Accueil par un jeune homme correct mais sans plus. Le contact manquait de chaleur et d'enthousiasme.
Le maître d'hôtel était professionnel et a eu des mots plaisants envers nous. Nous avons apprécié.
Delphine, chargée des chambres et du petit-déjeuner, était très accueillante. Cela fait du bien.
La prestation au restaurant était magnifique. Le chef nous a régalés avec des produits d'excellente qualité: fraicheur, accords justes, audacieux
et délicieux. De la mise en bouche aux mignardises. Que du bonheur ! On sent une grande maîtrise et beaucoup de passion.

A lovely, authentic hotel, perfect for a stopover on your holiday road trip. The staff weren't very welcoming. It's a shame the pool wasn't open in the morning; luckily, we were able to use it in the afternoon upon our arrival.

Forced to cancel our stay due to a family member's health issues, we received neither compassion, nor understanding, nor any compensation, not even for the breakfasts we didn't eat, and of course, we were charged the full exorbitant price of this hotel.

Warm welcome, comfortable room and excellent dinner.

A lovely, comfortable hotel on the holiday route. The rooms are very functional and have been recently renovated. A swimming pool completes the amenities. The restaurant is classic and very attractive, serving generous portions of classic cuisine with a modern twist. A wonderful stop in the Creuse region.

Beautiful place, full of charm. For a longer stay, we would have requested a more spacious room, but it was very good for one night. The restaurant: delicious!

Warm welcome, excellent cuisine, I highly recommend it

The room was beautiful, and the dinner exceptional, but one member of staff was not up to the standard of the others. He must be the head waiter: unpleasant, lacking empathy, and bordering on impertinent. What a shame! This inn is otherwise exceptional, and I plan to return. If this gentleman is still there, I think it will be enough to simply ignore him.

In the lovely Gartempe valley, a comfortable hotel and a restaurant with delicious cuisine. An excellent find for this unexpected stopover.

We often stay at the NOUGIER hotel and restaurant, which we always enjoy. The rooms are welcoming and very clean. The restaurant is consistently excellent. The menus are sophisticated and delicious.

VERY GOOD, PLEASANT STAY

Lovely hotel. We are coming here for the fourth time. The rooms are a bit simple. Good beds and shower! The restaurant is (almost) Michelin-star level.

Despite a booking error, we received a very warm welcome from Mr. Nougier himself in the late afternoon! Beautiful room, excellent service, and a superb meal. What more could you ask for? Oh yes, the waiter was also outstanding.

The food was outstanding; we particularly enjoyed dinner. The hotel itself is a bit more basic but still comfortable. Excellent value for money for an overnight stay!

The restaurant is excellent. The room is clean and comfortable. One minor drawback is the bathtub, which isn't very accessible because the shower screen doesn't fold down.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we are always very satisfied. The owner and staff are getting to know us, which makes it easier to communicate.

No heating in this establishment, the owner is waiting a few more days before turning it on. So we had to eat dinner with our jackets on and the room was cold. In short, it was a freezing stay, which is a shame, given the quality of the food!

The coldest welcome from the receptionist. He was a waiter in the restaurant. Icy service in a freezing room. Not a single hello the next day at breakfast. Enough to scare off a regiment!! All this to the detriment of the discreet and courteous chef, who delighted us.

Very good restaurant. Disappointing due to the lack of heating (less than 18 degrees in the room). Unpleasant waiter/receptionist, it's such a shame...

I stay there once or twice a year for my professional activity and I wouldn't dream of changing! Always very good!

Everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived, with a well-equipped and spacious room (including for working). The evening meal was delicious, the service was excellent, and the breakfast delicious. In short, highly recommended.

The Hotel Nougier is always a very pleasant stop on our Lyon / Vendée route

When booking I clearly stated 1 person requires gluten free food. We were told the menu at 49euro per person was ' a surprise ' no choice it's fish ( good job no fish allergy but certainly not our choice for eating). On asking for gluten free bread to accompany the first course the waiter was totally impolite and dismissive. An expensive no choice meal totally ruined what should have been a lovely evening.
Again, at breakfast I provided suitable gluten free product, as no carbohydrates were available, for my husband and at 14 euro per person this is not acceptable. A totally overpriced experience with a very rude member of the staff
We certainly won't be returning. We usually are very complimentary about the Logis group. Not so here.
No effort is made at this hotel to understand the dietary requirements of travellers and there is no freedom of choice. This should be clearly advised and advertised on the Logis/hotel site

A terrible welcome and the pool access times didn't allow for morning use. A huge disappointment. Only the cleaning lady was pleasant.

Very good experience in an evening stopover

A very pleasant stopover, guaranteed peace and quiet. The staff is very welcoming and professional. The cuisine is bold and perfectly mastered, and you absolutely must try it; you won't be disappointed.

Pleasant, very good dinners

Beautiful establishment and excellent food. Just one downside: the room and restaurant are not very warm.

The evening meal was exceptional and though the wine list went off to wines with ridiculous prices, some were fairly reasonably priced and we were more than happy with the bordeaux we chose. Service was not fast but well worth the wait - it was cooked to perfection and was not the standard hotel fare in any way. The room and the hotel was very smart, clean and well decorated throughout. The only slight downside was the parking. I thought there was some private, payable parking but this was not mentioned when we arrived (and I forget to raise it) and we had by then parked at the front of the hotel and there no problems.

Establishment very well managed by the third generation of founders. I highly recommend Very good table and the head waiter is as we like a real pro who knows perfectly the dishes and wines that we offer and the service is well organized. 16 place settings all alone without waiting. The owner is quite off hand, perhaps it's the language barrier The room was very clean and adequate for a 2 night stay. It was very cold in the room with no heating, the shower was beautiful but luke warm. The door to the room was extremely difficult to open, I had to call someone to help me open the door as the key was stuck on several occasions. The breakfast was grossly over priced. A buffet breakfast with very little choice. A croissant, stale bread tea and coffee and a cold crepe if you were lucky. €13 for this is over priced. Overall disappointing.
