Disappointed that the restaurant was closed on a Monday. We had requested a table for 19.30 when we booked, they did not get back to us to say it would be closed.
Nickel
At the hotel level, the room (PRM) is of sufficient size to accommodate a person in a wheelchair. The bedding is quality and very comfortable, and in the bathroom/WC, nothing is missing. We appreciated the night lights for reading without bothering the partner, unlike the bedside lamps with 40W bulbs that we find too often! Unfortunately the view, on one of the establishment's roofs, is not bucolic, but you can't have everything!

No air conditioning, 40 degrees in the rooms. At the opening of the window, noises because of the air conditioning of the restaurant! No bottle of water, no kettle for tea, no fridge, hard mattress, cockroach…. No more than less, avoid!

Disappointing! On the site we are promised a good hotel with a quality restaurant. Upon arriving the restaurant was closed for the whole month and there were renovations. The bathroom fan was not working. Our room on the third floor was very far from the fire escape.

Reception of the staff: very charming Cleanliness of the room: impeccable Evening meal: good! Italian salad good but we can regret the lack of ham. The cheese plate: the quantity is very disappointing Vs the asking price. About 60gr of cheese divided into three small pieces ... that makes cheese very expensive per kilo. Price of the plate €10.50. Which raises the price of the cheese to €175/kg even if the taste was there. It's overpriced! I explained it (in private) with the manager of the hotel this morning and she recognizes that it is not normal and will report the information to whom it may concern. Dessert: a simple sorbet with marinated red fruits... A refreshing delight! Breakfast: Good value for money Hotel parking: Access quite complicated but the price is very reasonable.

Hats off to the quality of the welcome and service. The possibility of having a quality meal tray with an interlocutor present at the reception at 11 p.m. is very significant
Too bad the rooms are not air conditioned
The rooms are very small and the floor creaks with every step so you can hear a lot of guests in the rooms above. Everything is very clean. The bedding is comfortable. The restoration on the brasserie side is correct, nothing more. The employees are friendly.

The hotel is well located, near the old town, easy to park the vehicle. Despite the station next door, we did not hear the trains. The room is correct, the aging style but value for money for a family room of 4 is very correct. You can also eat on the spot, during a stopover it is very practical.

it is a hotel that I would not recommend for the following reasons: first of all the price of the room is much too high for the level of service, especially in a city like Montluçon which is not a capital, the room is tiny and, by bad luck on the day of our visit, the temperature in the room was unbearable, a tiny window and a fan could not solve the problem, the maintenance leaves something to be desired, the spotlight in the entrance does not was not working, of the 2 spotlights above the sink only one was working and the other was flashing, but the worst is a hygiene problem: the bathroom bin was almost full, which means that it had no must not have been emptied for several days.
