Very warm welcome
Hello, The wait at reception is a bit long for lunch or upon arrival. The only downside is that despite my request to repair the remote control, nothing was done except to tell me to press hard on the buttons (room 1) or to get up to change by hand. Unsatisfactory response.
Quite noisy surroundings gt6k9
3-night stay. Good food, quiet hotel, friendly staff.
Hotel well located for visiting the beautiful region. The room is well equipped and I slept well and peacefully. Unfortunately, there was chaos in the kitchen both nights, for different reasons. This needs to be remedied urgently.
New team within the hotel, friendly and motivated, hotel a little aging, in need of a little refresh!
Beautiful apartment in the tower near the church. Perfect for our group (2 couples). We had not anticipated self-catering facilities, so that was a huge bonus too
a very nice, authentic place, a hotel as we like them and exceptional catering
Zero friendliness upon arrival and during the stay. No shower gel in the bathroom. Evening meal just okay, feeling like eating canned food except for the vegetables. Parking inaccessible. Bad experience
Location of the aparthotel very good, the sound of the bells in the morning did not bother us, the welcome was perfect, however there was a lack of towels and tea towels, the dishes were still wet in the cupboard, some places were not clean
Traditional hotel with a diverse decor. The room is quite small but pleasant with a large bathroom and separate toilet. The charm of this hotel also comes from the personality of its owners, who do not hesitate to combine a pretty swimming pool with a hundred or so varied birds (from roosters to chicks). Three adorable cats also live alongside the chickens and the guests.... However, it is the restaurant that is the main attraction of this place, with excellent and generous traditional regional cuisine, served in a very pleasant setting. A waitress orchestrates the services efficiently and with great kindness. In short, an excellent address where we hope to return!
Comfort double room reserved on our arrival we were told that we would be staying in a room in the tower near the church and not in the hotel because our room was allocated to people who could not climb stairs Room in a typical tower on 2 floors not practical for carrying luggage Choice between 2 rooms: decent bathroom poor quality bedding with not very clean sheets dust on the bedside tables and lamps In short quiet Move on because even at the hotel the little I could see was dusty and questionable
Old, needs renovations
Splendid decor with charming details. Magnificent rooms, cleanliness +++. Joëlle is extraordinarily dynamic, humorous, efficient and generous. Delicious, abundant cuisine, local products. Wonderful stay! Thank you Delicious, local cuisine,
Friendly hotel, well located, great swimming pool, quality products, good bedding. Very good stay.
We stayed at this establishment a little over a year ago. We had a great time staying at the Relais du Quercy. The welcome, the service, the rooms, the food, everything is nice, simple, and friendly.
Very pleasant stay. 3 possible recommendations: install a desk/reception, provide more refills for the bathroom soaps, indicate whether the fruits and vegetables are organic, and offer mosquito repellent to pool users.
We knew this establishment for the quality and quantity of the food served at dinner. So we decided to stay there during our visit to the region, but we were disappointed on more than one level. First, no one to greet us at reception. We had to wait a long time in the lobby for someone to arrive to welcome us (and we weren't the only ones waiting). Then, we discovered the room (charged 85 euros, while on the Logis Hôtels website it is listed at 80). A so-called comfort room, but with a bed that almost touches the bathroom entrance (20 cm at most between the two). Modern and pleasant bathroom, but a rather rustic room, overlooking the busy street and even with the windows closed, the noise is present. In addition, there is no soundproofing. We could hear our neighbors, especially those upstairs, coming and going. Then, we discovered the parking lot, where it is indicated to be careful not to run over the chickens. There are indeed chickens everywhere, even on the terraces and by the pool. Hygiene-wise, it's borderline. Furthermore, we noticed that one of the parked cars was covered in droppings. So we decided to park our car on the street. Still on the hygiene front, the sheets hung out to dry along the driveway where the cars pass, the bottom of which drags in the grass and on a low wall, near the chickens, are also borderline. Finally, the next morning, we arrive for breakfast. Still the same unsmiling welcome. We are asked for our room number, which we give. We had booked a full breakfast, called Corrèze (with cold cuts, cheese and omelet), instead of which we are served bread, jam and a croissant (we were not even offered a chocolatine, even though at the table next to us they had both). So we stuffed ourselves with bread and after an hour the waitress came to us to say "but you had reserved the Corrèze breakfast! Would you like an omelet?", which we declined, given that we were full of bread. Before she added "you should have asked for it", even though it was clearly written on her card, since she was the one who told us about it. In short, it was almost our fault if we hadn't had what we had reserved. In the end, 107 euros for a night in these conditions is a lot to pay, value for money. We have the impression that their main activity is the restaurant and that they run a hotel as a sideline. It's a shame once again, because we had very good memories of our dinners in this establishment.
Good morning,
Thank you for your feedback, even though our house clearly didn't quite meet your hotel expectations. Perhaps an Ibis Styles on the outskirts of Brive would have ticked your boxes better.
Regarding breakfast, you could have just asked during the service... or even talked to us (yes, we don't bite!). We're more of a conversational type than a guesser.
That said, we've been doing this job for 50 years, and we continue to learn every day... especially about the ability of some clients to forget that we are human before we are stars.
Have a good trip!
Very warm welcome and a generous and excellent meal with fresh produce. The bedding is a little hard for our taste. Good value for money.
Excellent hotel. Be careful not to run over the chickens in the car park!
You are in ‘la France Profonde’ here the whole atmosphere & food reflects this
It is very pleasant to be welcomed by a family who goes out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The hotel is located in a green setting (small park where chickens, cats, sheep live freely). The rooms are comfortable (bathroom separate from the toilet). The food is varied, tasty, local according to the market, with regional specialties. The small village is charming, close to superb sites to visit. As for the swimming pool, it is very pleasant to dive in on hot days after walks. Parking is available.
Experience as expected. Good value for money.
Very well located hotel, close to Collonges and not far from the motorway, with a very friendly and family atmosphere. The swimming pool is beautiful and the small garden is pleasant, sheltered from view and from the road. The staff is very helpful. It was a welcome stop for us on the way to our holidays.
Very pleasant stay in this hotel with a family atmosphere and original decor. We didn't take advantage of the swimming pool because it was cool, but the outdoor setting is very pleasant.
Comfortable and gourmet stopover
We really appreciated the quality of the welcome!
The photos presented on the website do not correspond to reality. The room clearly needs a complete rejuvenation, which is not reflected online. The same goes for the images of the restaurant, which can be misleading. This is unfortunate, because the staff is very attentive and attentive to customers. Fortunately, the pool is a real asset.
Very good stay, we really liked the restaurant, the unusual apartment in the tower. And the children loved the pool! The only downside was the air conditioning which didn't work well and there was no fan in the room.
Friendly and pleasant hotel but could do with a little renovation
Very warm welcome. Good food and excellent service. Very welcoming people. And a much-loved swimming pool. An address to remember and pass on. A big thank you.
A little corner of paradise, sheltered from the elements. Comfortable, clean, quiet... the pool, the chickens, the plants... everything was perfect. The waitress is extremely efficient. In short, we will be back because we were delighted with our stay.
Unbelievably poor room - the only good thing was air conditioning. Supposedly a superior queen room. The reality was nothing like the online photo. Poor quality, old-fashioned. The bedding looked old. The bathroom was terrible - dated and grimy with peeling wallpaper. The toilet was in a kind of enclosed cupboard with no ventilation. All of it a long way below acceptable standards.
We expected a higher quality. The bedding really needs to be reviewed, both the mattress and the pillows. We did not appreciate the quality of our night.
Overnight stay: thank you for the “upgrade” After a day of work in intense heat, it was very pleasant to be able to fully enjoy this evening
Super friendly staff, very nice room, nice pool, very very good meals
Decent establishment, which would still deserve a good refresh, very friendly staff, generous and very good cuisine, ditto for breakfast
Very good stay, a quiet stopover near Collonges la Rouge with private parking, comfortable room except for the bed too small for a tall person like me (>1m90) and the bedding a little too soft, a 160/200 bed would have been great, very beautiful view of the garden with swimming pool. Restaurant very reasonable in terms of price and quality. A great place to remember.
a gem in a lively village, more recommended than its neighbor Collonges la Rouge
given the majority of reviews, we certainly had the least pleasant room! Very worn blanket, slightly old sheet, and why put the duvet with cover on top of that? In addition, hot temperature outside, hot in the room, no air conditioning, and .... the window opens right above the exhaust pipe of the kitchen extractor hood! Try to sleep enveloped in the smell of cooking and in the heat, without feeling cheated ... to be avoided, unless the other rooms are like the photos, which I doubt a little given the photo of the garden which is not quite in the same condition! Regarding the welcome and the meal, decent service.
Very disappointed. The cleanliness of the room and bathrooms was more than questionable. The only positive point: the heating. When you enter the restaurant, the smell of cat urine hits you and lingers. It ruins the meal.
High quality welcome and service.
Very friendly staff. We were welcomed as if we were part of the family. The room was absolutely adorable. Clean (but not perfect in the details). The meal was good and good value for money (e.g., a 30-euro menu for a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert). The overall atmosphere was cozy. We came across hens and chicks in the private parking lot. In the morning, we faintly heard the rooster crowing (nothing to wake us up about).
so-called superior room, completely independent, quiet and spacious!
Very warm welcome. Have a great weekend.
We were completely satisfied with our stay: good products in the restaurant and a very generous breakfast. We recommend the central location of this hotel for a visit to the tourist villages in the region.
The room really needs a makeover. The wallpaper is dated, the bathroom furniture is peeling, and the bathtub is difficult to access. It's a shame because it could have some charm if it were updated. For the price, it's too high while it's in this condition. Or at least, breakfast should be included so we can forget the details. The photos were promising, though.
Very good stay Comfortable hotel, top decor However, when arriving in Meyssac, the facade of the hotel does not attract the eye at all and therefore the customers: a shame because afterwards everything is perfect
We had a great stay at this hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and plentiful.
I enjoyed my stay here a comfortable bed and good food plus friendly staff
room 12 bathroom in very poor condition toilet likewise, the bedroom wallpaper is peeling and really dated
The charm of a traditional cottage, very different for once from the impersonal hotel chains. The place is also sublime to discover.
Excellent welcome, cleanliness of the hotel and the room. Beautiful and very pleasant restaurant room. We enjoyed ourselves. Homemade dishes and good products. Very good stay. Thank you.
Only satisfaction and great kindness
Very warm welcome.
Top restaurant, top welcome, room (very poor bedding) on the other hand top bathroom Why don't the photos on your site correspond to reality?
Pay attention to the acoustics between rooms, or between corridor/stairs and room
Family and hearty cuisine. Good standard room. Value for money. Kindness of service. Exotic atmosphere, very rural.
Very warm welcome. Restaurant, delicious food. The Corrézien breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Hotel and restaurant to recommend. We will gladly return.
Excellent and warm welcome; family pension spirit
Beautiful establishment as we like them. The catering part is worth the palate. The service is simple without fuss but of quality.
Breakfast very good but cup too small to dip the croissant or the pain au chocolat. Otherwise the hotel is quiet and comfortable.
Overall nice hotel. Quite kitsch decoration, but nice. The standard room on the road side is sufficient for one or two nights. The whole hotel has an atmosphere from another time, but which has the advantage of creating a relaxing change of scenery. The restaurant offers good quality local cuisine. The continental breakfast is simple but sufficiently copious. Don't go there on purpose, but don't avoid it if you are passing through the city.
Nice hotel but a bit old. No elevator which is inconvenient for luggage.
real guesthouse in the good sense of the word pleasant room, good food and very attentive staff
Perfect, well located, welcoming, very good breakfast
Well located hotel, bring swimsuit. With the funfair at the beginning of August not far away, better insulation of the rooms would have been useful. I recommend.
Very good table. Very pleasant place.
Very friendly welcome, good breakfast.
Excellent welcome
Small charming family hotel, just as I like them! The decor is a bit heterogeneous but the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant... calm guaranteed!
Very well received, magnificent room, very generous breakfast, meal with local products... Wonderful and very calm... I recommend
Top hotel with swimming pool as a bonus. Meals and breakfast are plentiful and good. I highly recommend it.
In addition to the spider webs with their occupants I had to kill about ten flies that bit!! and covered in blood each time, a cockroach in the room and at 3:00 in the morning a curtain rod with its curtain fell with a crashing noise which scared us when we woke up....... very average ...... The outside is invaded by chickens/roosters and cats, it's more like a farmhouse accommodation than anything else, we didn't expect that. Fortunately it was only for one night for us, we couldn't have done more.
Perfect
Warm welcome in a beautiful house. The room was comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were very good. We also enjoyed the swimming pool. The price was attractive.
Excellent bedding. Very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is a plus.
Perfect hotel, just a little confusing. I will happily return, the setting is magnificent.
Quality of service, friendliness, and the friendly side of the chickens that roam freely behind the hotel.
We had booked a night with dinner. Everything is perfect. Comfortable room, relaxing time by the pool. Excellent dinner of quality and quantity. Breakfast with pastries or savory which was gargantuan. A quality/price ratio rarely seen. Perfect welcome and service. A home where you want to stay, to take time, of a very appreciable authenticity with its hens, chicks and cats. We will come back.
Very good hotel. I recommend.
The charm of an “old France” hotel! We feel good there. Note the originality of a beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by chickens, roosters, sheep and cats! Cock-a-doodle Doo !
Very disappointed by the welcome in this Hotel. The waitress was unfriendly, her work shoddy (she didn't put a spoon on the table, she threw it!) We were served milk for breakfast that had gone bad!! not even a word of apology. The butter for breakfast is placed on the tables the night before!! the fruits are completely rotten on their display. A hygiene control team should go there!! And breakfast only opens at 8:30 a.m., with the employee also arriving at that time, so you are only served at 8:50 a.m.!! because there is no buffet. It's very late when we have to hit the road. In short address to forget!!! Very very disappointed.
We loved sharing the hotel courtyard with the chickens and cats
An "old-fashioned, French-style" hotel, which is not negative, far from it...... comfortable, friendly with its free-range chickens and cats, providing a relaxed and country atmosphere in a very pleasant comfort and a friendly welcome. A good moment of relaxation.
we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel very close to Collonges la Rouge among the chickens and cats. very good value for money and excellent evening meal very generous breakfast pleasant welcome
Excellent welcome, beautiful establishment. We recommend the restaurant which is excellent and very generous.
Excellent welcome, but parking in the middle of the hens and no disabled access Wifi does not work
A very pretty address that deserves to be known. A few minutes from Collonge-la-Rouge (magnificent village!), this hotel is a real little gem with a bucolic atmosphere… you will come across chickens, chicks, sheep, cats and donkeys just like at home. The swimming pool is superb and the garden is very pleasant. My room was a delight. I will return there as soon as possible.
The food was excellent at dinner but not a great breakfast. We only had breakfadt once.
Good bedding, but the hotel is noisy. Couldn't rest as I should have. Slightly retro decor. However, very nice staff.
A nice hotel! Remarkable cuisine at reasonable prices. A welcome and kindness!
Very well located and restaurant a real plus.
Adorable!!!! Really nice
Very friendly welcome and professional service. Simple room, tasteful, good quality bedding, very good shower, but a refresh (bathroom) would be welcome. Excellent restaurant, efficient and friendly service, very good quality food and varied menu offering. Excellent Corrèze breakfast too!
Pleasant cuisine. Perfect vegetable cooking with my omelette
In town, but very quiet with a very pleasant and bright restaurant at the back with its large windows overlooking a beautiful wooded garden. Room on the second and last floor of a good size and large, very pleasant bathroom, well decorated but whose paint and shower seals need a little refreshing.
PERFECT HOTEL EXCELLENT CUISINE
A quiet hotel, nicely decorated with a friendly welcome and very well located for discovering the beauties of the region. The restaurant offers excellent menus.
Very nice little hotel where you feel at home. A special mention for the warm welcome and the extremely generous dinner. Breakfast also very good. Comfortable beds. We had a very good stay there.
The scent of a bygone era, simple but modern room, friendly welcome, careful meal, impeccable breakfast provided by Madame Delaunnay herself....
Warm welcome, local cuisine of very good quality, hardworking staff who enjoy welcoming their guests
We warmly thank Ms. DELAUNAY, the owner and her entire team for their warm and kind welcome to our group of 10 people.
Enjoy your stay at the Relais du Quercy Two small negative points: the bathroom is a little small. And the butter at breakfast is almost liquid, it would be necessary to take it out when customers arrive
I came back with a group, always a good welcome and very clean rooms.

A truly wonderful place. A young and very welcoming team, excellent food – we will definitely be back!
