An excellent hotel! A very friendly welcome, clear and clean spaces, a simple but very comfortable room as well as the bathroom, the "happy sobriety" in the heart of Limoges, for me it's perfect!
First of all, in terms of the reception, I will keep very good memories thanks to Mr. Romain Cayla, a remarkable and warm person. I knew your establishment a little over half a century ago. It was called at the time, the "Auberge le Lion d'Or". Since then, the renovation work has been remarkable, while keeping the concept of the 1950s. The interior of the room has naturally been renovated, but very friendly and clean. A very small problem: I would have liked to have had a little more fresh fruit for breakfast. In any case, I will recommend your establishment to my friends and colleagues having joy! THANKS !! ...And good luck to Mr. Cayla and see you very soon!! Mary Kumata

Good performance as usual. Preferring the cheapest rooms and therefore not renovated, I can only put "good" to the quality of the accommodation. The concept of the Wifi connection for which you would have to give your credit card number to an unknown site did not appeal to me => no wifi during my stay
Small Préfecture hotel as they used to be called, well located in Limoges not far from the train station.

A very noisy room overlooking a street with a din most of the night and a noise of pipes at 5am. In the end, it's expensive not to sleep.

In a period of heat wave not sudden and installed for several days, stifling room, no air conditioning, no VMC or even a fan! The only air conditioning is at the desk

In transit back from vacation, we appreciated the position of this hotel for visiting Limoges. The young person at the reception is charming and gives clear and precise information. Our old bones appreciated the elevator to reach the 3rd floor and our little car, well loaded, appreciated the secure garage of the hotel. Only regret the WiFi does not "go up" to the 3rd floor - the stairs are probably too steep;)

We are satisfied with our stay at this hotel. We were warmly welcomed and quiet. Nevertheless, we have a few observations to make: -- we find that a 160 bed would be justified for a so-called "comfort" room, whereas the so-called "standard" room is equipped with one. -- a bedside table on each side of the bed (and not just one) would be welcome. -- one, or even two ramps, on the stairs seems necessary to us.
The sheets had not been changed. The receptionist took care of it after the common observation that we made. No question at the start, no commercial gesture. The hotel is very well located and comfortable. Pleasant staff. But for a first disappointed experience given the recommendations that had been made.

Hotel ideally located close to the old town. The welcome was warm, the room was spacious, the bathroom refurbished, the sound insulation excellent, the bed mattress firm, the cleanliness impeccable. It just lacked two extra pillows because those offered were thin and soft, and a box of tissues in the bathroom would be welcome. I really recommend this hotel! The breakfast was plentiful.

Aucune insonorisation entre les chambres, du bruit à l'extérieur, une moquette ancienne au sol tout est très daté (un bidet dans la petite salle d'eau !)
la dernière fois nous avions une chambre récente mais cette fois ci c'était la même que nous avions eu il y a 3 ans....problème de stationnement à proximité de l'hôtel. mais par contre l'accueil était chaleureux

Motif covid (?) pas de nettoyage des chambres si séjour plus d'une nuit - pas de support pour la douche qu'il faut garder à la main ça c'est très désagréable - problèmes de dépôt non identifié dans les toilettes qui se renouvelle malgré utilisation de la chasse - Enfin quitter l'hôtel à 10h dernier délai le samedi matin c'est ennuyeux car il faut traîner les valises pendant 2 heures ou plus selon heures des trains...
Mais l'hôtel est bien situé, sympathique et sa salle d'eau dans son look années 60 m'a bien plu (sauf désagréments des équipements signalés plus haut)
