Your stay at Hotel Casa Rural Mas del Joncar
Mas del Joncar is a typical nineteenth-century Catalan country house awarded with 4 spikes. It is located in the northern part of the Costa Brava, in Sant Pere Pescador (Girona). The 10,000 m2 estate is located within the natural reserve of "Els aiguamolls de l’Empordà" and is surrounded by apple orchards. The GR-92 goes past our house. It follows the river course, through the nature reserve "Mig de Dos Rius" to where the river joins the sea and to Sant Pere Pescador beach, which is one the last virgin beaches in the Costa Brava. The house has four rooms on the first floor and one on the ground floor with direct access the garden. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, central heating, TV and air conditioning (except the one on the ground floor). The dining room is very sunny and has views over the garden. The living-room on the first floor is perfect for relaxing while reading or just enjoying nature by contemplating the extensive garden. In addition we have two rooms with a veranda made of wood from sustainable forests, located next to the pool, that are ideal for families with children (since they are interconnected) or couples with pets. All over the house and in some parts of the garden we have free wireless Internet access and we also offer a computer exclusively for our guests. We have swimming pool and bicycles that our guests can use for free, so that can enjoy the surroundings. Throughout the day we offer coffee and a great variety of teas, as well as homemade cakes for our guests to enjoy while reading a book or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. At dinner we offer traditional dishes made with typical local products and ingredients from our organic garden.
