I stayed at your hotel with 2 dogs, great, but I payed 22€ for the dogs, a water bowl was not even provide which is a shame.

The only issue I had room 100 some one before had smoked heavily in the room spoiling it. I could smell it strong even in the bed. Smoking should be banned completely from hotels. It was very late when I arrived and did not want to make an issue of it. The night staff were excellent, I have stayed here many times.

Our second stay was marred by the fact that there was no hot water at all when we arose at 6.30am until 8.30 am. I ,A’s did others ,report this to the front desk. No apology, no suggestion of a discount. In fact, the water was coming out of the taps, yellow. The man on the desk said’oh’ and that was it. If one is paying for services , then one expects all to function. This let the hotel down,sadly.

When you showed up at the reception to reveal this information, my two colleagues in post immediately suggested that you change rooms.
You told them that it was not necessary.
Be aware that the water system was immediately checked, and it turns out that the hot water was indeed existing in the Hotel.
In fact, during your stay, the activity was quiet and in this type of situation, it is desirable to run the hot water for a few more minutes.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before. Last year the hotel appeared very under staffed and we had a long wait in the restaurant, we assumed this was a one off. However on our most recent stay one person was doing all the hotel jobs (reception, bar, waiter and cook) again and the restaurant only had a very limited 'snack' menu. Having said that the member of staff was very friendly and keen to please, so much so he took my partner into the kitchen to check the steak was cooked to his liking! We hope the hotel can get back to its previous excellent standard.

The young man did wonderfully in his own . Was a bit much to make supper and cover the reception and serve at the bar . Room very tiny but comfortable lovely hot strong shower . Bit tight for my 84 year old mom but had a really good nights sleep . Thanks

goed hotel, erg jammer dat de tv niet werkte ondanks de vele inspanningen van de receptionist die ook monteur, barman en ober was.

we have stayed many times over the years, and now twice in last 2 months. It appears to have gone downhill. Bathroom did not smell clean, daughter room had broken kettle and problem with sink also. Main problem I think was lack of staff on a busy Saturday night. Young man on duty was doing amazing job but too busy for one person.

Bémol : j’avais réservé une chambre familiale à 158€ et on m’a téléphoné 2 jours avant mon séjour pour le dire qu’il y avait eu un bugg avec Booking.com et qu’il n’y avait plus ce genre de chambre . Par contre, on me proposait 2 chambres proches l’une de l’autre. J’ai accepté mais quand j’ai payé à mon départ j’ai constaté qu’on m’avait facturé le prix pour 2 chambres, soit +/- 25 euros de plus. Pourquoi dois-je payer plus cher pour un bugg informatique qui ne le concerne pas ?

Excellent reception staff . We arrived after midnight and there was still some one to greet us . This is a real bonus when you have done a late crossing on the tunnel .

Goede prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding. Mooie centrale ligging. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Het gebouw is wat gedateerd en dat had ik bij voorbaat ook verwacht. Verwachtingen op voorhand zijn waargemaakt. Ontbijt vanaf 6:00 vind ik bijzonder aangenaam zodat ik vroeg op pad kon gaan.

I think £60 was alot to pay for this room compared to other rooms where we paid the amount but the standard was much higher.

We have stayed here may times and for well over 10 years. Breakfast is adequate but is not as varied as when we first started to come. Décor is looking tired too but friendliness of staff is worth coming for and hotel very well situated when coming from England and especially if using for an overnight stay. On this occasion we were here for 4 nights to visit surrounding area and do some shopping.

We booked on line, requesting two ground floor rooms close together due to mobility problems and one room being for children. Despite receiving an acknowledgment, stating that this would be done, on arrival we were allocated one ground floor room and one on the first floor. On complaining, a second room was serviced on the ground floor for us, after waiting about 20 minutes. There was no cook available that evening leading to a restricted menu so we went out to a restaurant for dinner. The rooms were clean but “tired”, as were the bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was sparse and, when food had been taken, customers had to ask for the buffet to be replenished. The two good things about the hotel were the secure parking and the staff, who were friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff, very polite and helpful. Breakfast at the Harvester was ok but on our second morning they said something was wrong with the equipment so no cooked breakfast!

No greeting on arrival, she was serving at the bar. Decor very dark and dated. Beds comfortable. Hallway not vacuumed. Kerb appeal excellent. Free parking good. Breakfast nice but expensive. Paper cups in room!!!!
