given the majority of reviews, we certainly had the least pleasant room! Very worn blanket, slightly old sheet, and why put the duvet with cover on top of that? In addition, hot temperature outside, hot in the room, no air conditioning, and .... the window opens right above the exhaust pipe of the kitchen extractor hood! Try to sleep enveloped in the smell of cooking and in the heat, without feeling cheated ... to be avoided, unless the other rooms are like the photos, which I doubt a little given the photo of the garden which is not quite in the same condition! Regarding the welcome and the meal, decent service.

Very disappointed. The cleanliness of the room and bathrooms was more than questionable. The only positive point: the heating. When you enter the restaurant, the smell of cat urine hits you and lingers. It ruins the meal.

Very friendly staff. We were welcomed as if we were part of the family. The room was absolutely adorable. Clean (but not perfect in the details). The meal was good and good value for money (e.g., a 30-euro menu for a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert). The overall atmosphere was cozy. We came across hens and chicks in the private parking lot. In the morning, we faintly heard the rooster crowing (nothing to wake us up about).

We were completely satisfied with our stay: good products in the restaurant and a very generous breakfast. We recommend the central location of this hotel for a visit to the tourist villages in the region.

The room really needs a makeover. The wallpaper is dated, the bathroom furniture is peeling, and the bathtub is difficult to access. It's a shame because it could have some charm if it were updated. For the price, it's too high while it's in this condition. Or at least, breakfast should be included so we can forget the details. The photos were promising, though.

Overall nice hotel. Quite kitsch decoration, but nice. The standard room on the road side is sufficient for one or two nights. The whole hotel has an atmosphere from another time, but which has the advantage of creating a relaxing change of scenery. The restaurant offers good quality local cuisine. The continental breakfast is simple but sufficiently copious. Don't go there on purpose, but don't avoid it if you are passing through the city.

In addition to the spider webs with their occupants I had to kill about ten flies that bit!! and covered in blood each time, a cockroach in the room and at 3:00 in the morning a curtain rod with its curtain fell with a crashing noise which scared us when we woke up....... very average ...... The outside is invaded by chickens/roosters and cats, it's more like a farmhouse accommodation than anything else, we didn't expect that. Fortunately it was only for one night for us, we couldn't have done more.

Very disappointed by the welcome in this Hotel. The waitress was unfriendly, her work shoddy (she didn't put a spoon on the table, she threw it!) We were served milk for breakfast that had gone bad!! not even a word of apology. The butter for breakfast is placed on the tables the night before!! the fruits are completely rotten on their display. A hygiene control team should go there!! And breakfast only opens at 8:30 a.m., with the employee also arriving at that time, so you are only served at 8:50 a.m.!! because there is no buffet. It's very late when we have to hit the road. In short address to forget!!! Very very disappointed.

A very pretty address that deserves to be known. A few minutes from Collonge-la-Rouge (magnificent village!), this hotel is a real little gem with a bucolic atmosphere… you will come across chickens, chicks, sheep, cats and donkeys just like at home. The swimming pool is superb and the garden is very pleasant. My room was a delight. I will return there as soon as possible.

The food was excellent at dinner but not a great breakfast. We only had breakfadt once.

In town, but very quiet with a very pleasant and bright restaurant at the back with its large windows overlooking a beautiful wooded garden. Room on the second and last floor of a good size and large, very pleasant bathroom, well decorated but whose paint and shower seals need a little refreshing.

Small charming hotel, good welcome, pleasant staff, decent breakfast served in a very warm restaurant (downside sometimes served a little late) the room with a large bed will need refreshing (mattress and pillows to change). The exteriors, especially in rainy weather, end up in mud and the droppings of free-range chickens.

Room outside the hotel after crossing a courtyard (you have to like farm animals!). However, very large and clean room. Very comfortable ! Restaurant in the evening correct and very generous breakfast in the morning.

Looking at the photos of the rooms, we were expecting something very 'modern' and new. This is not the case ! The doors creak, the floors creak, which wakes up the neighbors quite early if you get up early. The walls are thin, the pipes noisy, which in itself is not a problem if you are not expecting something mid-range, as is the case. And it’s very good for mid-range! The restaurant room, on the other hand, lives up to the photos, both in terms of decor, presentation, and the breakfast we had, which was filling and delicious. Given the smells coming from the kitchen, I suspect food was equally elaborate and appetizing. As much as we wouldn't particularly want to come back to the hotel, I want to taste their menus and dishes. Perhaps they are more restaurateurs than hoteliers?

We found 3 cockroaches in our room... No apology from the staff, it was like I reported a mosquito. The restaurant's menu does not match that of the website. Neither do the prices.....

Cold reception. We were not offered the possibility of dining in the hotel restaurant. We asked to be served breakfast before eight o'clock but the request was not met. Finally, breakfast was served late because we did not have the necessary products. Two croissants for each person, except my wife and me with only one croissant for each person. (?). Delay in preparing the invoice. Poor service. In the room, take a chair.

Leuk pittoresk hotelletje in een leuk dorpje. Aan de achterkant een heel mooi zwembad met mooie ligplekken. Eigen parkeerplaats en aardige mensen. Ontbijt was prima. Ze kwamen het aan tafel brengen. Het is met het zwembad een soort van paradijsje wat je van de voorkant niet verwacht. Rond het zwembad en parkeerplaats lopen katten, kippen en een schaap. Buy staan ook nog 2 ezels. Gewoon lekker oubollig (wel gehorig) maar leuk sfeervol hotel.

Small friendly hotel with swimming pool unfortunately the surroundings are not very clean. Hens frolic all around and sow their excrement. Damage. The room was correct, the separate toilets and the bathroom with a very correct bath except that there was no more shower gel. Magnificent breakfast with homemade jams and pastries.

Reservation made 3 months in advance, confirmation 10 days before arriving. Welcome on arrival and all this for just one night. Room and bathroom immaculate. Warmth of welcome. It is a pity that there is no lift but apparently there is not enough space, however the staircase is well designed and can be climbed up or down without requiring any particular attention. In addition, the hotel offers a swimming pool of very comfortable dimensions. No parking problem in the street or inside the property.

Decent hotel. However, the exteriors lack maintenance, aggravated by the hens and roosters frolicking freely. The morning crowing of the rooster can disturb the tranquility expected during holidays. The ground floor bedroom does not have a shower and a bathtub may not correspond to comfort accessible to all. In addition, the bathroom is not separated from the bedroom even by a simple curtain, thereby limiting privacy during stays other than as a couple.

Reception at the hotel and service at the atypical but efficient restaurant, good traditional restaurant. Good value for money. Comfortable room. Friendly setting in a pretty village. Breakfast a little late and messy! But in the end it was all there! Incident on arrival (suspicious dejection in front of the bedroom door and stained shoes…. we'll spare you the details!!!) managed a little lightly by the hotel. In the end, the stay was still pleasant despite a few mishaps!

Charming welcome, magnificent setting, very quiet, vegetation and farm animals, very pleasant rental (living room and bedroom), excellent bedding, cleanliness and modern and functional bathroom and what about the catering!! simply excellent (homemade foie gras, delicious porcini mushroom omelette and duck confit with perfect vegetables), a large swimming pool with deckchairs and tables to relax in the middle of nature and a small terrace under the trees in front of the room. Only one desire, to return there.

The hotel was 'quirky' , we had a ground floor apartment, £ours opened onto the pool area. A nice pool, relaxing. Nice bathroom, good size bedroom. The restaurant was excellent, lovely decor, attractive views over the valley. We enjoyed an excellent set menu with foie gras and ice be Boucher. As ex Residents in SW France, we really enjoyed the taste of rural France. Breakfast was also good, lovely fresh croissants and bread. No complaints at all, even the wifi worked well.

First of all surprised by the scattering of the places of reception. But at second glance, the various accommodations are welcoming, furnished and tastefully decorated. Premium comfort. Limit hygiene. Cleaning in the room not done (we had to change rooms). Animals roaming around the swimming pool (poultry sheep cats etc ..) with the droppings that this implies ...... Breakfast limited in relation to the price .... Otherwise correct evening meal

We had a wonderful stay

Nobody at the reception for 15 minutes, A "what name did you book" on arrival instead of a "hello", a messy entrance where the peanuts from the midday aperitif still reign while it's 4:45 p.m., a key that opens 2 bedrooms on the same floor, the bathroom with a lot of mold, fly droppings on the table lamps and lampshades, and the dust stuck on these lamp bases since... ., the chairs, which have never been cleaned, sport a dubious gray, the curtains stained and dusty, cobwebs in the dining room which was however very well decorated at one time but which has aged badly, poultry, cats, a sheep in the parking lot and around the swimming pool where a chicken has been dead for 2 days, a nice waitress with a stained blouse, who does her best to do a good job in this menagerie... You have to watch the breakfast compotes, mine had been expired for 6 months and the excuse given to me by the boss who is never wrong: "I didn't put on my glasses" is not valid given the expiry date. Fortunately the food is good, well cooked and copiously served. The bedding is comfortable except for the pillows that are too flat. Not everything is to be thrown away, but it's high time to think about doing a good spring cleaning. In short, it's too dirty for me. If I had been in a gite on the farm, I would have understood but there, going through a "Logis" label, it is inadmissible
