The welcome was very good. The ground-floor room was noisy; the reception photocopier kept beeping. Breakfast preparation was also very loud in the early morning. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired (especially the toilet).
A good hotel, except for the very limited breakfast. In room 4, the Wi-Fi is practically non-existent.
We usually stay in hotels for our business trips, and I have to admit that this hotel is in our top three most disappointing. Here's why: - Upon arrival, we waited five minutes at reception without seeing a soul. I finally called the hotel landline to let them know we were there. We waited another five minutes before someone finally arrived. - We asked for advice on where to eat dinner. The person we spoke to stared at us wide-eyed as if our request was unbelievable... they suggested we go to Valenciennes where we could find fast food... strange advice considering the hotel offers a gourmet restaurant on certain evenings. We were told the restaurant would be open the following evening, so we didn't make a reservation. - We went up to our room. The timer light in the common areas only stayed on for a few seconds... perfect for tripping and falling. - Once in the room, we discovered that we only had a set of towels and shower gel/shampoo for one person. - We also discovered that there was still water in the kettle, left by previous guests. - Arriving at breakfast the first morning: no table was set. We had to find our own glasses, cutlery, and napkins. The buffet was practically empty. The bread was hard and stale. There was only one small bottle of orange juice for two people. The milk wasn't kept fresh or in the refrigerator. - The room was cleaned, the bed was made quickly (the pillows weren't even put back in place). No cups were provided in the bathroom. The cleaning lady came knocking on the door later that afternoon to give us a set of towels, saying, "I wasn't told there were two of you." - The second evening: a cell phone number called me several times at 8:30 pm. Annoyed at being disturbed at this hour, I finally answered. It was the hotel calling to tell me that Mr. Ihler was expected at the restaurant for his overnight package. We never booked an overnight package, we never booked the restaurant, and they still seemed to be ignoring the fact that Mr. Ihler had come with someone. - The second breakfast: just as disastrous as the first (no table set, no more plain yogurt, barely any fruit...). This time we ran into someone from the hotel who said she was surprised to see that there were two of us, that she hadn't been informed. - We left without seeing anyone from the hotel... just like (almost) throughout our entire stay. In short, a fiasco!

Beautiful setting but lacks air conditioning in the rooms.
Staying at your hotel again, this time in an upstairs room. Absolute comfort and peace and quiet. The meals with the overnight stay package are excellent. The staff are very kind and helpful. Nothing to complain about. I will be back.
Good hotel overall, lack of soundproofing in the ground floor rooms, especially in the morning when breakfast is being set up. The photocopier in the entrance emits incessant beeps that can be heard in the room (I occupied the room at the very end of the corridor on the ground floor), it's a shame. The rest is very good, overnight stay, OK food, OK breakfast.
Perfect, I book for each of my trips.
