Breakfast was a little disappointing in terms of variety.

A sewer smell in the bathroom, a clogged sink, and an empty bottle of liquid soap in the shower detracted from our stay. These inconveniences were somewhat mitigated by the excellent location and the friendliness of the reception staff.

Fantastic location. Charming hotel in a unique historical setting. Clean. Good breakfast. Excellent hospitality. Very comfortable beds and a priceless atmosphere. Some flaws due to the age of the property can certainly be forgiven.

In the room, the bedside lamp fell off the wall. It wasn’t repaired even after we reported it to reception. The whole hotel is dirty. There are cobwebs everywhere, and the carpets are filthy. Our bathroom wasn’t cleaned.
The situation at breakfast was a disaster! There weren’t enough seats for the guests every day. At the start, there was only one breakfast staff member on duty. The poor woman had to clear the tables, set them up again and restock the buffet, which was constantly running out with so many guests.

Great location and excellent service!

At the first breakfast, there was no bread left and it had to be brought in. The room (I had booked an expensive suite) and especially the toilet were only superficially and poorly cleaned. The breakfast selection was very limited and uninspiring.

I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Saint-Martin. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Colmar, which makes it perfect for exploring the old town on foot. I also really loved the interior. I don’t usually go for traditional décor, but here it suited the character of the hotel and the beauty of Colmar perfectly and gave the place a lot of charm.

The bathroom was modern and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I normally don’t even eat breakfast, but here I simply couldn’t resist — and I’m very glad I didn’t!

The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout my stay. Overall, this is a lovely hotel and one I would wholeheartedly recommend. If I come back to Colmar, I’m quite sure I’ll stay here again.

Tres bonne situation si centre ville

The hotel is located right in the heart of the tourist hotspot. Several restaurants are right outside the door, so sightseeing can begin without delay. From the recommended parking garage, it's just a few minutes' walk to the hotel. The location is unbeatable. From reception, you reach the entrances to the rooms via a courtyard. It's a shame they don't do more with the courtyard. The room had air conditioning, and everything else you could need was there. Cleanliness could be improved; there was dust here and there. Breakfast was delicious.

Very nice place in the middle of the touristic highlights. You better choose without breakfast and spend time for breakfast in one of the restaurants for the same money.

Excellent stay at the Hotel Saint Martin. I'm very happy to have spent two nights there. The staff at reception and in-person service were friendly and highly recommended.

If you want tot experience a hotel build in an 15th/17th building in the center of Colmar with enough comfort (even airco in the room and a balcony) and fantastic staff (their humor!) you should stay here. But only if you don't have problems with walking or have heavy suitcases etc because everything is very steep en narrow in the building. Parking is 10 minutes walking. You have the idea to live decades ago because everything of the city is original but very well restored. It was the hottest day of the year and we arrived late and had to leave early but it was worthwhile walking around in the churches en parks etc.

A very cozy, small hotel housed in ancient walls. We slept under beautiful, worm-eaten beams in a charming room where not a single wall was straight. The location in the heart of the medieval old town is fantastic, and the affordable Saint Josse parking garage is an easy 8-minute walk away. Our only criticism would be the breakfast; if you prefer a wholesome, fresh, and delicious meal, croissants and jam aren't quite what you're looking for.

The ”Romantic suite” was essentially a basement room with no windows and the overall setup did not resemble a normal hotel room.

Perfect location. The room is big and comfortable. Breakfast is simple and we missed a fridge.

Lovley location but did not meet expectations. AC not working in one room and foundation cochroaches in the room. Come down to breakfast 30 min before cleaning, almost everything was out.

The entire hotel complex seemed very dingy and neglected. Definitely never again!! Disliked · Room number 14 was a tiny hole, a real dive. It didn't resemble the pictures we saw on the website in any way. The bathroom was extremely dirty. There was mold everywhere in the shower. The air conditioning was broken and had been temporarily replaced with an extremely loud and smelly portable unit. Because the temperatures were extremely high, the portable air conditioner had to run constantly, and the exhaust hose had to be vented out of the open window. Consequently, we hardly slept a wink and couldn't sleep at all. The room generally seemed very neglected and was more like an emergency accommodation for €150 a night. Knowing this, we wouldn't even pay €10 for it. We'd rather sleep on a park bench. Liked · The location was okay, and the breakfast was alright.

Shower pressure was amazing and the air conditioning managed to cope really well with keeping the room cool when it t was :8 degrees outside
Stairs needed a really good vacuum room wasn’t cleaned just bed pulled up and towels replaced i ran out of handwash, toilet paper and coffee was never replaced or cups cleaned. Bathroom never cleaned

A nightmare... I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this establishment. I paid €182 for a room whose design is admittedly dated and whose cleanliness is questionable, but which I nevertheless agreed to book for one essential reason: the presence of air conditioning. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the main air conditioning unit was out of order and had been replaced by a substitute that produced no cooling whatsoever. In the middle of summer, this constitutes a major breach of the advertised service and one of the determining factors in my booking. I therefore request a full refund. We specifically chose this hotel so that we could get a proper rest on our return journey from our holiday, between two legs of nearly 10 hours of travel. You can also check my booking history for the last two weeks, which clearly reflects this travel situation. The hotel was kind enough to offer us complimentary breakfast. However, this proposal is in no way adequate compensation, since we always book our stays on a room-only basis and do not have breakfast at the hotel. This offer therefore fails to address the inconvenience suffered and falls far short of the service promised to us at the time of booking. The most disappointing aspect is the manager's completely out-of-touch and unempathetic response. It's truly pathetic coming from a hotel manager who is supposed to be focused on her core business: her guests.

A very positive stay. The hotel is extremely well located. The staff were very professional and attentive to guests' needs. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is basically worth 4 stars. It's right in the heart of the old town. As soon as you step out the door, you're right in the middle of things. However, we ended up with the room we hadn't actually requested. It was right at the top and had split beds. There was still a flight of stairs to the room from the elevator. What would have happened if someone had mobility issues? Otherwise, everything was fine. We would come back.

The room was a bit small, and since I was traveling with my mother, I would have liked two duvets instead of one. That would be a useful option. Otherwise, everything was great.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location in the heart of Colmar. The welcome was perfect, and the rooms were lovely and traditionally decorated. We highly recommend it.

The hotel is very well located in the center of Colmar. The staff were incredibly attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was varied and of high quality.

Good stay, just a shame about the lack of air conditioning

The room we got had nothing to do with the room shown at the pictures of the booking site. The bed was different. (One double bed instead of the two beds I booked.)
Climatisation was brocken, so we got a mobile clima device with a 20 cm tube out of the Open window. Room was top floor just beneath the roof. And 40 degrees C outside. So we had the choice between not sleeping because of the heat or not sleeping because of the terrible noise the mobile clima-device was making.
And the worst experience was the lady at the desk when checking out…

We were there during the summer heat . There was some kind of AC in the room but a window open with a hose outside a window. It was not possible to close which made it a bit noisy during the night.
There was no WI Fi available any of the days we were there.
It was also quite expensive per night when I booked in advanced. Additional night could be booked for half price the day before.

Great location but it was very noisy because it’s on the Main Street. There needed to be a blind at the bathroom window too as other guests over looked you very closely. Needed air con too

Zentrales Hotel mit gutem Standard. Nur müsste das Badezimmer größer sein. Freundlicher Service an der Rezeption.
Schlecht war, dass WLAN überhaupt nicht funktioniert hat.

This hotel was a very last minute reservation. They made me feel welcomed and gave me a lovely room. They stored my luggage and made arrangements to get me to the train station. 10/10 would stay again in this perfect location. I left very happy.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful views, exceptional location

When the Zimmer is finished, the WLAN status is at its lowest price (Zimmer 003) and there is no WLAN Empfang and no (best Spuren im Klo). Wir konnten das Zimmer dann ohne Probleme wechseln. Dort war die Preis Leistung ok, aber für €90 auch nicht richtig sauber. Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen und auch fair. Doch ab 9:30 gab es kaum noch Auswahl.

Sehr gute, zentrale Unterkunft. Netter Empfang, kompetente und engagierte Mitarbeiter. Schöne Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir hatten ein altes Zimmer mit diversen defekten Sachen (Venti, WC-Bürstenhalterung, Handtuch etc.)
Auch die Sauberkeit allgemein lässt zu wünschen übrig. Eigentlich sehr schade. Es ist ein schönes altes Haus aber man müsste dringend gewisse Sachen renovieren.
