No complaints about the quality of the facilities, the comfort of the room, or the good value for money offered as part of the overnight package. Regarding the restaurant, it was a pleasant surprise for a set menu included in the overnight package: a generous and complete meal, beautifully set tables, and excellent service. However, if I weren't a hotel guest and therefore not on the overnight package, I think the quality, considering the prices, could be improved, particularly the cooking (my chicken was very dry and the dessert was barely defrosted).

Everything suits us.
We always enjoy staying at this hotel on our way to Normandy. It's easily accessible, near the A19 motorway. Our dogs are always welcome. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The restaurant is also highly recommended. We'd love to come back and would happily recommend this hotel.

Second experience at your establishment. We had two rooms. There were issues with the toilet flush, the hot water wasn't always hot, and the seals were poor. The restaurant offered very average value for money. My portion was frankly very small!
The charging station isn't working. A big problem for electric cars in this area. No charging available. Yet I specifically asked.

And wines that are good, perfectly selected, capable of delighting the non-connoisseur as well as the enlightened amateur that I am, and at a price that couldn't be more reasonable. Frankly, I didn't expect that when I came to this accommodation that I had chosen because it was halfway along my journey, hats off to you ladies and gentlemen. We want to come back to you.

Room with comfortable bed, overlooking very pleasant greenery....downside bathroom a little cramped but up to date, the shower rather slippery for the exit a little high, I would have appreciated a handle for more safety and security. Restaurant decor and pleasant room, friendly staff but service too long, for me à la carte very good fish excellent dish but not convinced by the revisited tarte tatin, not too much cold taste and lacking flavor.

Unbeatable value for money!
Upon arrival, no one greeted us at reception. The room was clean, but the bathroom was in very poor condition. The restaurant meal was mediocre: lukewarm starter, small portions, and we had to cry to get a second piece of bread. We arrived at 8:45 for breakfast, there was almost nothing left and the tables hadn't been cleaned.

Solid accommodation with parking right outside, its own excellent restaurant, and close to the highway. No problems with the dog, and the food in the restaurant is truly delicious. Good value for money. The breakfast was okay.
No room service. What a shame because when you have a young child, it's more practical. We would have spent around €150 to €200 on room service for dinner and breakfast. Too bad for us and the hotel. The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear footsteps in the hallway, the cleaning lady's cart, etc.
We regularly stay at the Hôtel de l'Abbaye, where we appreciate the comfort of the rooms and the quality of the services. One small drawback is the breakfasts, which we find unsatisfactory. We will be back very soon, with great pleasure. A big thank you to the entire team.
There are some things that need to be fixed in the bathroom. The toilet tank push button and the shower holder are all fine, but the room is very good.
I chose this hotel to have a PMR room. Room No. 1, known as PMR, like part of the hotel, was not fully compliant with the decree of December 8, 2014 setting out the provisions taken for the application of Articles R. 111-19-7 to R. 111-19-11 of the Construction and Housing Code and Article 14 of Decree No. 2006-555 relating to accessibility for disabled people to establishments open to the public located in an existing built environment and existing facilities open to the public (See on LEGIFRANCE), whose entrance door is with a pull/push force greater than 50 N; restricted space for an armchair (there are traces of rubbing on the walls; no turning space of 1.50 m in diameter; no regulatory space around the bed; adequate bathroom with a very narrow sink area and no storage space; Italian shower but lack of a second grab bar; WC ok but straightening bar too close to the toilet seat. A NIGHT access door with a ramp whose percentage is well above the legal standard and no handrail (it is very difficult to access alone). On the main entrance side: only one adapted parking space on the restaurant side; no orientation aid strip from the parking lot for access to the restaurant or to the hotel; hotel access ramp = OK; stairs OK; at reception, lack of a reception desk that meets standards; absence of the public accessibility register available at the establishment's reception point (mandatory document since October 1, 2017). In short, this hotel, very pleasant, however, does not comply, or at least only partially, with the regulations in force concerning accessibility for people with disabilities and reduced mobility. I am not in a wheelchair, but I had difficulties, fortunately I had a companion. I would like to remind you that any disabled person must be able to access an establishment open to the public as independently as possible. It is therefore desirable that the management of this hotel refers to the aforementioned regulations and makes the expected corrections to be within the limits. Finally, for information, the government issued last June an Interministerial Circular relating to the action plan for accessibility of establishments open to the public to prefects No. 6492/SG, dated June 27, 2025. The issuers are: Ministry of Housing: Ministry of Labor, Health, Solidarity and Families; Interministerial Delegation for Accessibility (DIA); Ministerial Delegation for Accessibility (DMA); Directorate of Housing, Urban Planning and Landscapes (DHUP). Subject: Accelerating the accessibility of establishments open to the public Actions to be taken: support and information for mayors and professional organizations on support systems Implementation of an ERP control plan so that they can take stock of ERPs that are partially accessible or not at all accessible in relation to the regulations in force with warnings and/or sanctions (with publicity for example). Check-out was friction less and efficient
Unclean room, mold in the shower, leaks in the toilet, paintwork to be redone, needs a good renovation. Breakfast is more or less adequate. Avoid the restaurant, it gives off a grand air with white tablecloths and a lot of service but nothing on the plate, for example: veal sweetbreads at €27 for a ridiculous little piece and 1 spoonful of mashed potatoes.
Decent hotel. Room and bathroom a bit small. Very good value for money for an overnight stay. Very good restaurant. Breakfast is a weak point, limited selection, presentation not very appealing.

Very pleasant stopover, which makes you want to spend several days there to take the time to stroll around Barrières en Gâtinais and other places. The restaurant is at the top on a spacious and very pleasant terrace, with impeccable service and very good food. No air conditioning at 30 degrees Celsius.
Hotel: Large, very clean and quiet room. However, there was a nauseating odor due to sewage backflow in the bathroom. This is a known problem. The restaurant doesn't deserve the "tasty" label, but rather the "gourmet" label. The only evening menu has a very limited selection. The cheese platter at the end of the service is mediocre for the price charged. A restock would have been welcome. However, the service was impeccable. The breakfast was industrial, with no homemade products, and the price was excessive at €12.50. In summary, we are surprised by the LogisHotel rating of this hotel. Perhaps a quality control check would be in order to maintain confidence in the label.
We were very well served in your hotel and had booked a night for the outward journey to Brittany and also for the return journey (1220 km to Switzerland). The room is not large but everything is there and our cat Harry felt comfortable. It is not easy to find hotels that accept pets and it was a pleasure to stay with you. In addition, a contribution to the costs is optional, it is a pleasure to give something for the cat. I recommend the hotel to all pet owners who are brave enough to take their pets with them.

Very happy with our stay at this hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and we ate very well at the restaurant.
Cleanliness, good bedding, spacious room. Perfect half-board menu (nicely folded cloth napkins, several appetizers, they still come and pick up your crumbs...). The only downside is the lack of air conditioning.

No air conditioning for such a hotel. Not recommended during hot weather. Heatwaves are expected to increase. It's time to air-condition the hotel.

Nice hotel, lovely food. It was very hot when we stayed and the room didn't have air-conditioning. But it wouldn't have cost very much to put a fan in each bedroom. In addition it was very difficult to open the shutters as the hinges obviously haven't been oiled for many years. I appreciate the hotel can't control the weather but fans!!! We had to leave at 7.30am on the Sunday morning and breakfast didn't start until 8am. Even if croissants, fruit juice and tea and coffee were available from 7am would have been appreciated. Yes I would stay there again. Thank you. Roger

Given the climate change and the current heatwave, this 3-star hotel should equip itself with air conditioning in the rooms. We brought our own fan!!
Dinner options are limited, with only one set menu, and even if you order à la carte, you'll still be left wanting more.
Missing air conditioning
Everything went well, we had a master bedroom on the ground floor, with direct access to a very large garden where the children can play safely. The room and bathroom were clean and decent. The breakfast was varied and good. The only downside: the sewer smells coming up into the bathroom.
4th time we have been to this establishment and apart from the fact that the coffee maker cord cannot reach the socket, nothing to say.
The hotel is very good. The restaurant is also good, but the service can't keep up. We were seated and waited 15 minutes, seeing the staff walk past us without saying a word before we were taken care of (bringing the menus, offering an aperitif). The food is very good. The breakfast is very well presented, but it's a shame to have a 5kg jar of Nutella instead of a more local spread in a chain that claims to be "Etik."

I highly recommend the place, it's charming, the restaurant is good and the staff are very attentive....there's no coat rack in the bathroom, but that's really a tiny detail.

The annex room smelled of mold and damp from the bathroom. The shower head is a bit small. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Superb location. We were a couple on bikes and the welcome exceeded our expectations. Bravo to the hotel and restaurant team.
Everything was quite OK, not really overwhelming, but OK. The location is perfect. The rooms have been modernized, I guess. The mattress seems to have been quite old and used – I sunk in it. There was no life there. Somebody who greeted me upon arrival, somebody at breakfast, but very ghostly everything in and around the reception. As a single guest you get the worst table at the restaurant, because you are the least important. Not very nice. Especially when having reserved the table well in advance and a couple (!) with no reservation gets a window table. Staff were somewhat OK, but also there not really in a good mood to act as joyful hosts.
