Although I arrived very late on a Saturday evening, I was very warmly welcomed with a dinner waiting for me and a smile! Similarly, on Sunday morning, having to leave early, I was able to have breakfast 30 minutes before opening time.
Very professional, pleasant and friendly staff.
We took a getaway offered as a gift with a Smartbox gourmet stay at a castle; I would not recommend this type of gift box.

A beautiful, authentic hotel with stunning green grounds and lush vegetation! The room was spacious, with minimalist, understated yet comfortable decor. The soundproofing was insufficient, so you could definitely hear your neighbors 😉 The food was good quality, but the prices were a bit high, especially for drinks… The staff was professional and friendly. Overall, a good experience!

Beautiful green park, authentic hotel, decent but not exceptional food, lovely setting with a magnificent fireplace in the restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. It's a shame the superior room is upstairs; there's a lack of lighting in the bathroom. In short, we had a pleasant stay.
The decor is dated, and I would have liked a bit more heating in the room. The drinks are really overpriced; €9.50 for a bottle of sparkling water is outrageous. On the other hand, the food is good, and the hotel isn't far from the sea. A quick note for the housekeeping staff: please clean the TV remote regularly; the one in my room was in a terrible state.
Very pleasant staff, cleanliness, delicious meals, excellent breakfast, ideal location. However, the bedding was average, there was a noisy electric motor nearby (not belonging to the hotel), and internet access was inconvenient.
Impossible to sleep, engine noise all night. When leaving, the receptionist picked the wrong form and insisted on charging me for extra things. When he realized his mistake, not even a word of apology.

The 3-star rating has faded over the years. The TV was the size of a computer screen, and only one tea bag and one coffee bag were provided. The kettle wasn't connected because the electrical outlets weren't designed for it. The bathroom radiator was right next to the toilet, resulting in urine splashes on it. I called reception because I couldn't access the parking lot at 10:30 PM, and the response was more than questionable: basically, I was told to park wherever I could. Breakfast costs €20! For €9, some hotel chains offer twice the quality and quantity.

We were astonished by the lack of cleanliness in the spa area. Stagnant water on the edges of the jacuzzi caused visible dirt and mold, which hadn't been cleaned. We also noticed hair on the edges, in addition to the grime. The water from the spa kettle was undrinkable! When the water was poured into a cup, lots of white bits (mold or limescale) fell in with it! This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. It's also unacceptable to offer and perform beauty treatments while wearing jeans—quite shocking and unprofessional. For the price of an overnight stay, offering supermarket Lipton tea in the room is simply unacceptable.
An authentic hotel steeped in history in a bucolic setting. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The restaurant's regional cuisine is delicious. We had a wonderful weekend.

Reception was very reserved, the room was well-equipped but lacking in detail (non-working lights, poorly functioning hot water in the shower, far too small a toilet...). The room was okay, but the price-performance ratio was simply not right. Breakfast was expensive and absolutely average (bad coffee from the machine, tasteless croissants), not worthy of a hotel of this kind. The service staff, however, was very friendly!
Unpleasant welcome. One of the worst rooms in my travel life. The door wouldn't even open completely; it hit the nightstand. The hostess at breakfast was very professional and had a kind word for every guest.
Bed unworthy of a hotel, a board and a 10 cm mattress, it was more of a straw mattress. I don't understand why we offer such bedding, no box spring, a dream.
Clean but cramped room, old and poor quality bedding, outdated furniture, TV placed on a wardrobe, electrical outlets out of order, bathtub inspection hatch open. Meal supposedly gourmet, very poor quality. The glass offered as compensation for a dish with too much pepper, was never more than a simple sparkling wine and did not make up for our disappointment in front of a €39 menu not even worthy of a brasserie. Only the breakfast was decent.
Cozy hotel but needs renovation/maintenance
The meal was not up to the price: crunchy salad because it was not cleaned enough according to me, and whole whiting meunière style without much taste interest.. The bedding was very good but the walls were not thick enough, forced to wait for the neighbors to fall asleep and stop talking as if they were deaf.. Cider coming from Brittany is in my opinion a bad taste when you are from Normandy. In short, I expected much better, because the hotel is listed as a Logis.. which shows that it is always better to take a look at the comments left by travelers before venturing out with your eyes closed ;)
The building has a lot of charm. The setting is green and very pleasant. The terrace is very pleasant for dinner.
We stopped one night at this hotel on our way to Belgium. The hotel has a quaint setting, very friendly staff, and a small but charming room. It's a shame about the poor soundproofing (we could hear our neighbors snoring!). The garden is beautiful, and dining under the apple tree was fantastic. Excellent food. Close to a lovely beach.

They walked away with my Kids to the room, while i was on the toilet, the room was quite fine for the price and the Restaurant was also very good. All in all i would say the Stay was good, but for it to be very good i would like to have more and a better Customer Service.

The hotel is very charming and ideally located, with perfectly maintained gardens that make the setting truly pleasant. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired and the quality of service is not up to scratch. With the exception of the lady who takes care of breakfast – absolutely adorable and attentive – the rest of the staff is quite cold, even unpleasant. When we arrived, I took photos of the condition of the room: the bathroom door was broken, the wardrobes were very dirty, and the bathroom lamps too. For a hotel of this standing, this is really disappointing. In addition, the restaurant menu is very expensive for the quality of the products offered, which reinforces the feeling of poor value for money. It's a shame, because with better maintenance of the rooms, a warmer welcome, and cuisine more consistent with the prices, this hotel could be truly perfect.
Shabby hotel, invasion of hundreds of flying ants in the room, the haughty manager minimizes the facts, waiting on the terrace in the dark to try to put us in a room half the size where we had to get back on the road, our 2 and a half year old little girl had to suffer the same fate!!! The ant problem had already been reported, the problem was supposedly supposed to be resolved but they put us in the room without saying anything and we suffered the horror when we returned in the evening in the room! This haughty manager does not question anything, he makes fun of us, does not even apologize for the inconvenience!!!!! He throws his arms in the air!!! Does not listen......the rooms are already very basic, he sells dreams!!!! I do not understand how people can like it!!! He FT know that this room with its nest of flying ants that get everywhere in your things, your bedding... was re-let the same evening to someone else!!!! My heart ached for these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The room facilities are very low-end compared to the establishment. The price of breakfast at €19 is excessive compared to the quality and diversity of the buffet. And let's not talk about the evening meal, which was flavorless and had cooking problems.
The hotel is unusual and very pretty. It seems very spacious. We had a room upstairs with no neighbors, which is great when you have young children, and there was also a separate bedroom. It's on a very quiet street. We slept very well there.
I find the price of breakfast too high compared to what's on offer! Paying 19 euros for a baguette from the day before, admittedly reheated, and not a single cheese in Normandy! The buffet was really lacking in freshness.

We were lucky enough to stay in a beautiful family room, located on the first floor, with direct access to the garden, which was particularly pleasant. However, one point of improvement concerns breakfast. For a rate of 19 euros per person, we expected a more qualitative and varied offer. For this price range, the selection of products was limited expected quality; In summary, an overall satisfactory stay, with comfortable accommodation, but a breakfast experience below expectations.
Hello, I booked this spa hotel based on the rating on your website. What a disappointment. Upon arrival, the garden was not maintained (brambles, untrimmed hedge, weeds, etc.). The stairs to the upper floor were dangerous. The room was partly clean, the bathroom ventilation duct was full of dust. The desk was wobbly and ready to fall, the first thing that was installed by an amateur, the curtain didn't block out the light, the TV didn't have channels 1, 2, and 3, and the Canal+ wasn't connected. The breakfast wasn't up to the price (€19). I've had better for less at Ibis. When it came to paying, there was a lot of pressure to round up the amount to include a tip for the staff. We should have relied on the external review rather than the one on your website. Lots of fake reviews, systematically a bad review with a bad rating, countered by an excellent review with a rating of 10/10. It's a shame because the location is prime, the building is typical of the region, and there is only one competitor on site. For our next stay, I would choose another location. It would be helpful if your quality team could come anonymously for an audit of this establishment. I will strongly advise against this hotel in my personal and professional circles. Quiet, clean, it's a shame that the WIFI doesn't work and that no one is able to turn it back on. For a business trip I would have changed hotels.
This place has been around for a very long time. For me it was a childhood dream, my grandparents lived across the street from this hostel. This place is magnificent, calming and the house is so beautiful. I recommend this place and hope to return there on a future stay.

This is the second time we have been here and it is always a very warm welcome. The best thing is the spa and the restaurant in the same place.

Our stay went pretty well overall despite the very old accommodation but it was comfortable overall. Just very disappointed with the receptionist who was very unpleasant and dishonest and who refused to take my logis points in full, saying that she didn't have time for that, so very disappointed on this point. I pay contributions every year, it's not to take advantage of them and in the end they refused them at the end of my stay and made me pay everything without accepting all my logis points.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden and typical buildings. The premises are dated with a very steep staircase leading to the upper floor, a room in need of updating, and an exorbitant price.
Based on the information gathered on the site we booked this hotel because the restaurant was open on Sunday evening. Astonishment on arrival, this is the first thing we were told: restaurant closed this evening. I find this distressing and totally lacking in professionalism. Furthermore, the photos do not correspond to reality.

Never seen such a small bathroom. Not even a possibility to put down any of your products unless on the toilet lid. The room was not, as mentioned, on the side of the garden. The buffet was not worth 12 euros but cost 19 euros. Quite an intrusive way to give the staff an extra.

The welcome is far from warm, and it's a shame. "Economy" room so we forget to dust? The used soap from the last people is still present in the shower. The SPA remains very mediocre, size 40 flip-flops for a size 45 man... the cleanliness of the jacuzzi needs to be reviewed. Very simple hotel, we expected better. It's a shame..!
Sadly there was no one at the hotel to communicate fluently in English and my French is not brilliant. We had to return home early and cut short our stay by one night, with no refund available. As disabled pensioners of 72 & 73 we were shown to a room where it was necessary to negotiate many steep stairs causing difficulties for my wife who has COPD. No alternative was offered when it was fairly obvious we were struggling. The room was small, including the shower and toilet, with low power in the shower. It was dusty and required a serious update. We decided to eat in the restaurant and were served with an entrcote steak that was 'crusty' and charred and a veal dish that seemed to have been microwaved, both were greasy and cost 50 Euros for the two, which we thought was way overpriced. The whole place was tired and outdated, but the steps to our accommodation were a real challenge to us. We will not return and, one night cost us about 280 euros - very disappointing.

Very friendly welcome, catering to discover
We spent 2 nights in this hotel. We had taken a standard room at 129€ per night. The room was ok but the bedding is very soft, but the worst is the very small bathroom especially the shower, large people should abstain. When we reported it, the owner told us that we only had to take a room in the range above. I did not know that for 129€ we had a bathroom barely bigger than a toilet. Now the restaurant. When we arrived we booked for the 2 evenings. The service is very slow, and we had to ask for a forgotten coke (with a comment in return), forgotten knives and salt and pepper (only our table did not have any). We had lamb chops: inedible only bone and nerve, the potatoes that accompanied them were in the same case. We reported it, out of 3 servers, 2 were more than skeptical and another told us that this could happen and that she would note it on our profile. For dessert, the crème brûlées were liquid. Needless to say, we cancelled the reservation for dinner the next day. We met a local resident who told us that he no longer frequented this restaurant, which used to be good but had gone downhill a lot. Furthermore, when we arrived, the very friendly receptionist was in a mess, people who had booked 2 rooms only had one and the hotel was full so there was no possibility of having another one. Another couple we spoke to also told us that their reservation had not been recorded. What a mess. And when it came time to pay the bill, despite the comments about the meal (noted by one of the waitresses), not a single commercial gesture. Ah, don't think you're staying in the beautiful hotel pictured on the site, in fact there are several very ugly buildings that are difficult to access (many stairs, poorly maintained paths)

Hotel spread across 3 typical buildings. Nothing to do with the sanitized side of modern hotels. Lots of charm with its advantages and disadvantages. You don't make new in old so the floors creak a little, for example. Very good food and very friendly staff. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if a future getaway brought us back there.
Hotel to avoid. Has nothing of 3 stars big scam. Dishonest boss made us pay in addition to the reservation already debited on our arrival before giving the key. Hotel to absolutely avoid. We booked for five days and left after two days. The garden alone is worth the detour for a few moments.
Overall everything was good to very good. It might be wise to interpret the choice of rooms differently. My husband didn't pay attention, he chose a family room for 2 people. When we saw our room, we had our bed plus two other beds. Of course we paid the family room price. Simpler, put a room for 2 people, 3 people, six people with shower, with bath. Finally distraction on our part too but... Old-fashioned bathroom, bath and shower screen, and be careful to access the bathroom, when you wake up in the middle of the night, you find yourself walking

Although there are no ground floor rooms at this hotel the staff were so helpful in arranging a room with easiest access. Everything else was top notch. The food is first class, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Five 🌟 to the staff.
