Very good experience with a very clean and welcoming room

Clean room and warm welcome service
Very warm welcome, spacious and comfortable room. Table service and pleasant on-site catering.
Only one room out of the two had been booked despite my 2 confirmed reservations... I had to look for a room 15 minutes away for the first night. No explanation!
The room had previously used by a smoker, not the fault of the hotel, but it takes a long time for the room to clear. If the cleaning staff had noticed, we might have been moved to another room.
Friendly staff but not present on arrival. An access code was sent by SMS and the keys left inside. This is a bit disappointing for a traditional hotel. We had planned to have dinner at the restaurant but it is closed on Saturdays. As there is nothing else nearby it is annoying.

In itself the hostel itself and the room are ok. But there are several points that I would like to suggest to improve the experience: The rooms are very hot, it would be very appropriate to add a fan. And although understandable for a small establishment, I always find sad an establishment that does not have a physical reception with indirect key delivery.
Everything is simple. Take the time to chat with the owners.
Excellent welcome from the management, Comfortable bedding, clean room, a small downside with the broken roller shutter in the bedroom that needs to be repaired....
Perfect price-quality
No welcome: I didn't see the hotel staff once. The wallpaper behind the headboard was moldy so not very hygienic. The bedroom window was VERY dirty. The catastrophic bedding: as soon as you move the bed squeaks so you are woken up every time your partner barely moves, so you haven't slept well and if you want to do something other than sleep, it's difficult to be discreet because of that. squeaks :D No cleaning between 2 nights, don't run out of toilet paper... :) No catering or bar open during our stay, I chose this hotel in particular for the catering, too bad! On the other hand, the hotel is very well located geographically in a quiet village. Ideal for recharging your batteries.

Very warm welcome, friendly and attentive team. I recommend
