Excellent staff. Friendly and welcoming. Extremely helpful overall, and especially with meeting the needs of my disabled travelling companion, despite the inadequacy of the hotel's provision in this respect.
Easily aaccesible from the autoroute.
Very hospitable staff.
Excellant value for miney.
Basic but very clean and comfortable
The bedroom was as clean as it could be, but the decor was outdated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was also
in need of refurbishment, for example the underside of the toilet seat was yellow with age and was quite off-putting. The restaurant was also disappointing, we were told that only the main courses were available, the were no starters or deserts
available.
Great location for motorway and onward travel. Little dated but comfortable, great value for money.
The parking is good and well lit at the front. It’s nice to have an actual person to welcome you even when it’s late. I’ve used your hotel a few times and will continue to do so.
Check in service adequate. To expect one man to act as barman, chef and waiter can only result in poor service.
Great location for Calais ferry terminal, we were going from Dunkirk (only 30 minutes away) but would stay here again, welcoming helpful friendly staff clean comfortable room. Can highly recommend.
a warm welcome with a caring attendant both on arrival and during meals
My experience was very complimentary - highly recommended….. Best value and best locality…. Super easy parking too. No problem
very good renovated hotel, very practical and functional for a weekend stay
Breakfast is good, and the location is very near the Tunnel, but very far from being a Logis Cottage!
Staff were helpful and friendly, but the facilities were very basic and cramped.
Overall, room was over-priced.
Dry good staff
Nice staff, but the walls are very thin and my neighbor was on the phone for a long time at night and I couldn't sleep
One night stay traveling through Europe. Very friendly staff. Good value for money although a bit far away from the city center.
For the price you can't complain, not the most modern but has everything you need, booked for a night before a ferry crossing and slept well, surprised it had tea & coffee in the room, easy access to plugs for charging anything, friendly staff when checking in and leaving, plenty of space in the car park
Clean room, clean sheets - if you just need a room for the night in Calais this is good value for money.
I liked the unusual location, not to far walking from Calais centre.
Very happy with our stay - will be back
Clean and reasonably comfortable. Fine for an overnight stay.
it's my 3rd times to this hotel and I was very shocked this time, it's different Room every time and all dirty, never again, no air-conditioning, in the winter no hot water, even I need hotel every month for my Business, but it's gonna last time I use this hotel
Well... no more 😅
nice budget price hotel. Perfect for an overnight stay when leaving the Shuttle leaving you ready and rested for your onward journey. Food was adequate. The hotel really benefits from the helpful and pleasant staff.
WIFI not working contrary to what the hotel reception tells us. I was able to log in at 10:00 p.m. Tight bathroom. Weird breakfast without a tray to help yourself to, you have to go back and forth 50 times to help yourself. Croissants not cooked, crushed by anything appetizing. Bad coffee in the vending machine.
Most of the time there was only one member of staff available, to book in, serve at the bar, waitress, answer in coming phone calls. washing and drying bar glasses. There was an obvious delay for customers wanting any of these services.
The décor, furnishings have not changed for approximately 30 yrs. Shower dirty with coving falling down.
For a one night stay ideal, good parking food eateries quite near. 10mins to ferry and train
Room dated and in need of upgrading . Bathroom particularly , no anti slip Matt in deep shower tray that required a big step in and out making it dangerous. Thin , worn towels . Shower curtain dirty and soap stained grout .
Excellent location for the tunnel, staff very helpful, food very good and reasonably priced, rooms could do with an upgrade but adequate and clean
Excellent staff, extremely pleasant and very helpful
The lady at reception was amazing, she was so polite and welcoming.
We use this hotel a lot - it is a perfect overnight stop before taking LeShuttle early the next morning.
The rooms are small and basic but perfectly clean and comfortable with everything you need.
Breakfast is good.
Evening meal is average/good
Price is reasonable.
I chose the hotel as a base for exploring the area on my motorbike. I was 2hrs earlier before check in but the lovely lady on reception made me a coffee while I waited. For my room . The room was spot on for my needs . The continental breakfast was lovely and so was the evening meal . The hotel is used as a stop over for travellers heading to the ports but I was more than happy to spend two nights there . All the staff were courteous and nothing was any bother for them . Location was great and within 20 minutes you was in the country side and in easy access to the ww2 sites and the seaside.
lower cost option for a few hours sleep after arriving on ferry
hotel very tired
breakfast very basic.
not worth the 90 plus euros
felt I needed to apologise to my partner
sorry but that's how I saw it
The hotel is pleasant and very good value for money. The room very clean. Kind staff.
The accommodation was possibly the poorest quality that I have encountered for several years.
Rooms not very clean and really drab.
Two of the female staff were extremely rude and argumentative towards us and I was quite shocked at how aggressive they were. (This was witnessed by some other guests)
I would not recommend this establishment based on the my experience.
The €10 breakfast was non-existent. 2 slices of Ham, 4 slices of Salami and a Baguette lying on the table...
I know times are hard but, this was a really poor show by any standards.
Le personnel est sympa, le logement est propre, je suis reparti détendu!
a total disaster i booked a room but for a delay at Dover i went there the day after to re book the room paying a fee , the lady there told me that it was full but the parking outside was empty they have kept my money without giving a service , i would also like to point out that the night before i didn't sleep at all i was on a bike heading to Italy i was tired and exhausted risking to make accidents , and they didn't show comprehension , very disappointed as i was already one of their client previously . total disaster do not get there !
Practical location for a transit stay, with a very good breakfast and pleasant attention. Recommendable!!
This hotel is ok just for stay a night during the travel because is close to the Calais ferry port
Friendly, professional and trained staff. Accommodation clean and good in relation to the price
Good place to stay only 5 mins from the Chunnel terminal
I was very disappointed with the structure, they asked me if I wanted to have dinner and at 20.00 they didn't let me eat because according to them it was late and they already had a group. Note that the hotel is up a lane off any walking services for a single female. In the morning, after missing dinner, I asked for breakfast and no! It wasn't possible because I hadn't booked. I think that if you have a very decentralized structure, flexibility and the possibility of providing a paid service to a hotel guest is essential. You don't send a person to bed without dinner! Maybe offer a frugal sandwich, but above all don't let him leave in the morning without even a cup of coffee! Terrible! Bad service!
|Restaurant not so good as previously
Decent standard hotel, well located not far from the coast, but not easy to find due to road construction. Friendly staff. Decent room. No noise pollution during my stay.
Staff very friendly snd helpful but hotel old & tired, room not very clean though bed was comfortable. In urgent need of refurbishment, the bathroom in particular was terrible.
Noisy hotel room opposite with people who care little about others then snoring in one of the rooms next door. No soap in the shower dispenser, old paper cup in the shower, very slow flow. Curtain rod (thin sheer) that fell in the night while I was sleeping
Excellent hotel, spacious and comfortable room. The advantage is to be close to the beach. And finally, a very warm welcome from the staff.
Okay
Small rooms yet comfortable
We arrived and they lied and told us they'd sent a message to say the family rooms were all gone, which is what we booked and paid for! After alot if moaning, as they wanted to give us 2 separate rooms, separating our family, which was not acceptable, they gave us a room, with a separate room for the kids, which was very very basic, with cold water in the shower. It had a musty old smell about the rooms... This was meant to be a suite?? Awful... Not happy that they lied because obviously they messed up before we arrived, but no email was sent to me whatsoever!
Very good for a stopover in Calais before embarking for England.
Perfect location for tunnel, and a clean spacious room. Staff all delightful.
Excellent value for money 6mins from the station
Needs renovation
Ideal for tunnel
The manager is excellent: innate sense of hospitality and the resolution of small problems
We wanted to use the restaurant and arrived around 17h00, they were unable to offer a place in the restaurant before 21h20
it's a good restaurant, we used it on the way out to England about 2 weeks previously, we had to go to Courte Paille which has since CLOSED.
Only other option nearby is Burger King No Thank you
Near LeShuttle!
Breakfast is over priced
Pleasant staff as well as the room cleaners who were also friendly.
Ok place for overnight stop no problems.
Good location, really good meal in the restaurant.
A super little hotel with an excellent range of facilities. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Pleasant welcome . Was able to help with me request for a room near reception . Able to make hot drinks in my room . Good wifi .
I didn’t realise that breakfastwas included. I think it would be a good idea for reception to inform customers of this when checking in. I didn’t realise this until it too late and because I was waiting for someone to pick me up from the hotel I had to wait in reception therefore had no breakfast .
Easy to reach and affordable hotel. Friendly people and good service.
A pleasant stay
20 minutes walk from the center. Free parking. Decent room; little noise. good bedding. very friendly welcome. We can arrive late. Its an asset
Very good value for money
Excellent, we hope to be back when we have finished our holiday
Wonderful greeting with a genuine smile. Receptionist was lovely. Easy to find, Parking secure, food was very good and the bed was comfy. Best shower I've ever had. Great UK TV channels too. Hard to fault.
As a budget hotel, close to the Tunnel it does the job!.
Lovely made the stay wonderful experience
Very good stay, impeccable welcome as well as the cleanliness of the room and very good breakfast with a lot of choice. I highly recommend
Very attentive staff.
Good meal and breakfast
Parking available
Near motor way and euroty
Disappointed restaurant closed on Monday evenings.
We had to fix the shower head ourselves to make it work
I called to the hotel, because I want an invoice, and man hang up on me. Now he doesn't pick up. I don't know why.
A single person for reception, kitchen (diner!), bar and service with at least 15 hungry guests, an impertinence primarily for the person but also for the guests. But the employee made the best of it and, considering the adverse circumstances, did a great job!
Compared with local rival used the week before, tea making facility yes, but no bottled water, cardboard cups, dog 5euros dearer. However does have a restaurant and we had a good meal.
I noted very disappointing because until past midnight there was a huge racket. People were laughing, talking extremely loudly in the dining room, as well as in the hallway, we were on the ground floor. The doors were slammed shut. We had 800 km of road today and I absolutely did not rest. The soundproofing needs to be reviewed and calm should be demanded after 10 p.m.
Staff very helpful, but room and general fabric of the hotel past it's best. Bed hard and uneven, needed to be replaced.
Reliable. Middle of the road facilities.Welcoming staff.
Condition reflected in the cost of stay. Cannot judge catering as restaurant was completely booked. Not much choice locally for dining.
It feels like 1920s hotels. Mold on the joints in the bathroom, shower curtain (germ nest alert) very old-fashioned. Almost non-existent reception
The decor was tired looking. The ladies on the front desk were very helpful and went the extra mile with us and other clients during the stay.
Basic accommodation but very clean room lovely staff and all you need, fab location from tunnel. No frills but good price.
This is an excellent hotel, highly recommended. Very helpful multilingual staff, the rooms spotless and I had as many free coffees as I wanted. We also got extra pillows for free, which contributed to an excellent night’s sleep. We could open the window at night so the room was nice and cool. There’s extra towels provided and a nice mix of tea and coffee in the room. The location is fantastic, close to Calais ferry terminals and some charming seaside towns like Sangatte. It’s easy to visit the six nuclear reactors at Gravelines too, and we had a five star meal at Les Petits Bouchons, close to the quiet, bunker-studded dunes. We would definitely come back!
Proved to be a good overnight stop - from the Tunnel and ready for our onward lourney to Switzerland the next morning.
Very helpful staff
A good stay before shuttle
For a 1 night stay en-route to the UK it is ideal with easy access from A16 and back for the Eurotunnel.
Welcoming budget hotel. Helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Evening meal lovely. Great position near to the tunnel and ports
This is a good place to stay near the Eurotunnel. No frills but clean comfortable and convenient.
Would like bigger coffee cups!
Very comfortable stay.
Try to find a good clean hotel when you have a pet is always a challenge. The Logis Cottage is all that clean comfortable and very welcoming. No problems would definitely stay here again.
Lovely staff very clean
Very nice staff, private parking, lovely evening meal
We stayed only one night but the hotel was clean, staff was welcoming.
Maybe the breakfast was a bit overpriced for the choice (10 pounds).
It was amazing the fact the hotel was pet friendly as not everyone offer this service for a total good price :)
Definitely recommend
Friendly welcome and good food, at a very reasonable price
Wonderful helpful staff and a delicious meal - steak, and salmon.
Thoroughly recommended.
The room was cold and had to sort heating myself. One set of towels for two people. Bathroom cold no heating. Hot water was available but took some time to run hot, wasteful of water. Toilet flush wobbly took some movement to work. Light in corridor on timer switch clicked off before reaching room every time. Location was good for on off main road and to tunnel. Some restaurants and City Europe near. Apart from the previous ok for nights stay. Other Logis hotels have been better.
We have stayed at the Cottage Hotel, Calais many times and we have always found it to be a comfortable and friendly budget hotel. However, this time the room that we stayed in was in very poor condition. The bedside shelf was broken and sagging down. The material around the edge of the table had come off and would get caught in my clothes as I passed by the table. Also, the lace curtain over the window was no attached to the wall or window and when I tried to open it so see out, it fell off. The headboard of the bed had been replaced, but the wall had not been repainted and still showed the outline of the old headboard.
Hotel rooms need work and a bit more cleaning. Ours had lots of dust under the bed.
Good
Friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean and tidy. It’s a shame the mattress’s were very firm, too much for my liking. Restaurant was excellent.
Comfortable and good value.
I’m not happy with this hotel
The room was smelled of cigarettes it was disgusting I couldn’t sleep I opened the window but still smells of cigarette room 220
Toilet flash was broken I couldn’t flash the toilet
Right side of the bed was broken
Light cable was out not safe
Hull way smell very bad
No drinking water in the room I went to reception asked for water she filled a bottle for me but the bottle was dirty when I wake up I told all this to the man on the reception he told me that I should have told them but I assumed the have checked the room before I going in the room but they haven’t checked it
Breakfast wasn’t that bad a part from boiled egg was very cold again water bottle not clean.
Not use this hotel again very dirty smells very bad looks old
Effort to be made in the bathroom. Only 1 socket in the bedroom, and 1 in the bathroom
The staff was so friendly!
The car park is safe. Very practical for euro tunnel.
It was very basic but that's what I wanted for one night
A lot of waiting despite no one as a customer except me. Breakfast at more than 10€ for frozen pastries .... No comments
Prefect location for what we needed staff extremely helpful and friendly bed comfortable, quiet nights sleep even with being of a fairly busy road.room decor looks a bit dated in places but still all clean only real quibble need bigger cups for coffee and tea ☺️
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for access to the Eurotunnel. Parking was good.
The hotel is very convenient for the Chanel Tunnel and shopping. The menu does not appeal to us, however the restaurant next door is not much better..I prefer not to drive for an evening meal so we have to make compromises.
Hotel generally shabby and outdated
Window in our room on first floor opened fully which is very unsafe as a child could jump/ fall/ climb out
Breakfast very poor value for money at 10 euroes each
Bathroom very small, sliding door outdated, had to switch the light on for the bathroom outside the bathroom which disturbed the other person during the night
Found neither the room or the breakfast to be good value at all and would not stay again and in fact would like a refund
We've stayed here multiple times. Fantastic staff. Always welcome. Breakfast brilliant. Rooms a little dated but great value for money
The rooms are shabby.I didn’t get any sleep due to people shouting, banging doors and moving furniture.I would not stay here again
Exactly what I was looking for.
We only stayed one night arriving late in the evening and leaving very early the next morning for a long journey to Spain...
It was very close to the Ferry at Calais so very handy for a good sleep...
The accomodation was basic and decor dated. Other than that for the price you pay you can't complain. Superb location for traveling to the tunnel supermarket and 25 min walk from Calais centre
Dated, bad smell of drains in room, decor requires updating.
Value for money. Basic hotel that has everything you need for a couple of nights. The rooms are functional and simple, but have everything you need. Even a kettle, if you want. If you value a TV - it's quite small. I don't care, I just want to stay overnight and have a shower. Breakfast was reasonable for the price and usable. Don't expect miracles. Very friendly staff who also speaks English. Perfectly accessible by car and parking space on the fenced premises. Very quiet with the windows closed, no need for residents of other rooms. Gladly again!
Convenient for ferry terminal, accommodation very clean but old.
All three duty managers were great, friendly and accommodating, they are the real credit to you. On the small downside, this the only venue in our week in France that we couldn’t use sans contact
Room door too stiff, TV not connected, WiFi very weak. Breakfast was good and varied.
A very warm welcome from the girl on reception when we arrived who deserves a pay rise. She was very friendly and helpful. Great comfy bed, good shower. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in Calais.
Check in was quick and easy, they accept dogs, and are close to Eurotunnel. Staff was nice.
We use the Cottage Hotel as a regular stop after travelling to or from the Euro tunnel. Excellent location for this. They have a restaurant which offers a limited yet very good evening meal. The room is basic and can be noisy if you have a street facing room but it’s quiet enough as the evening progresses. It’s warm in the summer and you have to make sure f you keep the window open, that your lights are off as mosquitos will come in. The staff are welcoming and attentive.
Great staff very friendly on reception girls always smile and happy best regards from Newcastle Upon tyne. My 2 dogs yorkie was so happy in hotel thank you
Many small details which make a stay more pleasant. The double hinge of the bathroom door, the safety chain on the window, fresh water available in blue glass bottles. Only minus point was that I had to use force and make noise in order to open and shut the warped door to my room.
People were nice and the hotel room was decent for a place to sleep. However, the doors didn't line up properly at all (only takes a few minutes per door to fix) and they stuck. They needed to be slammed just to shut all the way. I felt like I stayed the night in a hotel that has a door slamming competition. It was non-stop from 2200-0200 and I couldn't sleep hardly at all. The prices was good and the needs were nice but the doors need to be fixed.
Il manque juste la Clim dans les chambres avec cette chaleur
Nice place to dwell before sailing over to the uk
Very friendly, close to Eurotunnel, perfect for us
We always stay here on our way on holiday and on return. Our dog is welcome. The staff are lovely xx
Welcoming and helpful staff. Always there to satisfy customers. No hot water at night!!! Or else lukewarm.
A great location for the Tunnel however the walls are paper thin and you can heart everything going on in the adjacent rooms. Our Shower didn't work as the flexible pipe to the shower head was split, the hotel was full and they couldn't move us to another room and they had no spares. So we were unable to shower until another guest had checked out and we could use their bathroom.
The staff however we're very polite and I can't fault them.
Room was fine. No air conditioning which was not a problem
Ok for one night, but very small room, and sometimes noisy at night (doors slamming). Simple but good breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff.
a little old
Nice place to stay one day or two for the trancit.
Staff was very friendly and competent, very good continental breakfast in quality and quantity, menu table d'hote with good local dishes to choose from, a fair wine list, excellent food was prepared for us,. The room was a little small but modern, the bathroom had everything in working order but was a little dated, could to with a refurbish, all around the hotel was very clean.
Very handy for an overnight stop before a channel crossing.
It looked as if the hotel was working on a revival from a run down hotel in the past. The staff did there best to make you feel welcome and very helpful.
Dreadful - rooms were in poor condition, with poor facilities and hadn’t been properly cleaned. Food was poor and largely unavailable. Service, at best average. Sorry - very disappointed. Won’t be returning.
We all stay here enroute to either our skiing or summer holidays. They always make us feel so welcome and allow us to bring our dog with us as well
The staff were great but there is no fan nor air conditioning in the room, it is by a motorway with a prison type fence around it, and could no more be described as a cottage as any motel could.
The water was cold, after a day working, I had to wash using the kettle to boil water.the water was not hot until the following morning.
We chose this property for its situation being close to the Eurotunnel and it’s price. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was good.
Lots of dust on the bedside lamps, had booked 2 twin beds so yes there were 2 box springs 2 mattresses but stuck together with a sheet and a single blanket so we finally slept together, too bad there is no fan in the weather the same, especially since it is still a 3-star hotel, we did not use the wifi, perfect breakfast, perfect welcome apart from one exception, correct overall
Nice overstay.
Room not prépared when we arrived at 15.30.
Room not conformed following our reservation.
We paid for family Room but not exist in that hotel
The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good 👍 but the evening meal poor, all but one item on the menu were unavailable, therefore no choice at all.
As it was a break from driving from Lancashire, England to Soldeu, Andorra I was easy to find from leaving the A20 @ J33 to the Hotel, the room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was very acceptable so will be staying again in January 2023 when we go Skiing again in Soldeu
First disappointment after several stays: reservation not recorded at the hotel despite confirmation by email (fortunately the staff ended up finding a solution); no hot water in the evening; no wifi working upstairs.
Refer to my message in the booking
A basic hotel that does the job. Didn’t eat either dinner or breakfast so only commented on accommodation
Very good value for money and well located. Welcoming staff. Spacious room, comfortable king size bed. Presence of a kettle and a hair dryer. Air conditioning would be a plus in hot weather. Second stay. We will come back with pleasure.
Very basic room but paid for a superior room.
Waited for a very long time before they found a key to the room.
Dull, lifeless room. No electricity to have a shower etc first thing the following morning. Finished breakfast then electricity came back on.
Perfect location for our needs
warm friendly staff, very accommodating (given upstairs room, which they altered upon seeing my walking stick ___ no need to ask).
Comfortable, well-equipped room; very tasty dinner and breakfast. Total recommendation
The hotel was very easy to get to, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and the bed comfortable. The toilet/ shower are was very small which needed a bifold door. The shower was in a type of mini bathtub which made it difficult to get in out of , the toilet paper ran out ad so did the shower soap dispenser which makes me think that they are not always checked..The breakfast was adequate but needed items topping up as the previous guests had used them.
Friendly and efficient staff, room to keep bikes, clean and quiet!
The Cottage is ideally suited for travellers using the Channel Tunnel and car ferries. It's also good value though breakfast is a little dear for light eaters.
A really lovely place to stay on the edge of Chinon
Emplacement idéal près de l'autoroute et non loin de la plage.
Didn't expect too much, just somewhere to put my head down after a long drive and another one the next day.
WiFi was non-existent.
Very convenient and a comfortable place to stay. The male receptionist/ barman in the evening of 5th June 2022, 'Valutie' (?) was very pleasant and helped us with our broken French! The receptionist/ buffet assistant, next morning, worked extremely hard as there were many people booking out whilst she was attending to the buffet.
Staff training required, the front of house staff should have at least some customer experience, your staff were very rude to me and I had to leave very upset, a bad end to a brilliant two weeks in France and Spain.
Very good home. Quiet and well placed hotel. Very good breakfast.
Stayed just for an overnight but found a peaceful hotel with lovely gardens and a very nice breakfast. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy access to a very nice Wok buffet restaurant.
Only downside was the size of the shower.
room was dirty. We did not stay and left as quickly as possible. We only saw and talked to one person.
Brilliant welcoming clean and a very good breakfast
Absolutely horrible experience at this property. Made a booking through booking .com and the hotel manager refused to honour it. Lied to me that he had booked alternate accommodation that was paid for. When I went to the alternate hotel , they refused to honour his transfer 'letter' and I lost out by having to pay euro 51 to login via booking.com and euro 79.90 at the B &B hotel in calais for the same night. logis hotel and booking .com are cheats - watch out!
Nothing to complain about friendly staff clean room parking the little extra the kettle to prepare tea or coffee on arrival I recommend this hotel
Litlle bathroom and thebed was very hard.
Very good continental breakfast. Hotel clean and a good quiet night sleep.
Satisfactory
Good small hotel located within easy reach of Calais center and Cite Eorope.
Good quality cheap hotel. Well placed for Eurotunnel. Friendly staff. Coffeee cree flowing👍
No problems, all as expected.
Understaffed at reception and evening drinks and food. The man appeared very stressed. Bathroom very small.
Good little hotel reasonable price small room but had everything we needed only downside was my bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable but my husbands was ok
For a room costing £50 GBP the hotel itself is fine. Positives: The bed was above average in terms of comfort. Minor disappointments: lack of bedside plug sockets (not overly important, I know) and lack of any soap/shampoo/gel (dispensers empty). Major disappointment: the hotel lists a policy of max 2 pets per room and a charge of 12 Euros PER STAY. I was disappointed that I was charged this PER DOG meaning an extra cost of 24 Euros which is somewhat disproportionate compared with the room cost and also, in my view, without any justification or logic. The room would still have been cleaned the same either way and no service was provided. My booking was then listed as cancelled on Booking.com by the hotel. The cynic in me wonders whether it was an attempt to avoid a less than positive review on that website, but perhaps it was just an error.
A good budget hotel very easy connection for the tunnel parking is free breakfast good choice
Well located. Hearty breakfast with choice and friendly and responsive staff!
Excellent stop off after tunnel it’s very close. Very clean and good value. Restaurant was closed when we arrived but menus looked good.
No hot water for both nights. A poor quality Wi-Fi network preventing it from working properly. Too bad because a high quality welcome
Impossible to have hot water It is inadmissible
Very nice home. Comfortable and warm. Ideal for a stage while waiting for the crossing or descending. Free and secure parking. Good restaurant and bar. We will be back!
We have stayed at the cottage hotel quite a few times over the years and we have always had a warm friendly welcome most of the staff have been there a while so it must be a nice place to work
Katrina the manager Valentin and Sophie make you welcome
It’s the place for us to stay when we are in Calais
Very friendly staff. Just needs more maintenance.
Water boiler broken so no hot water this is essential
Very nice staff.
A warm welcome and it was really the team that made the difference. Special mention to Venlentin and Antoine, and to the staff present during the breakfasts and to the ladies who clean the room. Lots of very nice smiles in this team! For a pro traveler, it's different! Kudos to them! They proudly do their job.
The staff are excellent- warm and welcoming
Excellent and very friendly welcome. To see for the heating of the room the radiators do not heat very well and that of the bathroom does not work.
In need of some TLC
Convenient for channel tunnel
Stayed here many years ago and not much has changed! Staff are friendly and helpful
Comfortable rooms, though noisy despite double glazing if room is on the road side! Shower pressure could b better
We have stayed here many times and are always made welcome. Our dog is welcome here too. Thank you.
An enjoyable overnight stay, staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Close to eurotunnel.
Very satisfied with helpful and polite staff. Location is very good for access to Calais town, and the ferry/Eurotunnel services.
Toute était bien sauf un ou deux choses manquant dans le bar / resto. Bon accueil.
Good establishment, very pleasant welcome
