Nice hotel with comfortable beds and we had a spacious room
Could do with aircon for hot nights as ours were, a fan was provided but was quite noisy
Could also do with a kettle in the room to allow for the making of hot beverages

Friendly and helpful receptionist
Good bedrooms, beds and bedding
Carpets need a proper clean or replacing as very stained
Breakfast was ok but could provide more croissants and some fresh fruit
Walking distance to town centre and beach

I really like this hotel for its family atmosphere, helpful and welcoming!

The hotel room is extremely small and outdated such a pity because the building and family is sooo nice but the room was extremely tiny very hot and the there was no space to even go from one side of the bed to another. Instead of AC there is a huge fan that occupies all the space basically on one side of the bed. This is a gem of a place but needs some remodeling for sure. Also the covers were super hot and sheets has texture on them so not smooth. Lovely staff and service for sure!

Everything was clean, very friendly service, quality and optimal price, during high season it is complicated.

We have been travelling for 4 weeks and this accommodation was very expensive for what we received The room was very small and the bathroom was almost unuseable

Great stay at the Val Floris Hotel

Everything was fine, the shower was very narrow. In room 7

Double room booked. Was provided with a room in an annex to the main hotel which was accessed by an external unlit staircase. Room was very small and en suite was minute. Not suitable for a 4 night stay. As 4 nights booked would have thought that the owner would have realised that the room was not suitable. We cut short our stay by one night as couldn’t put up with it any longer. Have to say that it was in the 30’s during our stay which certainly didn’t help matters due to lack of air conditioning.

Hotel in the heart of Biarritz, quiet and with free parking!!!!! Great shaded terrace under a magnificent magnoola tree. And the welcome and service are very friendly. The room is a shame there is no air conditioning. Because with 36 degrees outside.....

Very good experience. Easily accessible establishment and close to the city center. Possibility of parking our bikes during our trip. Pleasant stay.

The room was too small, the bathroom very small and the room has no air conditioning and was way too hot, couldn't sleep well. The bed was confortable though, but the bed sheets were very strange and uncorfortable.

Everyone was so lovely! The room was amazing value for money and they were so kind at the reception desk.

We received a very warm welcome for our last-minute accommodation. The bedding is excellent, and we're 10 minutes from the seafront. A full breakfast is available at a very reasonable price. Another special mention goes to the hostess, who made us feel very welcome!

The hotel is somewhat old and neglected. We were given a room in the bathroom where the pipes make a lot of noise when the shower is turned on, and the toilet also leaks water when you flush the toilet. You have to make sure it doesn't keep leaking water. The nightstand is unstable and could fall over at any moment. In short, a hotel that needs maintenance. The area is very quiet and the receptionist is friendly.

The only negative point for me is the soundproofing of the rooms, which isn't good. You can hear too much of what's going on next door. Otherwise, it's very good.

Very nice place

Hello, I am rating this hotel without having slept there. Having contracted flu the day before our stay which did not allow me to go to Biarritz, we tried to ask for a postponement of our stay. The hotelier refused. Next time I will go through a booking platform (which I do not usually do) which will allow me to cancel in the event of last-minute illness. Too bad

The room is small but it's fine for two days. We were unlucky because it was very windy and the shutters were hitting the wall from the outside, making a lot of noise all night long.

c'est un petit hôtel très bien situé mais un peu vieillissant et qui mériterait un rafraichissement. La propreté est irréprochable et un très bon point pour le petit déjeuner copieux, varié et de très bonne qualité avec de bons produits locaux.

Too expensive for French standards. People are friendly, the room was clean. The place is fine for one night.

Accessible hotel with parking space, good quality and comfortable bedding. Close to the beach, the city center and shops, restaurant on foot. No soundproofing between the rooms, noise from the bathroom and toilets, the television, and neighbors snoring. The window frames, double glazing not effective, lots of traffic on the avenue, peeling paint and questionable cleanliness. The breakfast is of poor quality, very little choice, the most surprising being 2FR eggs presented in a box of ORGANIC eggs (SCAM)? We will not return, I am surprised by the lack of quality of this establishment while I frequent the logis for my business trips.

Minimalist welcome upon our arrival, decent room, relatively clean and perfect bedding! On the other hand, in terms of tranquility and noise, the best! Impossible to take our car from 9:30 p.m. because people from outside the hotel had the intelligence to park their car behind ours and as no hotel manager is present at night, there is only a telephone number to call in case of emergency, so impossible to leave! Then some residents of the hotel improvised on an outdoor terrace under our bedroom window a karaoke evening until 11 p.m.! Then around 5 a.m. other guests were kind enough to shout in the corridors and knock on the doors of the rooms! a very relaxing night ..... a summer camp dormitory without a monitor! It's really a shame because the hotel is very well located 15 minutes walk from the city center of Biarritz!!!

Very warm welcome, very well located hotel, the manager and the staff very professional and adorable. Small downside the bathroom.

La primera noche nos dieron una habitación muy pequeña y para nuestro gusto con un colchón incómodo y ropa de cama aún más incómoda. Al menos el baño tenía ventana.
Para la segunda noche nos cambiaron la habitación a una mucho más pequeña, apenas cabía la maleta pues no se podía pasar de un lado a otro de la habitación, con un baño muy pequeño y sin ventilación. Algo increíble. Hay fotos No pusimos reclamación porque al día siguiente nos íbamos. Pero ha sido muy decepcionante todo.
El trato del personal ha sido muy correcto.

It's near the center. The woman in charge is very nice and helpfull and they took into account everything we would like about the room. So, to us, it's been great.

Cozy hotel in a heritage home. The rooms are all you need for a short stay. The breakfast is quite good and varied. The owner is lovely and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay here.

Normal room price increased to compensate for the Logis commission, and therefore too expensive in terms of quality/price for this room in the annex, with very dated equipment. Surprising for a Logis.

The welcome was great, so was the free parking. Unfortunately the bathroom was minute and the room was also small. However the garden area was a bonus.

Location is good and the bedroom is clean. However the hotel guests are like a big family, you can perfectly hear each conversation and whenever a guest wakes up, everyone wakes up with his alarm too.
