A special evening which turned into a banal one because we were not informed of the closure of the gourmet restaurant for organizational reasons of the Brunel group. We had however reserved 2 covers when booking the room. We had to go to dinner in the village. Not very correct that.Big disappointment for us.We had already come twice.This will be the last.Too bad

Charming place, wonderfully decorated where time passes slowly. The welcome and professionalism of the teams is at the level of the quality of this place, beautiful catering, nice service which leaves time to enjoy the moment and which elegantly unfolds the succession of dishes and dishes well highlighted . A somewhat bizarre lighting and electrical outlet activation system. You had to turn it on for the outlets to work. Annoying at night, when you want to plug in devices. No extra pillows offered. Otherwise, the setting was enchanting. The quality of the food was impeccable.

We had for a price of 170 € without breakfast, a room in the annex with an uncleaned bathtub, a broken and non-functional hair dryer, sockets without socket cover, a missing pillow and very outdated plumbing under the basin. dirty with an old rusty iron pan to plug leaks. Also the convenience broom was filthy from our predecessors. The bedroom carpet is stained in multiple places and the bathroom has a number of broken tiles.

Very pleasant experience, especially in terms of catering. A few points for improvement in terms of equipment and reception given the price.

A very family hotel, a very neat decoration, a superb park, a place where life is good! A warm and welcoming staff for whom everything seems easy! The castle is sublime! I recommend !

The castle is located within a large park in the countryside even if the A75 motorway is close by which facilitates excursions. The person in charge of the premises creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You feel perfectly at ease. I was able to run my dog through the park without any problems. The restaurant is located in a cozy and warm room and the dishes served are of excellent quality and at a reasonable price. The menu is renewed every day. My room in the annex was large and comfortable. Silence reigned. In conclusion, my 4-day stay there was excellent.

Orfeuillette We stayed 4 days in the annex of the hotel and were very disappointed with the room which is presented as a 4 star but only has the price. The furniture is basic and out of tune, there is no decoration, the chair, for example, is covered with a canvas "cache misery" (…) Bathroom side nothing extraordinary either, bathroom furniture also basic, the joints of the bathtub are poorly made, there are only two bars of soap available at the start of the stay… As for the bedding, we note a good mattress, unfortunately the pillows are not of the same level… The room is also poorly soundproofed, we hears the neighbors walking, showering (…) We were also awakened by a delivery of goods with a delivery man who crosses the courtyard of the castle with a pallet truck at 3:30 am. Pool side unfortunately the water is cloudy and seems to lack maintenance. Close to the skimmers, a large trap door is open and leaves the filtration piping uncovered. Regarding breakfast, there is a lot of choice, the products are local and of high quality. However, we feel that the service is certainly overwhelmed due to lack of staff. On the restaurant side, we ate very well, good work in the kitchen. The service also a bit long and understaffed to ensure a full room. The gardens are very pleasant to walk through, donkeys are free there and you can enter their park to meet them.

Attention lack of qualified personnel and in sufficient quantity. The same people do everything at the same time: reception, bar service, answering the phone, meal service, etc. This results in fairly long waiting times. Absence of reception staff, you have to wander around the hotel or the restaurant to find someone... On the other hand, nothing to say about the quality of the rooms, the meals, the table service, the setting. Given these explanations, the staff present is to be congratulated a little less on the management of the hotel. A little overpriced Given the previous explanations.

Lovely staff, lovely place. Obviously trying to recover from pandemic so not enough staff.
They are due to take on another chef. Wine was limited to standard or premier but no choice beyond that and all served by glass not bottle. Pool a bit green as not been chlorinated properly. However the owner was charming and I am sure he will turn it around soon but adjust expectations in meantime.

Room in the annex too expensive in relation to the service (noise from the boiler room) and the price of the meal is far too high. On the other hand perfect breakfast

Magical place a pretty little fairy tale castle with nature all around The designer decor adds pep to this very beautiful residence .. on the other hand disappointed by the restaurant which was advertised as gourmet. The household leaves something to be desired dust on the furniture uncleaned bathroom furniture. Very friendly welcome both at the level of the manager and the young intern. But it is still a very pleasant stay.

I'm really sorry to say that, staying in the annex, we're not at all 4-star, if the label is still relevant! So without going into detail, if you are offered the annex, you will be between 3 stars for the bedroom because it is of good size and 2 for the bathroom. What would make us join the clan of 4 stars would be the swimming pool which unfortunately had turned. Trouble and an unmaintained environment. The restaurant hardly saves its price, on the other hand the breakfast is very good; with a few staff (which we know to be difficult at the moment) scrambled or fried eggs would be welcome.

Average rating because on the 1st day, we were given a very average room for the cost of 195eur, (ventilation noise all night, no shower/toilet separation so flooding of the room as soon as you take a shower, no view.. ) after a change of room on the 2nd day everything was perfect: beautiful room, quiet, spacious, clear view... corresponding to our expectations. For the restaurant, everything was very disappointing, especially not worthy of a gourmet table. Breakfast at the top Very good staff

The bathroom needs an update.
The faucets are very old and it is very difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower.

An enchanted mother-daughter parenthesis on the road to our vacation. No false notes, the team is very friendly, the place magical and the dinner, as well as the breakfast, a delight for our taste buds!

There is a glaring lack of personnel. Certainly Covid effect... You can't ask the same person to do everything. The restaurant was closed, we were offered to eat in another restaurant in the group. Good, but it's a shame. We did not have the opportunity to taste the dishes of a starred restaurant. Pool water quality not very clear (cloudy water) Lack of information on the hotel in the room even if we are told everything on arrival.

A magnificent place, a haven of serenity in a luxurious setting. The combination of modern and old is particularly successful. Everything is perfect in every way.

Although the booked room in the castle was not available, we got a nice room in Le Rocher Blanc due to a lack of staff. The food and the service were very good. The cheese trolley in particular was just great. We really enjoyed the stay.

Fabulous setting and location
The staff could not be more helpful ........they were eager to help and always had a smile.....even the donkeys in the paddock offered a friendly greeting !!

We chose this castle for a romantic weekend. A beautiful setting and a very warm welcome.

Very welcoming, friendly and warm. Service level. Didn't have the opportunity to dine at the restaurant because it wasn't open yet, but going to the nearby Rocher Blanc (same Group) was also a pleasure; I recommend without hesitation.

Après une journée de voiture , repos , confort et calme assurés .
Très agréable pour se détendre de nager dans la piscine au grand air .
Sans compter le plaisir d'une promenade dans le parc .
( seul petit inconvénient , le parfum entêtant et malheureusement durable des produits d'entretien )
