Restaurant l'Hostellerie des Ducs

ca fait plus de 20 ans que je fréquente l hostellerie des ducs, c'est une chance que de pouvoir fréquenter un tel établissement qui, depuis 4 générations, porte très haut l'hospitalité a la Française avec une pointe de sud ouest. Produit locaux de qualité avec une créativité culinaire toujours revisitée, tout cela avec un sourire généreux, que voulez vous de plus? que cela dure le plus longtemps possible !

Superbe séjour. Charmant hôtel. Tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Very warm welcome, very pleasant quality of service. Very very good catering. Perhaps a refresh of the bathroom, too bad there is no shower instead of the bathtub. I'll be back.

A hotel with an outdoor area (swimming pool) which should be pleasant if the weather permits. The service at the restaurant is impeccable! worthy of the greats ;) The quality of the rooms and the catering is TOP!! Thanks to the whole team :)

Despite arriving quite late, I was able to dine in an excellent manner where the quality of the food and choice were excellent. There is nothing to complain about the room and breakfast, everything was perfect. In summary, an excellent stopover at DURAS that I would happily repeat.

The room looked exactly like the pictures but it was not clear that the suites were in a separate building from the hotel. This involved crossing a road and climbing a fairly steep hill and a flight of stairs. Since these are the accessible rooms, this should have been specified on the hotel website. In practical terms this means that you cannot use the pool unless you are prepared to walk down the street in a bathing suit and bathrobe.

Easily accessible hotel in a historic location. The value for money of the restaurant is not the best. The service was pleasant and attentive congratulations on this point

Hotel in a lovely setting … room exceptionally clean nice touches with tea making and tissues soap etc. room a little small and not sure about sliding door separating loo from bed which was broken and kept swinging about. Very thin walls could hear conversations and people using the toilet. Restaurant and staff amazing the food was exceptional. I would stay again but probably for one night whilst travelling through.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot in a beautiful area/village. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high when choosing a “hotel élégance” because this was not it. A lot of faded glory, small rooms (the owner offered us a larger room that was more expensive but still very small). We ate well, but we missed the “passion” that was in the description. The staff is correct but not enthusiastic. No love for the profession. The job must be done…

Hotel with character located in a beautiful setting, near the castle. A good price for a stopover evening, with the possibility of choosing the menu, which is always very appreciable. A very good address, I will come back without hesitation!

Lovely hotel, great AC which was on when we arrived in very hot weather!
Very comfy bed and very clean.
The dinner was fabulous - such beautiful food and wine - and the service personal and friendly.
Only think the Wifi did not work for us at all, not a major issue
