view of Lake/Mountains it's really great. The staff is attentive, from the reception to the departure and especially in the restaurant. Restaurant where we feast on truly local products and specialties. Great experience for me, I would send my friends there.

Aging hotel. Very poorly soundproofed. Faulty shower drain. Very friendly welcome.

The soundproofing is almost non-existent: the walls are very thin (you can hear the neighbors snoring, blowing their noses, etc.), the floor creaks (you can hear the people on the floor above moving around), the sound of water is present as soon as a visitor uses the shower or toilet... Big downside: the drain in our shower was very clogged, the tub filled up very, very quickly. Breakfast was not bad, except for the bread (only baguettes, cheap supermarket quality). Friendly staff. Be careful: not all the rooms have been renovated, and therefore the photos published by the hotel are sometimes misleading.

From arrival to departure, no false notes for the entire team of the establishment. Quality of the catering and breakfast with a multitude of "homemade" products, a luxury today in this standardized universe. Location "view of the lake" is like on the hotel website. A few creaky parquet floors, a door that slams but it is the charm of the old and is only a detail.

Es un hotel setentero. Ubicación excelente, habitación cn vistas al lago. Desayuno y restaurante excelente. Raciones muy abundantes. El desayuno mixto, entre un pequeño bufee, surtido reducido. Inconvenientes las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado y se oye todo. Si tu niño llora los vecinos te pican a la puerta.

Very good evening in this French accommodation on the shores of Lake Chambon. Small but comfortable room (good bedding), excellent half-board dinner at the restaurant on the terrace with a lovely view of the lake, excellent breakfast. Small downside , the room being without air conditioning, we had to sleep with the windows open which normally should not have been a problem... except that people chatted happily under our window until 11:30 p.m.... Our overnight stopover was therefore shortened accordingly... We will come back however because the rest was very pleasant...

Very warm welcome, central location facing the beach. A view from the rooms over the lake, impossible better. Very calm. The rooms are very clean with like new bedding. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a room to come to this Logis.

Room dated but correct, breakfast varied and plentiful, the half-board restaurant is suitable except for a meal with meat that I would describe as tough.

Very nice place, very warm welcome, good food

We had the Tartaret apartment which is very good. Very clean, spacious accommodation with 2 balconies overlooking the lake. The team is really great, Noemie is a source of information on walks to take. We were able to use the jacuzzi after the hikes, which was a big plus. We had half board, we had a great time. In summary, superb stay, don't change anything, it's great!

To be completely honest, our choice fell on the establishment randomly. But the quality of the service, the welcome of the employees and the customer service are really very warm and of high quality. We came by chance, we will definitely come back! I recommend if you are looking for calm and an ideal setting to get together with your family.

Disappointed. Big problem with humidity in the rooms due to a sealing problem with the windows. In addition, no radiator in one of the two bedrooms (the most humid). Result: sick children from the first night. We had to request a space heater for the other two nights. The manager seemed surprised by the problem even though it was clearly visible (very damaged wood of the window + drops of water falling from the skylight and one of the windows) Also noisy. (Parquet floor which creaks a lot, we had the impression of having the neighbors in our room with us!) Very dirty bedroom furniture drawers. The wifi is free but we were not given the code.. No commercial gesture at the end. Disappointed overall

Hotel and rooms very well located facing Lake Chambon, the view is superb. The location is ideal for going on the many hiking trails. The staff is attentive and available. I recommend the restaurant run by a young chef who is passionate about his job and creating excellent desserts, truffade, etc. We had an excellent stay!
