It's a magnificent place, the quality of the food, the superb room, the lovely staff, we loved our two days spent in this establishment..on the other hand, don't go there to watch TV because it only picks up the second one, probably because of the beautiful mountains around, focus on beautiful walks.
Superbly located to enjoy the magnificent walks in Queyras! Very friendly welcome, the swimming pool and the fireplace are very appreciated. In addition, the chef prepares original and delicious cuisine every day.

Positive points, the location for visiting the region and the relatively large room. Negative points, a quick hello upon arrival and then, a simple polite contact (hello, good evening) but never during our 5-day stay, we were asked how our stay was going! In our room there is a small kitchen with a sign saying that if you use even a glass or a knife, it will cost you €100!! First breakfast, I empty the rest of the pot of cottage cheese and ask for more. Answer, it is awaiting delivery. 4 days later, it is still awaiting delivery! We decide to eat at the restaurant and have to register in the morning. The menu only offers 3 dishes, undoubtedly a sign of the freshness of the products. The restaurant opens at 7:00 p.m. and when we arrive at 7:30 p.m., the waitress tells us that there is no more beef, surprising! Finally, the sauna which had encouraged me to book in this establishment. Dialogue the day I want to book it. Me: "Can I book the sauna tonight?" The manager: "Are you eating here tonight?" Me: "No." The manager: "The sauna is broken"!!!!!!!!

Very nice HOTEL, pleasant staff, good room and bathroom, only downside is the bedding a little too firm for my taste. (Quite thin mattress) Regarding the SPA area, average. The jacuzzi is half working, the sauna is broken and the hammam is not working!!! Smell of fuel in the ping pong table and jacuzzi area.
Extremely pleasant staff, noisy common room and a lot of flies, we expected meals with local products (on the menu shrimp and salmon..) we had to book to eat on the terrace unfortunately no more places, there was only one creno left for the jaccazzi, sauna hammam out of service, no reduction despite this. All this for almost 600e for 2 nights. We will return to the region but not to this hostel too bad because the staff is really nice)

Be careful, they don't know how to manage the Etik application. They weren't able to get into the system and I didn't get the Etik loyalty points, which represent +/- 20 euros. I called them and left a message, but they didn't deign to call me back.

Magnificent setting, warm welcome, exceptional meal
Unenthusiastic welcome Access to the rooms at 4:30 p.m. for a required departure at 10:00 a.m. Reservation via booking a priori not accepted by the hotelier, billing outside booking but with the site's increase. No heating in working order in the main room Poor quality of bedding and the beds for 11-year-old children are too cramped (very narrow) Presentation of the facilities without details of overcharging: sauna hammam jacuzzi. For €300 per night we expected more comfort or friendliness The hotel is very well positioned at the foot of the slopes, the breakfast is plentiful, varied and the lounge and dining room very pleasant The view from the rooms was consistent with the description of the hotel
We booked this hotel, when booking it was noted that a kitchenette was available 48 hours before the stay I called the hotel back to find out the arrival time this was not noted on the reservation and that's when we learned that the kitchenette was not working. I understood but the fridge being said to be working I thought it was the same for the microwave and it was ultimately not the case very disabling when we have two children under 4 years old with us so problem for the bottles in the middle of the night and no solutions provided by the manager, who refused all solutions proposed by his staff :) In short, thank you to the staff of this hotel who were themselves great and who always tried to find solutions for us, the lovely staff! Nothing to complain about on that side. But we will not come back. And by the way it remains a very nice hotel just to review the rental conditions so that everything is up to date on the reservation interface.
Quality services, delivered on a human and family scale.
A weekend stay spent in this well-appointed establishment with the manager and his colleagues listening to us. The standard room is correct except for the fact that the television, which was too small for my taste, was broken for our stay. I recommend the half-board and breakfast which are good value for money. All the staff at this establishment listen to us and take great care of us. The geographical location of this establishment in the direct vicinity of the slopes makes it an additional asset.
A very good experience at the Chalet de l'Izoard. The place is very warm, with its large central fireplace and above all the staff is welcoming and caring. The spacious room with a 180 bed is great. We had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant: raclette & fondue with local products and a very nice wine list. We will come back with pleasure to enjoy more of the activities around.

Rustic, original quarters. Lots of stairs. Helpful, friendly owners. Rustic and simple furnishings, but some in need of renovation. Everything very clean. Sumptuous breakfast buffet.
The small standard room under the roof was cold, damp and musty. Shower good, food and breakfast very good. Spa area mediocre, you can use the sauna for 15 minutes and the whirlpool for 15 minutes if you book in advance. Swimming pool OK, shower?

Excessive quality/price ratio. You can't even make a herbal tea in the room. There is no vegetarian menu for dinner. The breakfast formula is good. It can't be called a SPA just because there is a narrow space where there is a swimming pool, a hot tub and a mini sauna, which can be used with a big time limitation.

Very good address. The setting and services are of a very good standard (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam), garden area for a drink, the whole team is very friendly. Family atmosphere (in the good sense of the word). If you are coming to the area for the first time to go hiking like us, the boss will listen to you and will be able to advise you on your outings. Don't hesitate to take the half board option, because for our part we had a great time. I went there to do 4 days of hiking with my other half, I will probably stop there soon during a motorcycle outing with friends.
