A very comfortable hotel in the heart of a magnificent region. The emphasis on local produce is a real plus for the restaurant. Attentive staff. We will gladly return very soon to continue exploring the hiking trails in the Jura.

Located a stone's throw from the Hérisson waterfalls, the inn is very welcoming, and the cuisine is remarkable, all homemade by the young chef who is also the owner. You can eat lunch outside and it's truly delicious and plentiful. The accommodation is very decent. Makis there is no elevator!

We stayed in a street-side room with the motorcycle parking under our windows and the kitchen vents echoing in the room, not to mention the slamming of the hallway door or those of the other rooms. The room's noise level is unpleasant, with up to 65 decibels measured. We are disappointed with the room but also with the choice of the restaurant menu, which we found to be lacking in local recipes.

We really like stopping at the Auberge du Hérisson: very pleasant welcome, impeccable rooms, very good restaurant (we have a weakness for the macvin as an aperitif, the morel puff pastry and the good blueberry tarts. The service is perfect, we are well advised and all the staff are very attentive. The breakfast allows us to start the day well. In addition, the location is perfect for beautiful hikes (Hérisson waterfall; the 3 lakes...)

Very pleasant stay, close to the Hérisson waterfalls.

The 12 euro breakfast is expensive compared to what's on offer. No local yogurts or cottage cheese (but Danone). The room lacks shelves and hooks. There is no kettle. The bathroom also lacks shelves.

The hotel is very well located. You don't need to take your vehicle to do activities. Several hiking trails start from the hotel. (Hérisson Waterfalls, Eagle Peak, 4 Lakes viewpoint, etc.) Correct welcome. Too bad the smile is so discreet. Impeccable room/bathroom cleanliness. No Wi-Fi connection. Overall pleasant stay.

The hotel certainly meets all the criteria: location, access, and very well maintained. The room is of good quality with quality bedding and is quiet, even though it overlooks the road.

Charming little hotel with a lovely, well-decorated room. The bathroom is a bit cramped! The hotel also has a restaurant, which is very welcome after a busy day. The dishes are showcased in a regional style and are delicious. The welcome and service were very pleasant.

Well-located hotel at the end of our first day of market shopping, above the Hérisson waterfalls. Good restaurant. Simple but efficient room. Limited soap and shampoo.

Very warm welcome and nice room. Meals were okay except for the salads which were a bit too "basic".

There are a few things missing for everything to be perfect: opaque curtains to block out the daylight in the morning because the shutters let it through. A kettle in the room so you can make a hot drink whenever you want. The meals are good, but the desserts are not the best for the price: the pie crust is not crispy, it is pasty, it doesn't look like a homemade dessert; the crunchy chocolate dessert is only that in name! It is absolutely not crispy and it is a shame. The waitress does not know how to provide information on the wines of the region, she could learn a little to be able to inform customers and not just say that she is from another region and that she does not know, or ask one of her colleagues who is more experienced in this field.

When you are on an overnight package, breakfast served from 8:00 am is much too late... However, the hotel provides a "breakfast" tray.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La chambre était très bien, même si nous avons eu beaucoup trop chaud ! Et j'ai trouvé que le petit déjeuner était un peu cher. Sinon l'étape était parfaite, merci beaucoup.

Great hostel! I stayed there for 2 nights with a friend to go hiking in the area. It was perfect from A to Z. Great staff, very clean and very comfortable rooms. Big + on the restaurant where we ate really well, it was excellent!

A pleasant stay except for the inopportune presence of many dogs in a small restaurant room. A presence that spoiled our meal.

A great address, both for its ideal location for hiking the Hérisson waterfalls and for being the base camp for visiting the region. Many positive points but the first is undeniably the team: attentive, always smiling despite the summer rush, ready to give advice... The hotel is nice. Clean room, good bedding, quiet... Breakfast allows you to start the day for a good hike: local charcuterie, local cheeses, fruits, eggs and for the classics croissants, chocolatines and baguettes... The meals were varied with homemade products and honoring the local. Considering the location, the prices remain very reasonable. In short, a good address! Come on, one point for improvement:: internet because little or no 3G network... I even had edge... I thought it didn't exist anymore :) so anticipate the preparations for your hikes / visits

Very well located and pleasant establishment for visiting the Hérisson waterfalls. One downside however: the lack of soundproofing! We were in the annex and we could hear all the comings and goings of the occupants from 7am in the morning, as well as the TV in the rooms. Too bad... Without this big black mark, it would have been perfect.

Okay, but for the price you'd expect better service. The welcome was good, and we had a booking problem, but the staff were very helpful.

The Hérisson Inn (downside): Room located on the first floor, above the terrace which is very noisy in the evening and depending on the morning (vehicles; hikers; customers). Also close to the toilets on the floor, the use of the hand dryer by customers is really annoying (long stay). No soundproofing. Sun entering the room in the morning, old shutters. Bathroom hooks on the wall behind the door, annoying to use, and no socket in the bathroom. Furniture next to the shower in a corner, difficult to access. Support in the shower too small, if you bring your own products. Breakfast, expensive for what it is and hygiene not up to par, (everyone puts their hands on the cake, cheese, sausage). Positive point, the kindness of the room staff (very friendly lady). This establishment deserves to be reviewed as a whole (services, others), positive point of the hostel, well located for hiking and other curiosities. Stay in the JURA pleasant! The Inn is recommended if stay is very short.

Very nice place for a getaway in the Jura, located at the top of the Hérisson waterfalls. The inn is very well kept, very comfortable and the welcome is very friendly. We feel good there.

A downside when you're having a week off and room service starts at 8 a.m., that's not cool.

We were very well received. The boss helped us carry our luggage to our room. the young waitress was also very friendly and did her best to satisfy us… The hotel is welcoming, the rooms are large and clean, impeccable bedding, there is everything you need… We just had a little inconvenience in terms of certain drinks that they were missing and the cooking of dishes. We still recommend it and thank you for the welcome.

correct experience good responsiveness of the manager following the television and air conditioning problems disappointment at the level of the Logis de France points..after an error on the amount of the note and rectification made the points corresponding to the note were not credited on my account...too bad!

Hotel and especially the restaurant are excellent

The welcome and staff were very friendly. The room faced the road and was above the terrace, so there was a lot of traffic (cars, motorcycles, trucks) and it was quite noisy. The windows weren't insulated. The room was very clean, but the decor was dated. There was plenty of storage space. The bed was 140cm, and the mattress was good quality, but too small for our liking.

We spent two nights in this hostel, ideal location at the foot of the Hérisson waterfalls! Very clean rooms, ultra comfortable bedding. A small negative point is the soundproofing, we could hear everything that was happening in the establishment and the passing cars but this in no way spoiled our weekend. We ate once at the inn, very good food and fast service.

Beautiful inn in the Jura. Very quiet, rooms not big but well furnished, lots of storage space. Good beds. A bike can be safely stored in its own little house. Good restaurant.
