Well-located hotel (opposite the train station). Very pleasant welcome. Perfect breakfast with good products, well done! Very comfortable bedding.
Hotel opposite the station but very quiet and a friendly welcome
Good value for money. Very welcoming. The downside is that the balconies connect to all the rooms, which means you can't sleep with the window open.

Request for renovation of the bathroom and toilets, lack of air conditioning

Thank you for your feedback. We take note of your comments even if they are not relevant! Constructive comments help us move forward and we are interested! Your comments were already cited orally this morning (which we appreciate), so why another bad rating for everyone to see when you have already received feedback? Strange...
As you point out, it is true that we do not have air conditioning. If I am not mistaken, this is noted in the description of the establishment. The high temperatures of the last few days are beyond our control. However, a fan is installed in each of the rooms. The amenities of a hotel are in line with its star rating. It is a shame to rate our hotel on criteria like these, perhaps you would be better off in a 3 or 4 star hotel? I am just allowing myself... It will not be 75 euros a night in the middle of August!
The bathroom renovation is planned. We just took over the hotel and it comes at a cost, and Rome wasn't built in a day! The rooms will be renovated one by one starting next fall. Unfortunately, there will be no air conditioning, which is too expensive and uses far too much energy (electricity is becoming a luxury item for professionals too, I assure you!).
A fan is more environmentally friendly (this is a personal opinion).

While passing through Challans, we stayed in this hotel for one night. The experience was pleasant, good location (close to the train station), the breakfast was delicious and varied. But what I remember above all is the welcome, the hospitality and the smile of the owners of the place! I highly recommend! 😚
