2nd slightly disappointing stay at this hotel. The room had average quality carpeting. The mattress and pillows were soft. The hotel staff is generally very welcoming, but breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Excellent restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff. The old hotel has charm, but the rooms are a bit worn. However, they are very clean, and the bedding is very comfortable.

I absolutely recommend it

the rooms need to be refreshed. carpet. toilet plus accessories. no dirty bath cups. too expensive......to change sheets which are not sheets.

This hotel offers affordable and (therefore) basic service in a large and beautiful classic building, which, like Vittel itself, mainly exudes faded glory. There are about fifteen parking spaces on the premises. If they are full, you can also park on the street where the hotel is located. The room we had was neat. There was a shower, a toilet, and there were two single beds (as desired). The associated restaurant offers a few simple dishes (such as burgers) that are served very quickly after ordering. Reasonable prices are charged for all this and that is in line with what we had expected. The breakfast with fresh croissants and a wide choice of delicacies is good and not expensive.

Last month we were satisfied with this hotel and we didn't think about going back a second time. The welcome, the comfort of the room, the dinner, everything was perfect.

Correct, despite some damage (bathroom coat rack unhooked and shower door half unhooked, fixings by simple screws in door and hollow partition), bathroom a little small. The pluses: cleanliness and separate toilet, elevator.

We stayed in this hotel two times. It is an old typical French building with an open elevator. We rate this as charming. The rooms are small but clean and convenient enough for one or two nights. For us it is value for money. The restaurant has a small menucard and also here you can say value for money. We hope to return next year.

Excellent room and service

Beautiful hotel (style, moldings, etc.) but triple room too small (the single bed is too close to the double bed), the bathroom and toilet are too cramped and not modern enough. Poorly insulated room. Top location, very close to the park entrance. Didn't try the breakfast. The welcome is very courteous, I appreciated the simple gesture of the employee who, when asking for a 2nd card, offered me a small bottle of water.

Too bad to announce on the Egencia website the presence of an electric kettle... Which apparently only exists on the website, but not in the room.

Old and small room, not great bedding. Small bathroom and no hot water for 2 nights. The TV remote control does not allow you to change the sound. All this in comparison with the price.

Very nice hotel I was there for the second time in the evening stopover the dining room is so well decorated the warm atmosphere does us good! The entire staff is very attentive whether at the reception or at the restaurant service! Room well heated on my arrival! I will return as soon as possible!

Very friendly staff

Well located, perfect for our family and its different ages. But lack of heating in the rooms: a little chilly, the electric heating did not allow a temperate and cozy temperature. And a group in the evening complicated the organization of the hoteliers and therefore reduced menu at the Plan B restaurant. Lack of places at the lounge bar too. But otherwise the team was very friendly and attentive.

The room is spacious and bright, the bathroom a little small but ok, the breakfast buffet offers a wide choice of sweet and savory. Small downside the parking is a little small for the size of the hotel.

The apartment was nicely furnished at first glance. However, the bed and the sofa bed were very uncomfortable. The chairs are not very stable as one of them broke during our stay.

Kamer is voldoende voor de prijs. Maar de douchehaak was gebroken, waardoor je met 1hand de douche vast moest houden.
Verder was de badkamer erg klein. Er is een gescheiden toilet. wat fijn is. Vloerbedekking en dat is minder hygiënisch.
Bij aankomst om 20.00 prima kunnen eten.

I'm a regular at this hotel during the week with attractive prices....I booked it for Saturday night.... Price much more expensive...cleaning absolutely not great,,,dirty mirror, toilet with horrible limescale...what a shame.. I'll go back to hope that it was just an oversight by the staff

Expensive for an old, very poorly equipped, very poorly laid out room. Cleaning needs to be done. Torn wallpaper. Disgusting carpet. No soap in the shower.

Lack of air conditioning in the rooms, especially those facing south

I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel, very warm without being overloaded or stuffy. I did not test the wifi. Very nice breakfast buffet. Too bad the bellboy service was not functional. I very rarely go to the hotel and I admit that I would have liked to give myself this little pleasure of using the bellboy service.

We didn’t enjoy that hotel has absolutely zero welcoming for foreign guests. I mean of course I’m in your country, but I would never expect any French person talking our native language when you travel to our country. I mean “thank you”, “good morning” are not so hard words to learn. I learned them in French like in 2 minutes. Would be nice that there was at least one tv channel that is not in French.
In addition, there was zero info that restaurant is closed and wc kept breaking down and wifi was non- existant

Lady at the reception is an amazing person

Nice hotel in the center of Vittel, location is nice, and so is the exterior. There is hardly any parking available (in contradiction to what Booking.com noted, that there would be private parking). I booked partly because of this, my car was full of vacation stuff, and I had to park down the street. I moved the car in the evening and put it right before the hotel when I spot opened up, but the info on Booking.com was not correct regarding this. The room was ok, very hot, and no Airco. There should be a roller shutter, but this did not work. The bathroom and toilet are adequate but very small for an adult, the bathroom was clean, but there are black spots everywhere (I know this is because of age probably, but it just does not look very nice). The WiFi is free, but does not work very consistently unfortunately. Reception and breakfast are great!!!

Dirty room, bad smell, tiny and very very spartan bathroom.

We stayed in this hotel last year and liked it. Since then, the owner has changed. We used the hotel for a stopover on our trip. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. For 2 stars I think this is to be expected, but last year we got two connected (and bigger) rooms for our family which was a lot better. The breakfast was very disappointing. It is supposed to be until 10 (which on a Saturday is already early), when we arrived at 9:45 there was almost nothing left and nothing got refilled. Staff was quite unfriendly and just told us that breakfast is over. When we asked for spoons (because there were none left) we got one for our family of five. While we were eating everything was taken away, we felt very unwelcome. We did not get charged for the children's breakfast, but €13 per person is still too much when there's nothing left to eat.

Dirty room Very poorly received, the reception date should change jobs Made me pay double the Booking rate because she told me that Booking applied the rates they wanted.. No parking otherwise you have to pay €8 to have a space... Catastrophic I do not recommend even for one night!

Rooms presented as made at reception, false! Dirty sheets, dirty towels on the bathroom floor. Laundry carts full of dirty laundry in the hallway. Room door wide open and in disarray. Receptionist having trouble reaching her boss. No instructions. Only solution offered: refund us and go sleep elsewhere, because I can't rent you a room.

We arrived, checked in, went to the room and the room was dirty and undone. I had to report this back to the receptionist. Receptionist told us that he needs to call a cleaning person. Which should take 30-60 min. How can you give an undone room during check in to people? Horrible experience.

I regularly come back to the PROVIDENCE hotel in VITTEL. The team is really very friendly and professional. impeccable cleanliness, ideal location. I'm there all year round and the only downside is that we can't get a preferential rate thanks to our loyalty. in winter when activity is less it would be nice to offer promotional prices.

I think the carpet hadn't been vacuumed [nail pieces].

Welcoming hotel with lots of charm, the room with its large bay window is very pleasant, spacious and clean. The waffle sheets are cozy and the bedding is very good. The WC is separated by a door in the bathroom. Which is very practical. We hope to come back!

Mooie kamers, kleine badkamer en apart toilet kunnen aanpassing gebruiken maar zijn proper, douche met douchegordijn. Grote tv met Chromecast, ventilator in de kast. goed bed en goede kussens. Kleine parking achteraan tegen betaling met 2 laadplaatsen voor electr auto's. Verhuur van goede e-bikes. Lekker ontbijt, goed restaurant, goede vriendelijke bediening. Missing an elevator

bij aankomst ontvangen door receptioniste, was een zeer aardig persoon, deze heef ons de sleutel overhandigd voor de kamer.
Bij aankomst in kamer, schrokken we van de mufheid van de kamer, zeer vieze vloerbedekking, een toilet die niet groter was dan een caravan hokje, en dit geldt ook voor de douche.
alles kwam niet overeen met de foto's op booking.com, en dit is zeer misleidend, dit hotel is vergane glorie, dit zie je al bij aankomst aan het bord was buiten staat bij hotel, dit was niet meer te lezen door de algen groei, en dit kun je makkelijk schoonmaken.
Wij hebben na deze teleurstellende aankomst dan ook gelijk rechtsomkeert gemaakt en het hotel verlaten, helaas hebben we de kosten hiervan aan de broek hangen, maar dit is nog altijd beter dan verblijven in zo een oud stofnest.

Truly heartfelt kindness!

We ended up stranded on our way to South France due to car trouble (a flat tire), but thankfully stumbled upon this lovely hotel, with its excellent breakfast and even better quality restaurant. They responded flexibly and empathetically to our situation, and although we ultimately had to cut our vacation short due to illness, we only have very positive memories of this hotel and the town of Vittel! 10 out of 10!

A hotel that certainly deserves a renovation of the rooms. But its old-fashioned charm seduced me: it is soothing. Its location opposite the thermal baths park in a quiet street is an asset. The staff is welcoming, the restaurant excellent (a small menu but freshly cooked dishes with quality products, well done!), a very soft musical atmosphere with a piano background. Another positive point: good bedding, soft and therefore relaxing. A small hotel without flashy artifice, perfect for a relaxing stay.

After 23 minutes of waiting, a person arrived who asked my name without even raising their head for a single second..... no hello.... When I asked if the restaurant could accommodate us, this person replied "yes , for 9:15 p.m. "... Arriving at 9:11 p.m., she told us "sorry we couldn't warn you, but we are no longer taking customers" ...... The next day while discussing with other hotel staff On this subject, we are told "it's not our fault, it's the cook, who is paid 3000 euros, who refused otherwise left the kitchen"... and the person from the day before arrives and claims that she warned me. ... This person is unpleasant and dishonest (not to mention a liar).....

We love this hotel because it is authentic. But, the bathroom and toilet are now really in need of an upgrade.

Clean and neat room, quality bedding and linen. Too bad the cleaning ladies don't know if the rooms are empty. That would avoid being disturbed twice in the morning. The wifi connection is only active in the evening (not in the morning). No hairdryer.

Excellent restaurant, good and nice service at the table. However, the dissapointing was that the breakfast food was not sufficient. In fact, food fell short well before 10 AM on a Sunday morning: no cheese, ham or eggs left at 9h40, and nobody there to ask for it. When staff finally arrived at 9h58 breakfast was "over", staff was not willing to serve some cheese, eggs or ham. Also unpleasant is that the corridors at 1st 2nd and 3rd floor are completely dark. One has to search for a light switch, hard to find for elderly people. Why not use a sensor, or just some permanent (dim) light at every floor to finf your way...? Apart from these two con's, that can easily be fixed, a nice place to stay.

Small art deco hotel in a great location near the thermal baths park. Quality welcome, we were lucky enough to have a truly magnificent suite within the hotel. The bedding is top notch, the decor refined and the breakfast is really very complete and of high quality. We will come back for sure. Go there with your eyes closed.

A quality evening stopover meal with a beautiful presentation. Pleasant setting and welcoming service. However surprised, reservation made on the site, before my arrival the payment had already been debited. No possibility of recording my passage with my accommodation card or deducting my reduction coupon, the software was not functional....

The building is well designed, the staff very friendly, the reception, the welcome, nothing to complain about. Services are offered, relaxing music, parking and outdoor terrace…. Unfortunately, very disappointed with the room!!!! Bathroom too small and equipped with a 1m2 prefabricated shower cubicle. Very little space for 2 people. Although it is the 1st choice of the standard double room, this one needs to be completely revised. Sorry, but the room is not worth more than €50.

Een oud gerenoveerd hotel waar je de grandeur van vroeger nog enigszins voelde. We kregen een appartement tot onze beschikking dat volledig in orde was met een 2 tv’s en een super groot bed. Het ontbijt was volledig met bacon en roerei. De prijs 13 € pp. er was ook een afgesloten parking voor 6€. Voor de prijs hadden we een geweldig verblijf . Het restaurant is op zondag gesloten , spijtig want ik denk dat dat ook de moeite was geweest en op zondag is er in Vittel niets te vinden in de directe omgeving. Alles sluit, het gesloten restaurant is voor ons het enige minpunt.

We have been to this hotel several times over the past 13 years. There have been changes throughout this time. We have never been disappointed, and it has even improved. We will come back

Although it is showing its age, it is very clean. The rooms are functionally furnished. Very good: separate toilet and bathroom, strikingly beautiful, soft, fresh and clean towels, almost as good as new. Remarkably friendly reception. Comfortable breakfast. Baked goods are from the bakery, not reheated like in other hotels. Very good selection.

Can only recommend as staff and accommodation are top including the chef who ptrepare very nice dishes. Wish them all the success they deserve.

Charming old French hotel with a great old staircase. Staff super friendly, we arrived late but still got a freshly tapped beer in the pretty bar. The room is small and showing its age, but the beds are very good and it was wonderfully quiet, we could sleep with the window open. Our car was fully packed in the locked car park during the night. The location to the A31 is very good and the price-performance ratio is fantastic. We will be back!!!!

Very nice hotel, simple but comfortable. Perfect for my business trip to Mirecourt.

There was no hot water, it smelled of cigarette smoke in the bathroom and we found cannabis on the cupboard of our bedroom.
