Small, clean room, very comfortable bed. The big lack concerns the extra storage, style coat rack, or small piece of furniture to put your toilet bag for example.

Very good stay. Very friendly welcome by all the staff. The owners are very caring. For technical reasons we arrived after 9:00 p.m. and it was possible for us to have dinner at the restaurant (even though we were out of hours). We were also offered to park our bikes in the hotel garage. I highly recommend.
Have a good stay. Yes the rooms are small but they are clean and they have been renovated relatively recently. Yes, you can hear the neighbors' doors closing during the day, but I didn't hear anything at night and slept peacefully. A good stay at this hotel. A downside, I found only one electrical outlet. I also tried the restaurant on the terrace (remember to book when you arrive) which was very correct with local dishes. Dishes were served quickly despite the influence. Finally, I slept in Monthermé between two stages of rando-roller. The city brings all the daily supplies to continue its journey. And it has pretty views of the Ardennes, which are fantastic. In short, a good hotel for a great hike. I will stay at this hotel again, without hesitation.
We spent 2 pleasant nights....Super private terrace where you can eat/drink. Good food with local products.

L'hôtel n'est pas à la hauteur des descriptions. Rénové ? La chambre est plutôt défraîchie, papier peint qui se décolle, moisissures au plafond, porte de salle de bain difficile à ouvrir et bruyante. Sanitaires vieillots et humides.
Une seule prise de courant dans la chambre. Mal insonorisé, in entends tous les bruits de couloir et de salle de bain des voisins.

Very disappointing arrival time, with the responsible being very un-polite and slapping the entry door in front of us due to our early arrival. Check-in time is 5pm but we were ways earlier. This does not allow the hotel responsible from being un-polite. I can only warn people from this experience and never to book at this place. During our stay we went to another hotel in this. Illage and had dinner there. We told about our experience at the Franco-Belge hotel and were told that this behavior is well known and that we are not the only ones having been enduring such.
Chouette ambiance et personnel très attentionné. Beaucoup de gens trouveront les chambres petites et vieillottes, mais nous n'avons pas besoin de plus pour y faire une étape et cela a un certain charme. Mais le repas du soir compris dans la demi-pension n'était pas à la hauteur. Assiette ardennaise, certes avec quelques bons produits (en particulier le boudin), mais pommes de terre frites inacceptables (probablement surgelées, frites en un seul bain jusqu'à ce que elles soient couleur marron et toujours flasques), salade insipide (prélavée?) et dessert quelconque. Le vin était aussi plutôt triste.
Manifestement il manque quelqu'un qui apporte connaissance, temps et soin à la restauration. On leur souhaite de trouver cette personne et on reviendra avec beaucoup de plaisir.
