Pretty room, beautiful decor but small bed. Average breakfast (butter gone bad) and tables not cleaned. Quality restaurant. Big downside: a foul smell near the entrance: a bin of maggots, very average for a hotel.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting the decor and cleanliness of our rooms as well as the quality of our restaurant. For breakfast, tables are cleaned within a reasonable time after each guest and we trust the work of our employees despite the heavy workload during this busy summer period. However, we will ensure that we improve our organization.
Regarding the trash can mentioned, it is not located near the entrance to our establishment but in the small neighboring parking lot and belongs to the tenants of the adjoining houses. We remain attentive to this point, especially during periods of extreme heat, but its management is in no way the responsibility of the hotel.

The management
Welcoming staff, excellent restaurant. Beautiful characterful house, fully renovated bedroom and bathroom. Quiet location. However, the room is very cramped and above all there is only a curtain that does not block out the outside light. Worse, there is a glass door between the bedroom and the bathroom; in this one there is a window without shutter or curtain, which lets in the daylight that we can see from the room. In July, wake up at 6 a.m.
Beautiful little village full of charm and a perfectly maintained and peaceful 16th-century building. Beautiful authentic breakfast room with a beautiful period fireplace. The welcome is warm and attentive, after a hot day of work, it is a pleasure to enjoy a good meal on a quiet and charming terrace. Air-conditioned room, nicely decorated and very comfortable. I would come back without hesitation.
No parking Impossible to adjust the air conditioning from the room, you have to check with the reception (practical in the middle of the night) As soon as you arrive you must know what time you will have breakfast the next day and above all pay immediately! There is no one in the morning, no one can ask you if it went well, no one inquires if you need anything for breakfast (no salted butter)... We feel that the sooner you leave the better it will be. Too bad

Everything about the hotel is impeccable - the highest quality and service
Very spacious room with many sockets, which is appreciated. Dinner on the terrace was pleasant. Dishes well presented and tasty. Just a little disappointment at breakfast, because of the lack of pastries.
This hotel located in one of the magnificent residences of St Loup sur Thouet has undergone a very high quality renovation mixing modernity and highlighting heritage elements. To recommend !!!!
We received an excellent welcome from the staff and Nadège the manager. The hotel is superbly decorated in an old building with a magnificent stone staircase. All spaces are clean, refined, elegant and beautifully maintained. Quiet place in a pretty village. Unfortunately we were unable to dine at the restaurant as we were guests at another location. The breakfast is generous with excellent pastries.
