Excellent hotel but the people made it for us. They were all so pleasant and welcoming.

Beautiful surroundings and setting, warm welcome. The room is large, but the bathroom and toilet don't live up to the overall quality: the toilet bowl is too small and poorly fixed, constantly moving and not staying in place. The shower screen isn't watertight; water leaks through. However, there is light in the bathroom and entrance.

A wonderful experience, a beautiful place, excellent food... A very pleasant setting surrounded by nature. A lovely break, well deserving of its 4 stars.

The restaurant was very average in terms of food quality, the place wasn't very clean, there were dead plants, and the terrace wasn't comfortable.

Really spacious room, comfortable bed and lovely restaurant. The bathroom is dated and the shower not great, although all very clean.
I loved that it is so dog friendly and you can go for lovely walks in the forest and by the lake, but I found the extra cost for a bit excessive - whether you have one or 2, you need to clean the room more thoroughly, so charging double for it is a lot.

A charming hotel nestled in a verdant setting near the lakes of the Orient Forest. It is therefore a quiet place, perfect for rest and relaxation.

Still as good as ever, but perhaps the "evening stopover" menu could be changed, so it's not the same every time? And perhaps the bathtubs could be replaced with showers, for better water conservation?

The pool being open even in winter is fantastic! The service is excellent!

The location is beautiful, but the bedding and bathroom amenities were disappointing: a faulty shower head, a radiator that didn't heat up, billing issues between the restaurant and the room, separate payment for extras without the option to charge them to the room, and a limited and underwhelming evening meal. It's a shame, as the location is unique but the overall quality is disappointing.

I recommend this establishment for the quality of its welcome and services.

A pleasant stay – the grounds are relaxing. Free parking. Breakfast is good value for money, as is the restaurant. The spa is lovely. Several activities are available on the grounds (golf, table tennis, children's playground, billiards, bar). Located right in the Orient Forest.

This is our second stay, as we find this establishment very pleasant for a short break, with welcoming staff. However, the room cleaning could be improved, particularly the lack of attention to detail, especially considering the swarm of mosquitoes we encountered at dusk (even though we hadn't opened the windows). The water pressure in the shower wasn't great either.

Hello, I booked a hotel room for October 28th and 29th for a business trip. I contacted the hotel the day before to let them know I was traveling with one other person and that I wanted to make a restaurant reservation for two. The receptionist told me she had noted my request for two people, and I then specified that I wanted a table for two in the restaurant. She added that she would put me on hold because she was very busy. She hung up on me. I tried calling back, but after waiting for 11 minutes, I couldn't get through to reception. So I gave up. We arrived yesterday evening around 6:30 pm to check in. I asked to reserve a table for dinner. Nothing had been done when I called. We weren't able to get a table until 9 pm, even though we had just driven for six hours. It's appalling. I am a regular customer of your establishment. Sincerely, Ms. Sandrine Ventre

Charming setting, fabulous family room. We enjoyed the sauna and pool, and dined in a charming atmosphere, finding a good children's menu as well. In my opinion, the pool should be cleaned more thoroughly, and the €17 breakfast price is too high, even for a 12-year-old. Otherwise, an excellent stay; I will definitely return to a Logis hotel!

Everything was very good, it was a shame there wasn't a small fridge in the room.

Very warm welcome. Large room with very comfortable bedding. Too bad there's no desk chair. Impossible to use it, there's just a pouf that's much too low. No power outlets around the bed. Effective air conditioning. Pleasant pool. Cold jacuzzi.

The personnel level is two times engaged, the wireless service is froid and the telephone font is three times, there is no saIS PAS OÙ vous trouvez vos 4 etoiles

Room could benefit from a small kettle for making tea (English) as well as the coffee maker. Long live milk would be nice as well as cream. You will find these in many hotels.

Beware of noise in the rooms on the 1st floor located above the kitchens or the dining room...

Exceptional environment, attentive staff, very good food, but... WC, bathroom from the 70s! The site's commitments were not respected: Dogs charged and menus disappeared, so everything is à la carte.

There were lots of small flies in the bedroom, bathroom and in the restaurant and breakfast room. This was a very unsatisfactory situation.

The room had mosquitoes which weren’t apparent until we were in bed, we both had an awful nights attempted sleep as the mosquitoes attacked us all night and we tried too sleep with pillows on our head because of the noise and irritation they caused, in the morning the bed sheet was covered in our blood from them feeding on us, so unpleasant, my wife even has bites on her face!
It was an expensive nights stay and in my opinion definitely not worth it and if I could have not to paid the full price! We did pay full price and both had a cup of coffee on the hotel!!!
It was a shame as the bar and restaurant were really nice but we would have to think twice before a return visit

Hello, very disappointed by the bar I asked for a gin and tonic and I was charged for a glass of gin and I was charged for a Schweppes I find that unacceptable

This is the fourth time we have come to this hotel! What a disappointment this year!! So many changes! A 4 star hotel that does not accompany its guests to their room! We were given room 212: twin beds separated by a chimney flue! We called reception who took at least 20 minutes to give us another room. The rooms are aging and the bathroom and toilet floors are washed with sticky products. And then the big surprise remains the quality of the catering: nothing like in years gone by! Friday evening: sold out rib of beef, Saturday evening: sold out rib of beef. My husband and our friend decided to have roast chicken/chips: very low-end and tasteless battery chicken! My husband had the same dessert at each meal (semolina cake): 1st time: well presented with fruit, 2nd time: no fruit, 3rd time: a pile...of leftovers? Our friend had a fruit soup, which was just a syrup....without even a fruit. Unthinkable! I'm not talking about the Caesar salad....all very disappointing. The positive: the friendly waiters and the good breakfast. Although we were charged a brunch at €20 on Sunday, without the choice of having a continental breakfast. That was our big disappointment. Too bad, we also liked this place to play golf. So we will look for another address.

We have stayed here many times over the last 20 years. Under the new management the hotel has been well refurbished but has many deficiences. Our TV and A?C did not work but the major problem was the catering. Bar prices were ridiculously high (Euro 14.90 for one large and one small panachet) and the choice and service in the restaurant were very poor. We waited over an hour for our plat to arrive. We will not come back.

We stayed in the Logis Domaine de la Foret d'Orient with our dog on our way to the Alps. We liked it so much that we booked a stay at the same hotel for our return. It was so easy with the dog, and she was allowed in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Location was superb and very quiet so no noise to disturb us or the dog. Only a small issue in that only 1 device can be connected to the WiFi, but got round that by entering more than 1 e-mail address at login.

This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel as a stop over on our way through France.
We cannot fault it, and they are also really dog friendly

Dirty room. Damaged walls and baseboards. Stain on the bed. Itchy skin upon waking in the morning. The air conditioning was extremely noisy all night; we were only informed at checkout that it had a problem and that it needed to be set to 23. We were not told anything upon arrival. The hotel is poorly maintained, particularly the rooms, and does not deserve its 4 stars despite its very pleasant setting. The only positive point was the quality of the food in the restaurant. Brunch was far too expensive for what was offered. We will not be returning.

Overall very disappointing, we are closer to the tourist factory than to the usual conviviality of Logis Hôtel. Very cold and standardized welcome, nothing personalized, we are far from feeling like the expected guest and the family atmosphere of the Logis... Same observation in the restaurant, 2h20 for a main course and a dessert. The tables line up in an industrial atmosphere, yet the staff seems friendly when they finally look up from their tablets.

Good Hotel in a pleasant environment.

The hotel was OK, not very clean and there were lots of mosquitoes in our room. The food was so-so, good menu but not great quality ingredients.

The hotel was acceptable, however the terrace outside needed cleaning .
The food was BLAND to say the least, we were served our main course with a selection of vegetables which were not at all to our tastes, therefore I asked if we could have some chipped potatoes as a replacement, and was told that for 'frites' there was a supplement of 5 euros per personne, I reluctantly took up this option, however, when the frites arrived the half burnt and really not good at all, we therefore left them!!
Also there were 2 large groups outside, and the service did their best, but once the 70 something people arrived we were a bit forgotten.
However I found the service very correct and friendly but slow
Overall the rooms and the quietness are very agreable, however the catering is the weak link.
Breakfast was a shambles with nearly the whole buffet empty when we arrived at 9 o'clock
Globally a little disappointed

I had booked for the wrong date, a night earlier than the evening we arrived. The people at the desk were not interested, didn't offer a room for that night as the were booked they thought, and didn't help us in any way to find another accommodation. We found another Logis Hotel on our phone for that night, but some more service - there were no other people at the front desk during that time - might have helped. Not a welcome we had expected.

Delighted with the location of the hotel surrounded by nature, we have already recommended it to friends!
