Excellent location, service and staff. Really great place and food. Highly recommend for the stay

Hotel staff not interested in hotel guest. Only in the party. Strange noise all night ( sounds like a compressor) dj till late as well.
Restaurant closed. Not enough towels in the room.

The reality is far less appealing than the photos on the website. The toilet's cleanliness is questionable, covered in blackened limescale, and the bathroom door doesn't close properly—I'm not talking about locking it, just closing it. The bathroom feels like you're back at summer camp. There's a dehumidifier in the closet, giving off a very unpleasant smell. The air conditioning is incredibly noisy. The smoke detectors are hanging off the ceiling and sitting on top of the closet. And when you mention this to reception, you get the impression that no one has ever slept in room 2 and they're just discovering all this. In short, disappointing is the only word that applies.

Good value for money. Spacious and functional room. The pool is pleasant in summer. The only negative point was the breakfast area was almost empty at 8:15 am (not replenished).

Dark and old-fashioned hotel

Instead of the twin room promised on the website (and booked 3 months in advance), we were relegated to a disabled room at the end of a gloomy corridor in which: - the air conditioning was faulty (it was cooler in the corridor than in the room) - the soap dispenser was empty - the shower gel tube was not in its place. And we were called back by phone for a question that we had answered by internet message, which proves the lack of follow-up by the staff. No discount was given for the lack of the promised air conditioning, and we sweated during the 2 nights of our stay.

The room seemed fine when I walked in. But I quickly understood why there were ant traps everywhere. I had to share my room with flying ants. The windowpanes hadn't been cleaned in ages, judging by the cobwebs. I didn't dare put my clothes in the closets given their state. As for the toilet, someone needs to explain to the cleaning staff that the outside of the toilet bowl should be cleaned too; there were traces of dried urine. And to top it all off, despite outside temperatures nearing 40°C, I had to turn off the air conditioning during the night because of a repetitive noise. In short, for €109 for an overnight stay, it's very disappointing.

Even though no one was there when we arrived, an envelope with instructions was waiting for us.

Breakfast at 8:00 am was not planned and was not indicated in my order.

We received a warm and prompt welcome. There was ample parking and our bicycles were secure. The room was perfect, very clean, and the bedding was excellent, with a superb king-size bed. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the lovely, large, shaded terrace. Breakfast was also good.

The room was adequate, nothing exceptional for a 3-star hotel. I was disappointed by the restaurant, which was too standard and a bit pricey – a burger for 23 euros, desserts that you find everywhere, and no vegetarian or fish options.

This is the first time I've had to ask a hotel to clean the room and change the towels. The staff were pleasant but not helpful.

The building was very noisy (plumbing noises, sounds of objects being moved) from 6:00 AM. The ground-floor room was directly opposite the other room and had no curtains on the window. The bathroom fixtures were stained with limescale. The restaurant closed at 8:30 PM. However, the room was large, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast buffet very varied.

Very well received, good food, very satisfied

We stayed two nights at this hotel, but the experience was rather mixed. The hotel might be suitable for a short one-night stopover, but not really for longer. A more professional renovation is needed, as the current layout gives a rather haphazard impression. When you take a shower, the bathroom becomes a swimming pool. Furthermore, the rooms don't really match the photos shown, which is disappointing upon arrival. The hotel entrance is pleasant and well-maintained, but unfortunately, this doesn't reflect the rest of the facilities. Breakfast is quite limited, with few choices and only the bare essentials. One small but significant detail: the hairdryer provided is a very poor-quality, foldable model, with which it's virtually impossible to achieve a decent blow-dry. This is a shame, as better quality equipment wouldn't be a major investment. The Wi-Fi must not reach all the rooms, as we had no signal. On the other hand, a very positive point for the staff: the team is welcoming, helpful, and customer-focused. A big thank you to them for their kindness.

Nous avions une jolie chambre avec un lit, mais il n’y avait pas assez de prises électrigues. Le diner etait delicieux mais le petit dejeuner etait trop peu varie et trop maigre.

Some difficulty adjusting the heating with the air conditioning

The hotel is quiet and pleasant, especially on weekends, and easily accessible. The staff is competent and attentive. Having arrived earlier than expected, I called the hotel and asked if our room was ready so I could check in an hour earlier. I was told it was indeed available, but that I would be charged an extra 20 euros. I find this rather poor customer service for a hotel we've been coming to regularly for several years, and which was practically empty that weekend. A real negative point, a shame.

Restaurant op zaterdag en zondag gesloten staat niet duidelijk vermeld op de website. Ik had een tafel gereserveerd en een volledige bevestiging gekregen maar niet eventjes de melding ontvangen dat alles gesloten is. Ook de receptie is onbemand. Er ligt een enveloppe klaar met de sleutel erin. Mijn elektrische auto moest geladen worden en had gerekend op de aangeboden laadpaal en de werking hiervan. Ook deze was buiten werking wat mij de volgende dag behoorlijk in de problemen heeft gebracht. De vriendelijke meneer heeft me wel een gratis glas wijn aangeboden.
Ontbijt zeer karig.

Perfect apart from the fire alarm at 3am with no one to reassure

No space reserved exclusively for guests. A welcoming, friendly, and efficient atmosphere. Lack of staff, waiting times.

Upon arrival at the hotel, there was no one at the reception desk. The room key was in an envelope waiting for us at the counter; there was no greeting. We had made a reservation at the restaurant and received a confirmation online. It turned out the restaurant was closed that day. The maids referred us to a nearby restaurant. This is not what we're used to from Logis de France.

Worst hotel experience of my life. The room (room no. 20) was dirty, the furnishings were damaged, the lighting was broken, there was mold on the ceiling, there was an unpleasant smell in the room, no staff on site, and the price was outrageous. I took photos of the room and will upload them to Google, along with a very poor review.

Quiet hotel for a one-night stopover on the way back from vacation, a big plus for the pool in this scorching weather. Very good meal and good value for money. Varied and generous breakfast.

Disappointed by the very quick welcome from the young man. No restaurant because it was the weekend and no staff after 7 p.m., surprising for a hotel. But the real downside is the cleanliness: traces in the toilet bowl, dust on the furniture, batteries in the shower… really not great. And at breakfast, the ham was no longer good… in short, we felt a partial abandonment of the place.

Arrived at 6pm. Front desk was manned by someone not very welcoming. Just gave me my key and said nothing. I had to prompt him on breakfast and wifi facilities. He didn't speak English but that wasn't a problem for me.

Came with family for the Ascension weekend for one night, the environment is extremely quiet for the night. (There is a college next door, which was closed all weekend) Good welcome Unfortunately the room smelled of damp (room 3) The closet in the bedroom gives behind the bathroom of the room next door, the paint is warping and the smell in the closet is unbearable, really incomprehensible for a 3 star hotel!!!! We chose this hotel for its location on our route and based on the reviews. Our stay went perfectly. The quality of the welcome, the dinner with very good products and very well-selected wines, the room is well-equipped, the bedding comfortable, and the silence at night. We can only recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, as a stopover before heading to our vacation spot. Arriving around 10:30 p.m., we were warmly welcomed and given all the information we needed to settle in. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, but the reception staff were kind enough to lend us cutlery and plates so we could dine with our meal brought from the road—a real plus! The room was decent and comfortable, and we slept well. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, and satisfying. An ideal stopover for a family in transit. We recommend it!

Water was provided but no tea coffee facilities in the bedroom.

TV screen a little small

Our stay at the Saint-Romain hotel was quite pleasant, but we regret that the restaurant is not open during the weekend. So we had to find a place to eat and travel more or less 10 km after a long journey by car. This is not mentioned in the catalog of "Logis hotel 2025"

Our 3 d time here. Friendly welcome. Roomchange was possible for the large room because of 2 dogs. Diner in the evening was ok too. Dogs were allowed in the restaurant

Hotel with an old-fashioned look and a little disappointing at first. On the other hand, good bedding, clean hotel, pleasant bathroom and separate toilet. A renovation and a little more modern decoration would be welcome. Perhaps an elevator for the elderly ... an important note: we found the price of the room very excessive compared to what was offered to us and our unfavorable first impression.

It is a shame that we were not informed that a wedding was taking place on the evening of our arrival, and that our room was located right next to the room where this wedding was taking place. Good but the bathrooms need to be reviewed. Your room 4 does not have an overflow, instead there is a hole.

The establishment is well located; the welcome by a young woman was correct. On the other hand, we regret a somewhat "rough" attitude on the part of a lady in charge of breakfast. Arriving on Saturday evening, we did not, it is true, note that breakfast was served until 10am only on weekends. Monday morning we showed up at 9:25am, convinced that we were in the right timing. Alas... This person made us understand very strongly that this was disrupting HER organization; she deigned to restart the drinks machine and asked us to help ourselves to the buffet quickly. Needless to say, in this case, smiling was optional. Moreover, 5 minutes after us, another couple experienced the same mishap and with a limited choice, because the clearing was well advanced!... Fortunately, a very helpful young man took care of us. We are convinced that customer relations are a real asset in an increasingly competitive business world. Lack of empathy is a fault. Furthermore, we regret that the restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The outdoor setting is pleasant; however, the equipment (seats) is showing some signs of wear and tear. Overall, these are just a few details to be sorted out. We will nevertheless recommend the hotel...

We were welcomed in a friendly manner and taken to our room. There was a penetrating smell in the hotel, which I could not properly describe. The room is simple with a large modern shower. But it was very warm in the room. We immediately turned on the air conditioning, which did provide some cooling, but worked more as a fan than as an air conditioning. Upon arrival, we were told that the restaurant was closed that evening. Disappointing, because I had read good reviews about the food. The swimming pool was also closed. Apart from us, there were a few other guests, but otherwise it was very dead. By the way, we had a delicious meal in a village further on. After a very warm night, a good breakfast was waiting. Also in the breakfast room that terrible smell again. Fortunately, we could have breakfast outside.
