This is our third time at this hotel. The breakfast needs to change; it's been the same for three years and there's not much choice: omelet, bacon, and sausage every morning.
Everything was fine, although I would have expected a slightly higher level of quality for the price. The location and view from the room are excellent.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic ski holiday with family and friends at Hotel Aalborg, and overall, our stay was excellent.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless. Check-in was smooth, check-out was just as easy, and the staff throughout the hotel were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect for a ski holiday in Les Deux Alpes ideal for getting around and making the most of our time on the slopes.
The food was lovely overall. Breakfast was enjoyable, though a bit more variety in the hot options would have been appreciated. Dinner menus were tasty and well thought out; however, it was slightly disappointing that we had to pre-order our meals every evening. We also noticed that portion sizes varied quite a bit from day to day and even between members of our group, which was a little inconsistent.
That said, these were minor points in what was otherwise a brilliant stay. Comfortable, well run, and welcoming. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families and groups looking for a stress-free ski holiday!
We had a week at the Aalborg very friendly welcome as a big group of 15 very quick check in but our whole stay the staff were very accommodating to the large group.
Dinner times were seamless with pre order for the following night each day and table ready for us. 1 of our party has a severe allergy and the restaurant/kitchen staff were impeccable with this.
Bar staff very busy all day but great never long waits and if on terrace table service available. At busy times of day table availability can be limited outside but staff will make you comfortable and then move you to the table when available.
We had to depart very early and the hotel staff very kindly opened breakfast for us to be able to grab something before we departed.
Room was very clean and new towels placed each day with option to have room cleaned each day, we chose every other day. Facilities within room what you need for the stay, kettle optional but easy to get from reception.
Ski hire within the hotel made arrival and sorting the equipment very simple and ski shop staff also very friendly and helpful.
Location great with easy access straight out onto the slopes from the boot room.
Very disappointed with the evening restaurant and the service. We were on half-board and one evening we even preferred to eat elsewhere. Simpler dishes would have been welcome; for example, not everyone likes sweet and savory combinations. The reception and bar staff were excellent. The restaurant staff were unpleasant and disorganized, despite being numerous.

Had a great stay in Hotel Aalborg and the bar and restaurant staff were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size with balconies and a bath and shower. Storage was limited though. We were half board. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, although kids were disappointed to not have pancakes. Evening meals were more mixed with some really lovely choices but a couple of bad meals. Good options for children. One slightly odd thing is that we kept getting white marks on our clothes if they rubbed against the walls. On the website it looks like there is a pool table, but there isn’t. Ski rental was great, being inside the hotel.

bit old fashioned / old accomodation - bathroom was a bit too small. In second room door to balcony did not closed very good - we could feel cold wind from outside coming in the room
A good hotel for skiing in L2A. Near to lifts and availability of ski room.
I've tried many hotels in Les Deux Alpes and the Aalborg is definitely the best.
Parts of the hotel are a little dated, maybe a kettle and mini fridge could be in rooms

Good Ski hotel. Really convenient location
Nothing to complain about at this hotel, whose added bonus is the half-board option. Superb location (ski-in/ski-out), quiet, very clean, comfortable bedding, delicious restaurant (table service, choice of two starters and two main courses, simple, tasty, and homemade desserts). The breakfast is generous. The hammam and sauna are very clean. We only went once because it's an extra charge, but that's not a bad thing as it's not crowded. You can also have an osteopathic session or a massage, also done by the osteopath or a physiotherapist, which is very welcome after a day of skiing! The prices aren't excessive considering the results. Very pleasant and attentive staff, and a nice bar at the entrance. We will definitely return. If I had to mention a negative point, it would be the TV, which is quite small. Not a problem since you don't watch it much when you're skiing...

Family-run hotel, very welcoming
A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. We spent Christmas week as a family (4 people) at the Hotel Aalborg in Les Deux Alpes. We know this resort well and wanted to try a new place. The hotel is very pleasant and ideally located, both on the slopes and in the center of the resort. We had a large, south-facing double family room with a balcony. The staff and management are truly attentive and caring: service and smiles every day. We highly recommend this wonderful place for a very pleasant stay.
Staff could not have been more helpful, especially Lea. Hotel felt very homely and welcoming, lounge area very comfortable.
Dinner was not served, even though a group of young people were staying at the hotel and were able to enjoy dinner every evening. We were not informed of this when we made our reservation. The hotel team also took no initiative to offer compensation or propose a solution. During breakfast, we could barely speak to each other because of the group's commotion. This is truly unbecoming of a three-star hotel.

Hotel at the foot of the slopes with a beautiful view. Close to the Jandri cable car and the center as well (5 minutes walk). Comfortable and clean room with good bedding. Wifi works perfectly. Very friendly reception and bar staff (including the mascot Luna ;) ) All-you-can-eat breakfast with a large selection of sweet and savory dishes before going to face the super devil.
Our stay was perfect. The comfort, cleanliness, and services offered are worthy of a 3-star hotel: top-notch bedding, generous breakfasts with a wide selection of both sweet and savory dishes. The highlight of this establishment is the welcome, with helpful, and friendly staff. Try it and you'll love it.
