Arrived on business on Sunday, everything was closed. I had an entry code and the key was nailed to a nail in the hallway. No breakfast.
We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent – go there without hesitation!
My room smelled musty and there was mold on the walls and curtains. Room 9 should be avoided.

The hotel is dilapidated, the reception area and room were in a terrible state. The carpet and wall paint were dirty, the faucets needed replacing, and there was no soap in the shower cubicle, which had moldy corners. We were asked to change rooms, and there was no extra charge. The receptionist was very friendly, which was the only positive point! Avoid at all costs.

The receptionist is very friendly, but the rooms and bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh. The bedding is good, but the room is old-fashioned! Perfect location for visiting Lisieux, and free parking is available nearby on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
I had a great stay at the Hotel La Coupe d'Or in Lisieux. The location is ideal: located on the market square, right in the city center (1-2 minutes walk from all amenities) and about a 15-minute walk from the basilica. The breakfast is generous and varied, and the staff is really very friendly. I really loved the dinner at the restaurant: homemade dishes, very good value for money (starter, main course, dessert menu for a very reasonable price). The room was clean, comfortable, and true to the photos. It's not a 5-star hotel, but everything perfectly met my expectations. In summary: a very good stay, I recommend it without hesitation!

There's good potential here for remodeling. The staff are smiling and pleasant, very attentive and completely at your service. We also enjoyed the restaurant service. The food was very good, as was the breakfast; I recommend this restaurant. Regarding the quality of the room we were given, there's a lot to improve. The biggest problem is the bathroom, which was clearly designed by a complete amateur. It's a bathroom with a ventilation system that should start as soon as you open the door or turn on the light, but it doesn't work at all. Shower water and ambient humidity seep through the grout in the poorly installed tiles, which were fitted with adhesive suitable for humid environments. The silicone sealant is nearly 1.5 cm thick, demonstrating a significant amount of shoddy workmanship. Adding to this, the partition wall between the bedroom and bathroom, along with the door leading into the room, absorbs moisture, making the door swollen and very difficult to close. And yet, the building itself isn't particularly old; it likely dates back to the post-World War II reconstruction period (1948-1950). Hopefully, this is the only bathroom in this condition. I advise the owner to act quickly; without a positive response, he is slowly deteriorating the property, which deserves more attention. The constant humidity will eventually trigger a multitude of problems in the near future. Otherwise, the location is ideal, and the bedding is comfortable. The sink has micro-cracks.

good choice like when I was been in Montargis there was 2 years, that's why I booked the hotel without hezitation. just the equipment of Lisieux starts to be old, certain needs to be renew soon.
The hotel is very well located. The food was excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied. It's a shame about the state of the bathroom. It's outdated and the shower is difficult to access. This is the only reason we wouldn't recommend the hotel.
There was no air conditioning, but the bed was comfortable and we sleep soundly with the windows open. Weak WiFi. Our TV had sound, but no picture.

The address is poorly referenced in the email and sends about thirty meters. When I entered the room, I felt the heat and a smell of food. When I opened the window, I must have been above the kitchen. But that's not all: the QR code allowing you to have information about the hotel takes you to a site that doesn't inspire confidence, the bed creaked, the window is a little difficult to close, the toilet tends to leak, the bathroom has mold stains all around and in the shower, one of the restaurant servers is quite dry and the breakfast is average.
The staff were friendly, but the parking space promised in writing wasn't available. It was noisy at night, but the breakfast was excellent.

I've stayed in several hotels, but I highly recommend this one. The welcome and staff are fantastic, the restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the breakfast is plentiful – nothing is missing. The manager is great.
