    The booking confirmation submitted to the customer implies this latter's compliance with the booking, amendment and cancellation terms.

    BOOKING TERMS : In order to guarantee the booking, customers are asked to supply their bank card number, details of which are communicated in secure mode. The customer's bank card will not be debited by the hotelier, except in case of amendment/late cancellation or customer no-show (see paragraph on 'Amendment', 'Cancellation terms'; and 'No-show';).

    The entire stay (including any services, taxes and extras) are payable directly on site to the hotelier.

    Some establishments request the payment of a deposit or down-payment in order to guarantee the booking. The booking centre has no hand in these special terms and the transaction should take place between the hotel and the customer. The amount and terms governing the payment of said deposit should be clearly explained to the customer by the hotel and should be agreed by the customer prior to any transaction. These exchanges should take place exclusively in writing.

    In case of payment of a deposit or down-payment, bookings shall only become firm and final on the hotelier's receipt of said payment. The balance of the booking shall be paid directly on site to the hotelier.

    Depending on the particular operation of each hotel, customers are asked to arrive before 6 p.m. and to notify the hotel in case of any delays.

    Special offers or packages: Some special offers or packages provided by the hotels via Relais du Silence are subject to special terms and conditions of sale (pre-payment, non-modifiable, non-refundable, etc. …). The terms governing each offer are specified on the Relais du Silence web site. Where an offer does not comprise any special booking terms, the general terms and conditions of sale of the Relais du Silence network shall apply.

    AMENDMENT TO BOOKINGS:

    Up to 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, amendments to bookings may be made free of charge. Beyond this timeframe, the hotel reserves the right to disregard the amendment at the time of billing for its services.

    Cancellation conditions

    CANCELLATION POLICY :

    For bookings confirmed as firm and guaranteed by bank card, the cancellation terms are as follows:

    - For all stays of 3 nights or less, the amount due by the customer shall correspond to 75% of the stay (including all services) should the cancellation be made within 72 hours of the holiday start date.

    - For all stays of more than 3 nights, the advance notice required for notification of cancellation without incurring a charge is 14 days at least prior to the date of arrival. Cancellations made after this timeframe shall incur charges as follows:

    o 13 to 7 days: first overnight stay
    o 7 days to date of arrival: 100% of overnight stays (limited to a maximum of 5 overnight stays).

    In the case of bookings guaranteed by deposit or down-payment, irrespective of the cancellation date, the decision to refund of all or part of the sum paid by the customer is left to the hotelier's discretion. The hotel will have notified the customer in advance of the terms regarding this point.

    In cases of force majeure, hoteliers may disregard minimum amendment or cancellation deadlines and may not apply penalties. In such cases, they are entitled to ask the customer for proof supporting the case of force majeure.

    Any amendments to or cancellations of bookings must be made with the Relais du Silence booking centre during its opening times (Monday to Friday 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.) by one of the following means:
