A beautifully located inn serving delicious food, with comfortable rooms and a lovely pool.
Large, comfortable Balzac room, decorated with great taste. The food is top-notch, whether for dinner (quality products) or breakfast, with an incomparable selection including homemade scrambled eggs and small, very "British" sausages, specially made locally. You can enjoy the fresh air on the upstairs terrace, at the foot of the semi-ruined castle, and stroll through the very flowery mini-village of Crissay, very typical with its tuffeau stone houses. Above all, above all, the incomparable and smiling welcome, with great care. Thank you Séverine and Mark.
Charming little hotel lost in the middle of nowhere, the welcome is very friendly, Séverine is attentive to your needs, very original room. If you want to get away from it all, this is the ideal address
Very pretty and very quiet. Welcoming and friendly.
Our third stay there and always fully satisfied : book without any hesitation ! The rooms are authentic, very clean, with a fan provided when hot and with a beautiful view. The swimming pool is almost private as there are only four rooms and is very quiet as it's at the back, overlooked by the ruins of an old castle.. very romantic !
Séverine, our hostess even offers to bring you a drink by the pool if you wish. She's very cautious about the well-being of her clients.
The food is simply delicious and has improved over the years. Ingredients are locally sourced and even home-made when it comes to breakfast (croissants, cakes, jams are home-made ...). Mark, the chef, and his second experiment lovely recipes and a beautiful presentations. They even take care to prepare specific plates if you are gluten intolerant as I am.
This hotel is like going back home for the holidays : you feel part of the family ! Can't wait to return ...
This was our fourth visit to the Logis Auberge de Crissay and it was a lovely experience as always. Séverine and Marc are very friendly, welcoming and professional. The rooms are comfortable with lovely views and the restaurant is a nice place to relax and enjoy good food. We thoroughly recommend it.
