Everything is perfect: welcome, restaurant servers (very professional and attentive, smiling), exceptional cleanliness of the room, very beautiful and original decor, etc. It certainly deserves 4 stars more than some establishments we have visited. We have left a comment to this effect on Google. The breakfast is perfect for €12.

Beautiful and quiet location in the heart of the Ardèche. All employees are very customer friendly, nothing is too much. Beautiful room with bathroom with everything you need. Sufficiently extensive menu for the delicious dinner. Excellent breakfast.

Beautiful establishment with a large terrace for sunny days, nicely decorated rooms and a very good restaurant. Very well located to discover the region. However, at the time of departure, a billing error was made on the meal taken the day before; the person at the reception could not rectify the bill which had been made by another person. Fortunately, someone else (the manager?) arrived and remade the bill, looking down on us, without apologizing (so we could wonder if it was not done on purpose!?). A word of advice, check the bill carefully... Too bad we were left with a negative impression.

We had a great stay. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious. The hotel and the rooms are well decorated and very pleasant. The staff is really very friendly. Lanas is a pretty village. And the possibility of a garage for bikers with all the necessary equipment to leave our things and tools available is a really well thought out bonus!

The village of Lanas is between two very well known and touristed villages of the Ardeche but unlike those two villages Lanas is not overly touristed or commercialized. The Auberge du Lanas is a gem with plenty of available parking accessible to the hotel through a short covered passage way and is fronted by a beautiful pleasant tree shrouded square. Just behind the hotel is a rabbit warren of small covered and uncovered cobbled passage ways that are unchanged since ancient times. The Auberge is staffed by a young upbeat and extremely professional staff and provides clean and comfortable rooms at a very fair price. The wine list is composed of some excellent local choices and the kitchen is unsurpassed in the quality and creativeness of its offerings.

Perfect, we had an excellent stay, everything was perfect: the room, the welcome, the breakfasts and the evening meals. Thank you to the staff.

Since our last visit, 5 years ago, nicely renovated. Excellent reception, despite the fact that the bar and restaurant were closed. Light room and excellent sanitary facilities. Good bed and excellent climate control. Only slept because the restaurant was unfortunately closed on Monday. Lanas is a funny old town on the Ardèche. Few facilities, but there are enough in the area.

I highly recommend this hostel. It's a young, smiling and very responsive team. I came there completely by chance. When I come back, it won't be by chance.

The whole thing was decent, but then the first contact was DEPLORABLE. you want to get your key back so as not to have to go back and forth for more than half an hour, well. no at 5 p.m. not before, even if you explain your request. A first for us, we had decided to do half-board during our vacation (fifteen days at the beginning of August) knowing that this involved a certain budget. Having chosen the Ardèche, we had chosen the Hôtel du Vieux Lanas for its pleasant and peaceful setting, well located in the heart of the south of the department, on the banks of the Ardèche river and close to two of the most beautiful villages in the region. region, Vogüe and Balazuc. We were not disappointed. Parking is easy there. The space shared by several restaurants brings enough entertainment. Our hotel room was perfect and the bedding excellent. We enjoyed the most correct breakfasts and the most varied and refined dinners, even hearty. All the staff are to be congratulated for their attentiveness and the friendly atmosphere they generate. The rates seem to us quite correct given the quality of the services and we can only recommend this establishment. Thanks again to them!

Top level for bathroom design! Downsides: - the WC is not separate, - the shower is not lit and its floor is slippery, - there is no provision for hanging a towel accessible from the shower.
