Excellent weekend spent at the Auberge du Vieux Lanas. Everything is there for a pleasant time. The building is beautiful, the welcome very friendly, the room comfortable and tastefully decorated, a varied breakfast and the restaurant wonderful. The team is dynamic and attentive. A big plus for us bikers is the closed garage under video surveillance. Very nice place

Small inn in the center of the village. Very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The welcome is warm. The breakfast with local products is very enjoyable: yogurts, fruit juices, jams, pastries, bread, ... I recommend this inn. We did not have the meal but it looked really good and quality.

Beautiful and quiet location in the heart of the Ardèche. All employees are very customer friendly, nothing is too much. Beautiful room with bathroom with everything you need. Sufficiently extensive menu for the delicious dinner. Excellent breakfast.

Beautiful establishment with a large terrace for sunny days, nicely decorated rooms and a very good restaurant. Very well located to discover the region. However, at the time of departure, a billing error was made on the meal taken the day before; the person at the reception could not rectify the bill which had been made by another person. Fortunately, someone else (the manager?) arrived and remade the bill, looking down on us, without apologizing (so we could wonder if it was not done on purpose!?). A word of advice, check the bill carefully... Too bad we were left with a negative impression.

We had a great stay. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious. The hotel and the rooms are well decorated and very pleasant. The staff is really very friendly. Lanas is a pretty village. And the possibility of a garage for bikers with all the necessary equipment to leave our things and tools available is a really well thought out bonus!

The village of Lanas is between two very well known and touristed villages of the Ardeche but unlike those two villages Lanas is not overly touristed or commercialized. The Auberge du Lanas is a gem with plenty of available parking accessible to the hotel through a short covered passage way and is fronted by a beautiful pleasant tree shrouded square. Just behind the hotel is a rabbit warren of small covered and uncovered cobbled passage ways that are unchanged since ancient times. The Auberge is staffed by a young upbeat and extremely professional staff and provides clean and comfortable rooms at a very fair price. The wine list is composed of some excellent local choices and the kitchen is unsurpassed in the quality and creativeness of its offerings.

Perfect, we had an excellent stay, everything was perfect: the room, the welcome, the breakfasts and the evening meals. Thank you to the staff.

Sinds ons laatste bezoek, 5 jaar geleden, prima gerenoveerd. Uitstekende onvangst, ondanks dat bar en restaurant gesloten waren. Kamer licht en uitstekend sanitair. Goed bed en een prima klimaat regeling. Hebben alleen geslapen omdat het restaurant helaas maandag gesloten was. Lanas is een grappig oud plaatsje aan de Ardèche. Weinig faciliteiten, maar die zijn er in de buurt genoeg.

I highly recommend this hostel. It's a young, smiling and very responsive team. I came there completely by chance. When I come back, it won't be by chance.
