Very small room. Expensive for the service.

A welcoming and friendly welcome, ideal location, clean rooms, beautifully decorated like the rest of the hotel... Like a little home. We really fell in love with this charming, human hotel.

Thin bedroom walls,tired decoration. Attached restaurant food poor, service poor. Lady in charge looked overworked and in need of some downtime.
Tiny wine glasses that would only fit a small sherry in. She did provide some slightly bigger when I asked.

Good hotel with a great welcome. Very nice, comfortable room and very well located hotel. We did everything on foot. It's a shame that breakfast and parking are not included in the price, especially for a room at €95 per night. Tourists would be delighted.

Noisy corridors and noisy faucets,

Superb welcome with lots of advice for our visits. Very friendly staff. Room facilities were adequate except for the bathroom which is outdated. Especially the shower stall. Allow 5 euros per day for municipal parking. Hearty breakfast served with good humor.

It's a very basic accommodation. Quite ugly. The receptionist barely likes to talk. You arrive, she looks at your reservation almost without speaking, takes you to your room, seeing that you're loaded with suitcases, and doesn't even offer to help since there's no elevator and there are three floors. The rooms are super, super, old, with just enough. The bathroom is super old and not clean. The shower doesn't work well; it's a shower tray with a curtain. Shower quickly. In short, don't stay here.

The accommodation as a whole is really nice but I only gave it 3 stars for the "Quality of accommodation" because the reversible air conditioning heating is unpleasant. It runs all night and, being located above the bed, woke me up with each cycle. However, we had set it to 22° (my wife is very sensitive to the cold!). It remains to be seen whether this "noise nuisance" continues during very hot weather using the "air conditioning" function. I would like to see 1 or 2 towel holders near the sink in the bathroom. Apart from that, everything is very good.

The bedroom was rather cramped with a very small space between the end of the bed and the wall.

The decor of the reserved room was a little outdated: it really is NOT important as the welcome and kindness of our hostess were warm. The smile and good humor are really in order in this charming little hotel. We also really appreciated the quality of the breakfast, coffee and tea were served to us at our table, which is rare! Dinner on the terrace with a view of the Dordogne: excellent! Very good cuisine and service (the aperitif was offered to us, which had never happened to us before!) We recommend without hesitation

Beynac-Cazenac fully deserves its membership in the "Most Beautiful Villages of France". The hotel "Le Pontet-Maleville" is charming, I love the old stones. The room (n°7) is quite small but it's okay, we were only there to sleep... In addition, the room is air-conditioned! The bathroom, on the other hand, is so small that we gave up the shower on the 2nd day, we waited until we got home! The staff is very friendly and cheerful, we received a lot of advice on visiting the surrounding area. I can't rate the breakfast, we only had coffee.

A hotel with charm and exceptional hospitality. The comfortable and very clean rooms, the generous breakfast and what can we say about the staff, except that the smile, kindness, helpfulness and professionalism were essential. I had a very nice stay both in the hotel and in the restaurant. A big thank-you. I recommend this establishment.

La señora muy agradable. Me ha atendido tan en español como en inglés y francés. A pesar de haber llegado más tarde de las 18:00, me preparo el código de entrada para que yo no tuviese ningún problema para entrar. Además, me regalo una copa en el restaurante asociado al hotel.
La habitación no fue de lo más grande, pero más que suficiente para mí, además teniendo en cuenta el tipo de edificio creo que es normal y las vistas del pueblo muy bonitas.
Es cierto que de desagüe de la ducha tarda un poco en tragar el agua, pero no os preocupéis, da tiempo de sobra para ducharse y no se desborda.
En general precio calidad muy recomendado.

The fact that despite having booked a superior King they gave me a standard one where you couldn't even turn around... the bathroom was literally 4 tiles... to get hot water in the shower you had to keep the tap open for 2 minutes of the sink and then open that of the shower... the expedient is suggested by a sign placed in the photos. They charged us 44 euros for breakfast without having previously communicated the cost, so I only discovered it when I paid... a breakfast that was worth a maximum of 7 or 8.

Excellent welcome. Very friendly staff, very attentive to customers. We feel a bit like home. Too bad the town hall does not provide free parking for hotel guests. Despite everything, you should know that the town hall allows a significant package compared to the price of parking. All this was very well explained upon our arrival at the hotel.

View of the DORDOGNE. Aperitif offered. Quiet place as long as everyone respects the other. Impeccable bedding. Decent breakfast with “mahousse” croissant and excellent whole milk yogurt. 2 car parks nearby but paying. Located in the beautiful town of BEYNAC ET CAZENAC.
