Great hotel if you are on the road, not far from the motorway. Good reception and top quality restaurant.
Nice table, good hotel, only downside: soundproofing of the rooms.
Room, a little small! Difficulty sitting down and stretching out your legs.
We stopped at the Hotel de l'Abbaye for one night. It is an establishment that I highly recommend. The welcome was perfect, the rooms we had were spacious and very clean. I also recommend the restaurant "Le Cheval Blanc" where we had dinner.

We have stayed at this hotel several times as a stopover and were happy with everything this time too. The small room (perfect for one night) was clean and even had a small selection of instant coffee and tea as well as mineral water for making it.

Each stay is always as satisfied with the welcome, the quality/price of the rooms and meals. The Hotel de l'Abbaye in Ferrieres en Gatinais has become our "must" on our trips to the South several times a year. Absolutely recommended
We have chosen this lovely hotel both for our journey back and forth to the South-West of France for a few years now. The welcome is always warm, the rooms are value for money, the staff is attentive and the food is of good, if not excellent, quality and of French standard (which is no longer easy to find in some parts of France). Again, we enjoyed our stay to the full.
Very good restaurant with the hotel. For that alone, it's well worth it. Comfortable bedding, clean room, although the bathroom could do with a lick of paint. On the other hand, no one at reception on arrival, TV remote control not working, shower head not fixed... A bit lacking in details! Not a big deal,

We spent a wonderful stop here: a very nice and very clean room, a quiet location, a great kitchen and very dog-friendly. We were greeted in a friendly manner and served very attentively. Highly recommended! But one small thing could be improved: if you walk your dog on the large lawn and the dog makes a pile, you can either leave it there, which would be a mess, or you can take small bags with you and collect the pile. But then there is no trash can anywhere you can throw it in.

I wrote 2 emails in the last 2 weeks to make sure we can have the same room type as last year. No answer. Not the same room type. No service. Very dissappointed. The cleanliness is not acceptable.
The hotel is clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The room smelled nice and was fresh. There was no musty odor. The shower is glass and see-through. I forgot my AirPods Pro, and they gladly retrieved them for me and left them at the front desk. It's inexpensive and has great value. A rare combination these days.

I asked for a room on the ground floor with two beds. It was confirmed by the hotel. When I arrived I got a key of a room with one bed.
I turned to the receptionist and he gave me a key of a room on the first floor. I told him I wanted a room on the ground floor. There wasn’t any room left. I asked the receptionist to fix the problem because I had a confirmation of two beds on the ground floor. In the end we received a triple room on the ground floor.
The hotel was great and in an charming, quiet location. There is plenty of on-site parking and upon arriving the staff were very welcoming. The hotel was very clean and also extremely airy and relaxing with an outdoor terrace overlooking a beautiful lawned area with woodlands at the rear. The staff were excellent. They were extremely helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel and restaurant. We ate at the restaurant in the evening. Le Cheval Blanc. Oh my!!! What can I say. Total bliss. Superb food and service 10/10. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. The food was totally amazing. Probably the best meal I have ever had in my life. Cooked to total perfection using only the very finest ingredients and with superb service from the staff to match. I can only praise every aspect of my stay at this hotel. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay here again. Thank you very much and well done!!!

Our suite is downstairs and perhaps therefore poorly ventilated, so there is a nasty smell in the bathroom. Very dog friendly and our dog is welcome in the restaurant and breakfast room. With a lawn directly accessible from the room, perfect for our dog.

The room is very small, very noisy towards the parking lot (adjacent restaurant with loud guests in the parking lot who were smoking in front of the open window), you can't tilt the window (you can only open it all the way), the toilet seat wasn't screwed on, ... all in all too expensive for what is offered. Accessibility is good, the place is wonderful, but I won't stay here again, even though I drive the route regularly and stay in the region.
At each stage at the Hôtel de l'Abbaye we appreciate the quality of the welcome, the comfort and calm and the excellence of the meals.
I recommend it👍. We were passing through with a dog. Room 👍. Bathroom👍. Reception 👍. The dog had plenty of space to run around in the garden 👍.

Great location on drive to the alps and whisky the room was small it had everything needed including kettle and was really clean. The welcome was excellent and lovely dinner with great choices and amazing wines by the glass. We had seen poor reviews on the breakfast but it was great - there were even waffles and maple syrup! Would definitely stay here again

On the way back we stop for a night in this hotel a few km from the A19 motorway. very easy to find in a pleasant village with a beautiful collegiate church. friendly welcome. adapted room with walk-in shower; impeccable cleanliness. We eat at the restaurant in the evening and have no complaints about the quality from starter to dessert. Nice surprise, classic buffet breakfast but varied enough to suit everyone. Impeccable value for money.

We have already visited (including restaurant) the hotel on several occasions, I find little variation in the restaurant menus (identical since the beginning of July and mid-August.) The quality is ok but for a customer who passes regularly, a little more variation would be appreciated.

Very good, but the price of breakfast is €12.50. On the confirmation of the Logis reservation (by email of May 31) a price of €10.00 was indicated. Breakfast is good, but a 25% difference is still significant.
We were pleasantly surprised by this small town of Ferrières-en-Gâtinais, where it is very pleasant to stroll. We cycled around (Montargis, Briare canal, Lunain valley...), charming little roads. Very nice staff, very quiet and comfortable rooms. For the restaurant, very careful service and sophisticated dishes. A very nice stay a few km from the Scandibérique (EuroVélo 3) - cycle route that crosses France.
