Located a stone's throw from the Hérisson waterfalls, the inn is very welcoming, and the cuisine is remarkable, all homemade by the young chef who is also the owner. You can eat lunch outside and it's truly delicious and plentiful. The accommodation is very decent. Makis there is no elevator!
We stayed in a street-side room with the motorcycle parking under our windows and the kitchen vents echoing in the room, not to mention the slamming of the hallway door or those of the other rooms. The room's noise level is unpleasant, with up to 65 decibels measured. We are disappointed with the room but also with the choice of the restaurant menu, which we found to be lacking in local recipes.

We really like stopping at the Auberge du Hérisson: very pleasant welcome, impeccable rooms, very good restaurant (we have a weakness for the macvin as an aperitif, the morel puff pastry and the good blueberry tarts. The service is perfect, we are well advised and all the staff are very attentive. The breakfast allows us to start the day well. In addition, the location is perfect for beautiful hikes (Hérisson waterfall; the 3 lakes...)

Very pleasant stay, close to the Hérisson waterfalls.
The 12 euro breakfast is expensive compared to what's on offer. No local yogurts or cottage cheese (but Danone). The room lacks shelves and hooks. There is no kettle. The bathroom also lacks shelves.

The hotel is very well located. You don't need to take your vehicle to do activities. Several hiking trails start from the hotel. (Hérisson Waterfalls, Eagle Peak, 4 Lakes viewpoint, etc.) Correct welcome. Too bad the smile is so discreet. Impeccable room/bathroom cleanliness. No Wi-Fi connection. Overall pleasant stay.
The hotel certainly meets all the criteria: location, access, and very well maintained. The room is of good quality with quality bedding and is quiet, even though it overlooks the road.

A friendly welcome, friendly and attentive staff. Good food. The room was a bit small but compact and well-appointed. Clean. A beautiful location. A well-stocked breakfast.
Charming little hotel with a lovely, well-decorated room. The bathroom is a bit cramped! The hotel also has a restaurant, which is very welcome after a busy day. The dishes are showcased in a regional style and are delicious. The welcome and service were very pleasant.
Well-located hotel at the end of our first day of market shopping, above the Hérisson waterfalls. Good restaurant. Simple but efficient room. Limited soap and shampoo.
Very warm welcome and nice room. Meals were okay except for the salads which were a bit too "basic".
There are a few things missing for everything to be perfect: opaque curtains to block out the daylight in the morning because the shutters let it through. A kettle in the room so you can make a hot drink whenever you want. The meals are good, but the desserts are not the best for the price: the pie crust is not crispy, it is pasty, it doesn't look like a homemade dessert; the crunchy chocolate dessert is only that in name! It is absolutely not crispy and it is a shame. The waitress does not know how to provide information on the wines of the region, she could learn a little to be able to inform customers and not just say that she is from another region and that she does not know, or ask one of her colleagues who is more experienced in this field.
