Nothing to say! Hotel with careful decoration, impeccable cleanliness. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped (coffee maker) as needed. As is the bathroom. Water fountains are available to guests in the corridors (as well as candy :-)) The staff is very kind, welcoming and friendly. We will be back!

This was our second stay. This time in the most historic room 108. Very large room, you would think you were in a castle room, completely different from the Suite we had taken during our first visit. The welcome is always top notch, the place pleasant and the restaurant.... Worthy of a star! And the service staff very good. Very clean hotel but the service is a bit expensive, I find the menu expensive and the service much too fast, in the room you can hear the water flowing in the pipes when the rooms around you are using the water. The night is also quite expensive

Very pleasant hotel, with friendly and professional staff. The rooms are clean and practical. You can sit in the lounge to play board games, chat, listen to music while enjoying a drink. And you can have a good meal at the hotel restaurant. Dishes that are different from the ordinary, delicious. I recommend the all-you-can-eat breakfast with a lot of choice and some products are homemade. In this hotel we feel at home.

Very nice hotel, well-decorated room even if a little empty (a headboard would help to avoid this impression). Very good mattress, the pillows on the other hand are not. Very high-quality buffet breakfast.

Beautiful room and good quality dinner with attentive service. Breakfast was very limited at 9.00 as most food had already been eaten by other guests, which was disappointing considering service was until 10.00. We did request 2 croissants which were freshly baked for us.

A beautiful, human-sized hotel with attentive and very friendly staff. We stop here every year on our way down to the southwest. The restaurant is very good, with refined and delicious cuisine.

2nd stay, setting still as pleasant, a little disappointed by the food which had delighted us the first time. We asked for and received a quiet room, but several complex steps for some people.

We savored your menu of the day, with an unbeatable quality/price ratio. It was fine, gourmet, beautiful and good! If we had been able, we would have stayed a little longer to discover the rest of the menu. In any case, you will remain our essential stop when we return to your region!

Charming hotel...it's a shame that it's located on the edge of a busy little street, and therefore quite noisy in this hot month of August!

We loved this charming hotel. Michelin-starred cuisine.

Room in the attic with air conditioning, quite simple, but with a dog too many stairs to climb. After an excellent meal, I recommend the restaurant, super good, back to our room and surprise upon entering a smell of grease, invaded the room, really unpleasant, then several sockets did not work. I reported these two problems when leaving to the reception, apparently they were aware of the smell of cooking in the room.

The breakfast room is a bit cramped when it's busy and access to the buffet is difficult.

The establishment is still as charming as ever, but the restaurant has lost some of its splendor. It's a shame. The chef seemed absent, perhaps on vacation. The staff remains as friendly as ever. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A great place.

This hotel has a charming feel but could use some renovation. The mattress was sunken. The hygiene at breakfast was poor. Everyone was touching the bread because there was no cloth provided to place the bread on the baguette. The breakfast was very brief. It's a shame because with more care, the place would still be charming. It could be improved.

A lovely quiet town. The hotel is situated in a central position with plenty of parking available outside the entrance adjacent to the square. The bedroom was very spacious with a small separate sitting room both with access to a balcony which proved to be perfect as we were traveling with a dog. The Aircon was lovely as the weather hot. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant proved to be excellent and the breakfast very good. All in all a good choice and definitely one to repeat in the future. Thank you.

Intense heat in the room, where we had a fan... we were told since then that there was air conditioning, but we were not informed of this upon arrival, and it was not working. The stairs are not suitable for elderly people.

Excellent experience

Seduced by the recommendations of the 2024 guide, we set off to spend an extraordinary weekend (2 nights, 60 years of marriage). It turned out that the room was just passable, no air conditioning, hair in the shower and a disastrous anniversary meal (poorly prepared sweetbreads, almost raw prawns)... Our weekend was ruined.

Charming hotel in the heart of a very pretty village. Very beautiful and large room with a lovely view of the courtyard and balcony. Unfortunately, I took the Etape package and the evening meal (apart from the starter) was really not good! For the main course, I received raw fish and really not good at all, my plate left as it was and the waitress did not ask me why I had not eaten anything! Dessert ordinary .... Really a shame, I was hoping to eat well! On the other hand, an exceptional and really delicious breakfast with excellent quality fresh products.

Concernant le lieu et le personnel tout est parfait .
A savoir l'hotel n'est pas climatisé dans la totalité des chambres .Par ces forets chaleurs j'ai passé une nuit d'enfer meme si l'on m'a fourni un ventilateur .De plus j'ai été désagréablement surpris. Ma chambre n'avait pas un lit double mais 2 lits individuels.
Un très bon point pour la qualité de la restauration et du service .

Often traveling during the week, I love working in this region because the evening stopover at the Relais de la Mothe is my favorite, the place is a real haven of peace, the smiles and the kindness of the staff are so pleasant after a hard day, and the icing on the cake, the chef at the helm of the restaurant is breathtaking!! We enjoyed our brief stay at Relais de la Mothe is situated in the village of Yzeures-sur-Creuse. The hotel owner Isabelle is a great hostess and her restaurant is excellent. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the town of Le Roche Possay which definitely worth a visit, being situated on the Dordogne River with a magnificent view from the bridge over the river which is pedestrian friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Everything is great! The welcome is full of kindness. The rooms are very cute, very clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast, made with local products, is very tasty. It's hard to be negative, as this Logis ticks all the boxes for value for money and 100% enjoyment. A blend of traditional style and modern touches in the tones and good times with a Hostellerie with a human face, just the way we like it. We'll be back.

Very good reception by telephone and on site (Hélène in particular) pleasant establishment, good comfort, well-equipped rooms, quality breakfast. For the restaurant, we will come back to taste the specialties with pleasure, because the evening of our stay, it was Asian theme not very convincing without any possibility of having something else even with supplement, which we regretted because the menu was not very copious even if the price was very correct

Very good hotel with a very good welcome and very good service. On the other hand I was disappointed with the value for money of the restaurant: large shrimps described as "prawns" and a risotto which was just well-cooked rice with no hint of the taste of a risotto (in, parmesan etc). Too bad!

We unhesitatingly recommend the Logis Hôtel "Relais de la Mothe" in Yzeures-sur-Creuse, where we stayed (five nights) in August 2024. The rooms and communal areas are spotless, the welcome is friendly, caring and efficient. It is a small hotel full of charm, full of nooks and crannies, far from standardized chain hotels. There is no parking but this is not a problem: there are plenty of spaces available right in front of the hotel. It is pleasant to stroll around at breakfast when the weather allows it to be taken on the terrace. The buffet is not huge but the choice is satisfactory and the products are of quality and "homemade" for some of them. We had dinner two evenings at the hotel, again on the terrace: the menu is limited but everything is very good. Let's just point out that the staircase leading up to the upper floors is quite steep: I don't think there is a lift (although I'm not sure). This won't be a problem for most people, but it's worth mentioning. Finally, even if night traffic is sporadic in Yzeures-sur-Creuse, sensitive ears will need to close the window at night for rooms overlooking the street (the double glazing is very effective at reducing noise).

We had a great stay at the Relais de la Mothe. The setting is pleasant and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast there and we really enjoyed ourselves, tasty and very well presented dishes, hearty and delicious breakfast. Little extra, baby equipment is available on request (travel cot and high chair).

What a delightful hotel! We particularly appreciated the friendliness and helpful attitude of all the staff, who allowed us to sit over our very good dinner until well after closing time, and again even after we had checked out let us sit in the welcoming sitting room. We felt more like family friends than guests! Nice to have a decent coffee machine in the bedroom too.

Disappointed with the evening meal. The pork was just fat with noodles without any vegetables to accompany. The cheese for dessert would have deserved some dried fruit and a little jam. Too expensive for what we ate! A menu formula should be considered.

For our first stay we were spoiled ;-): kindness of the welcome, help with luggage, installation in the room, a very convenient bike shed. Time for a short bike ride and the sauna (booked in advance) was ready to welcome me. The gourmet dinner was another great discovery. In short: a 5 ***** stopover. Thank you for everything !
