A charming, old-fashioned, retro hotel with a very clean bedding and bathroom, and a lovely welcome tray. Breakfast was excellent, featuring quality products (e.g., AOC butter and good-brand jam). We stayed one night and it was very pleasant. The owners were very courteous.

Everything was perfect: the welcome, the rooms, and the meal. We will definitely return to this establishment!

A pleasant hotel in a charming old house near the center of Tournon. Comfortable bedding. Very good value for money. Breakfast served with excellent products. The only slight drawback, but related to the building's structural limitations, is that the shower cubicle is a bit small.

Traditional old-style logis, food in restaurant was excellent - home cooked traditional like 30-40 years ago -everything tasted superb. If only there were more logis restaurants like this. Forgotten skills

We had a wonderful experience. The building dates back to 1800, and you can just feel the antiquity. Regarding noise, the hotel is located on a busy street; it's helpful to close the shutters and windows so you're barely bothered by the traffic. The room is very spacious, and the beds are comfortable.

This is a very nice establishment. A few updates here and there would be a plus. E.g., hiding the plumbing pipes in the bathroom. Installing air conditioning. Other than that, we had a good night's sleep because the bedding was very good. We enjoyed ourselves at the hotel's restaurant in the evening.

A stopover hotel "in its own juice" like when I traveled around France with my parents, and that was not to displease me. You are accompanied to your room by carrying your suitcase, this is something that has become very rare even in high-end! Unfortunately, it seems that the operators are a little "at the end of their rope" and it shows: first generation economical lighting giving a cold neon-style lighting in the dining rooms, generous but rather basic cuisine, decent but unenthusiastic service, obligation to pay the evening before because there is no human presence in the morning at the reception (even though it is in the same room as breakfast), and at breakfast: imposed orange juice, industrial jam and chocolate, pre-packaged madeleine, no ham or cheese (and the fact of asking for some was not well received)... Too bad.

A very pleasant stay even if the establishment is a little dated, which also adds to its charm. I think it's a couple of managers who strive to satisfy customers at all times. Barely arrived in the middle of the afternoon, Monsieur accompanied us to the room carrying our suitcase and to see if the proposed accommodation suited us. On his suggestion, we reserved a table for dinner. He is in the kitchen and Madame is in the dining room. Smile, kindness, efficiency, generosity, this is France at work. Here are two people who start their day to serve breakfast to customers and finish it once the dining room has emptied. Thank you for your welcome, your kindness, your kindness. The food is excellent, delicious. I tried the fish soup twice and enjoyed it both evenings. Dishes served piping hot, tasty, well presented. Friendly atmosphere. We really appreciated it. Bravo and thank you.

We came for two nights and only tried the hotel services. A charming, comfortable establishment that nevertheless deserves a good refresh without compromising comfort.

Staying on a Sunday in February there were not too many people, it was quiet, comfortable and very pleasant. I book this hotel very well located in Tournon, not too far from the motorway. The 'Formules' remain unchanged in the restaurant with a very good quality/price ratio. The 'French' breakfast is very generous, although not continental (no yoghurts, cold meats, eggs). Note that it was a little warm in the room, perhaps it would be optimal to be able to lower the temperature....

Friendly welcome and good home-cooked food

We arrived a little late, but we were given a very friendly welcome and were able to enjoy a very good dinner without hurrying. The foie grasse is unique, very delicious. The venison goulash and the beef fillet with morels are also highly recommended. The French cooking is still perfect here! The rooms are very well maintained and clean. This hotel offers a lot of nostalgia, as was standard in France in the past.

It is not a modern building, but the welcome is friendly and the rooms are spacious. There are more modern ones, certainly, but personally I slept very well there and was able to work on a spacious desk.

The Hotel is equipped with Stop-Over overload. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße, aber auf Grund der modernen Fenster drang kein Straßenlärm zu uns herauf. Der Aufenthalt mit 2 kleinen Hunden war auch kein Problem. Der Zugang zur Zimmeretage erfolgt über eine enge, steile Treppe. Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität könnten hier Probleme bekommen. The menu includes some dishes and some gut ingredients. If you don't have enough food and you don't have any Stop-Over results :-)

Very well located on the docks

We liked it very much. The room was a bit old, but very clean. The location is great, the dinner was delicious and the breakfast was also very good. The landlady was very nice! We are happy to have found this hotel. We were passing through and would stop here again. Very good value for money. Jutta and Steffen Dietrich

Oldfashioned but in an excellent way

Hotel to avoid, very small shower, small bed, you sleep on the springs, room not clean, empty shower products and no more toilet jammer, very thin walls, everything is in its original condition

Traditionelles Hotel + Restaurant, etwas altmodisch, aber sehr schönes Zimmer, alles da was man braucht. Einchecken um 13 h konnte auf Nachfrage bewerkstelligt werden. (Ja, es ist etwas laut in der Nacht, aber was kann man mitten in der Stadt erwarten). Parken geht vis-a-vis im Park und ist schattig. Fußgängerbrücke nach Tain l´Hermitage 1 min. entfernt.
Restaurant hat sehr gute traditionelle Küche ... alles ohne schnick-schnack, aber es schmeckt. Nette Bedienung.
Viel Hotel-Restaurant um relativ wenig Geld.

The people were lovely, the room very clean and well prepared with tea and coffee making facilities, nice towels and a good bed too. The hotel is an old house in this historic town so you will find more of a retro atmosphere than pink neon lights, and that's nice. No lounge for guests, but a nice terrace.

As there is no air conditioning and you can't leave the windows open at night since the rooms overlook the main road of the city, you should think about fans a little more powerful than the existing one. OK hotel, way too hot. Lack of air conditioning for the sun side rooms. Impossible to sleep with the windows open due to road noise.

We found free parking right across the street. We were greeted by the proprietor who offered to assist us with our bags. He took us to our single room but upon discovery of some malfunctioning lights, he immediately upgraded us to a much larger room with two beds. His wife served us at dinner in their excellent, modest little restaurant overlooking the river and magnificent hill of Hermitage. Meals were good and service very polite and attentive. Check out was seamless.

Good welcome, dinner adapted this week, for the Ardéchoise cyclists. Classic breakfast, very good. Room overlooking the main street, a little noisy, still pleasant. It's a shame that there isn't a magnetic badge door for entry after 10 p.m., because I had to come down and open the door quite late.

Hotel in its original state but clean. Bathroom with tiny shower cubicle. No soundproofing. Staff who speak loudly in front of the rooms and vacuum at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays and who knock on your door at 10 a.m. to make you leave. This is just unacceptable for a hotel.

Pleasant hotel and friendly welcome. Close to shops including the market on Saturdays on the quay and another (producers) also on Saturdays in the center.

My friends (not me, I just made the reservation for my 2 friends), they stayed 2 nights in this hotel, the day of check out, while waiting in the reception (before 10:00) the manager asked them to go out (it was raining out) to wait and the hotel is under cleaning hour!! This is not professional work, guest must have the right to stay in the reception!!
