Easy access, clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast / close to Vulcania, Puy de Dôme and hiking
Local restaurant? No, it's a small restaurant to help out, words used by the person at reception. The spa, not available... In short, it was a mistake in choosing this hotel
We had a great time at this hotel and restaurant. There were some shortages in the drinks section, but we understand, as the restaurant is closed from November to April.
Kein Abendessen möglich, da eine externe Gruppe den Hotelgästen vorgezogen wurde (!). Wir haben das Hotel als Etappenstop auf unserer Reise von Bern an den Atlantik lange im voraus gebucht und sind am Abend angekommen.. Eine Ankündigung per Mail, dass das Restaurant für Hotelgäste ab 18:30 Uhr nicht zur Verfügung steht, erfolgte nicht. das ist ein no-go. Das habe ich von einen Logis Hôtel nicht erwartet.
Renovated hotel with spacious rooms.
We arrived at 9:10 PM in mid-August, and the restaurant had closed. We had called ahead of time at 8:30 AM to let them know we would be arriving at that time and asked if it was possible to order dinner to be delivered to the room. The response was negative. When we asked about a nearby restaurant for dinner, the manager ignored us, telling us there was a Burger King in Clermont (20 minutes away). He also refused to let us use the bar's microwave so we could heat milk for our daughters. He was also annoyed that we had arrived later than 9:00 AM, closing time, even though the Booking.com ad indicated that check-in was until 11:30 PM. We were traveling in Switzerland, where punctuality is the norm, and we haven't had any problems. In an area so far from the city and restaurants, I think it's essential that the hotel offer these services within reasonably long hours (9:00 p.m. in mid-August is certainly not an unwelcome hour). On the other hand, the hotel isn't anything special. It's next to an industrial park, the rooms overlook the parking lot, and it's noticeably poorly maintained (in Room 5, where we stayed, the floor creaked and the sofa was broken). I don't understand the Booking.com reviews, which, in my opinion, don't reflect the hotel's reality. Breakfast wasn't bad, but again, the manager was very unfriendly. He told us that breakfast was from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and that we had to arrive before 9:30 a.m. if we wanted breakfast.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean room and comfortable bedding. A little extra with the mosquito net (I have children who have allergies)
We were very pleasantly surprised by the kindness and professionalism of the young people who work at the hotel. Bravo!

Very pleasant stay, spacious bedroom, well-equipped bathroom, restaurant on site,...
Motel style on the edge of a major national road. Room with access from the outside and located on the floor accessible by stairs only. No assistance offered for luggage unlike other "LOGIS". Room without a window with no visibility to the outside except through an inaccessible skylight. Very average bedding and soft "low-end" pillows. Unsecured parking. Restaurant toilets: the two taps on each sink are completely broken. Does not meet the "LOGIS" standards expected compared to other establishments in the Hotel Chain.
The young staff is very helpful and motivated. The room was large, spacious and clean. The hotel is very well located for hiking in the Puy de Dôme. The food is good quality. Just one negative point. If you stay several nights, which was our case, the dishes are always the same. But the location of the hotel is dismal. Do not look out the window.

Too bad that breakfast can only be served after 8 a.m. when you have to leave around 7 a.m. Otherwise, pretty good, but menus with little choice

Lovely, unusual hotel. Very pleasant terraces and, above all, the young man at the reception and the service were very pleasant.
