We had booked a superior room for a 4 night stay. Top floor, no 17.
It was dark, small window, stains on carpet, very poor lighting, which didn’t help the darkness of the room, and chipped surface around sink area. A superior room it was not!!!!!
We decided to stay as only going to sleep there. At 12.30, 2.00 and 4.30 people were coming and going making a lot of noise. We had tried putting the heating on and radiator was making noise all night, but no heat!!! At 6.30 lots of banging from radiator.
Breakfast very poor.
We decided we couldn’t stay another night, so said we were leaving and would pay for the one night and breakfast. Because we had booked four nights we had to pay for the four.
We moved to a lovely apartment over looking the river, with heating.
We travel a lot and know it’s not always going to be perfect, but I can honestly say, this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in,
and do not understand other people’s comments!!!

Very welcoming and friendly staff The room could do with a lick of paint: stained carpet, peeling paint... The toilet in the bathroom was not easy to access (you have to open the door, then close the door before you can go through). The toilet paper in "industrial" format looks more like a motorway rest area than a hotel. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning.
