Very nice hotel in the center of Vichy. A friendly and very professional receptionist. Very clean room with very comfortable bedding! The only downside is the lack of scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Perfect travel hotel. Well-located, with its own private parking, and a good restaurant, this hotel allowed me to have a pleasant stay in Vichy, albeit short, but good. The only criticism I have of this hotel is the check-in time. Arriving a little early in Vichy, we had to wait for the hotel to open.

The manager and the receptionist were extremely rude to us and our customers that stayed. On checking out they tried to double charge us for rooms that were already paid for. We definitely will not be taking our customers there again to be spoken to like that or have our customers treated like that.

Very warm welcome and very helpful and attentive staff. It's a shame that the rooms aren't properly finished. The hotel doesn't accept e-holiday vouchers... otherwise, it's a very good location for sightseeing and the Vichy thermal baths. No need for a vehicle.

No air conditioning so opening the windows to get incessant noise in the street so no sleep and what's more when you go to the toilet upstairs you know about it

Hotel as I like them. Created in 1903 and well modernized. Friendly welcome. First-rate cuisine. Coffee in the room very appreciated. Too bad there is not a stopping place in front of the establishment, the time to take the necessary steps to register and unload the luggage.

Bathroom door to change

Hotel good overall with two drawbacks. The bathroom is very small and there is no space to store your things, but especially the service in the restaurant. Apart from the head waiter, the staff is not up to par and the service suffers. Starter served during the aperitif, plate removed before it is finished..... the start of the meal is very quick, too much, and after that it is the opposite. We have to wait for the group delivery of desserts I imagine. We waited more than half an hour for dessert, we were about to leave the table. The three-course meal lasted more than two hours, which is a lot. Too bad because the food is very good. Overall pleasant stay, very friendly reception staff, good breakfast......restaurant service to be improved.

Woke up to the scaffolding at 7am on Saturday morning... I find it hard to believe that the work was not scheduled. Too bad they took the time to warn us.

Parking was straight forward. Meet and greet at reception was very good. Room ok bathroom appalling, dirty outdated pipe work in shower split very claustrophobic. Not hotels faulty 07.30hrs Saturday morning scaffolding being erected extremely load, not a good start to the day. Saturday evening we had our evening meal in the restaurant, service was excellent and food was also extremely well cooked.and well presented. Check out was a bit difficult as the lady at reception added four breakfasts on to our bill which we had to explain that we had not used the breakfast facilities on either day. Overall nice weekend away but would not stay at the hotel again.

Mrs Schmitt at reception helped us a lot to get our things back that we had left in the safe! We drove 450km the next day and only noticed it when we saw the safe in the next hotel... We would like to thank Mrs Schmitt very much for her commitment and helpfulness!!! We look forward to being back in Vichy very soon. Merci beaucoup!!!!

We were disappointed by the room, many traces of mold in the corners, aging wallpaper, defective equipment (the mini fridge), the quality of the bedding (a bed too soft), a bathroom in its original state with the toilets that are too low, not up to standard. What a shame! This hotel has great assets: close to the city center and the thermal baths, a paying car park nearby, a breakfast with choice and quality products. A hotel lobby in an elegant period style.

Fabulous location and lovely staff, but the room we stayed in was very tired. Ripped curtain, odd bathroom door and grout in shower needs replacing. The bed however, was very comfortable and the staff very welcoming.

We were here for the third time and were again greeted very warmly by the receptionist who spoke good German. The hotel, an old, neoclassical building with French charm, is located in the center of Vichy. The not very large room faced a side street and was quite quiet at night, even with the window open. The bed was good, the bathroom, separated by a "western saloon swing door", not very large, with a shower and toilet, but functional and clean. Overall, everything made a neat and clean impression. The breakfast was very plentiful. The hotel's own car park is in the immediate vicinity and is locked at night. The location of the hotel is very nice, you can walk to the river park or the thermal baths as well as lots of shops and restaurants. (However, a good evening meal is also possible in the hotel restaurant.) The hotel is not a new, modern design hotel, but rather a somewhat older hotel with a lot of French charm.

Room clean with large bed but dated decor and no air conditioning (except opening the window!). Bathroom only adequate. For vintage lovers! No doubt a very nice establishment in 1948, but today everything is outdated! A bathroom with an openwork swing door at the top and bottom leaves little room for privacy. The restaurant is good and the staff helpful and welcoming.

Very disappointing accommodation, tiny room with bathroom with a western door. No soundproofing, we were woken up at 6 a.m. by the footsteps of everyone leaving the neighboring rooms. Poor quality of bedding. The only positive point is the sympathy of the staff who were sorry for us.

Each time we pass through Vichy we stop at this hotel which we love very much. That said, despite the excellent welcome, the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds, an update of the rooms would not be a luxury, especially the replacement of the bathroom doors (saloon type swing doors which do not fit from the ground to the ceiling... ).

Room 408 a noise (certainly VMC) very loud all the time perhaps the motor is just above the room since it is the top floor. Also the wallpaper with traces of dirt. But on the other hand very clean room.

The hotel was very dated. The weather was warm and the duvet was much too thick for the climate.. The floor boards creak . The shower had lots of dials and knobs but wasn't very good and the bathroom door didn't shut properly.The parking was fine and the hotel was n good position.

The hotel had to be modernized, but this is not recent, it shows. It's best not to look around corners. The layout of the tiny bathroom is rather basic, even if it is complete as well as that of the bedroom. The sink faucet is leaking. Breakfast is hearty. The elevator is a plus. On the other hand, carpet doesn't seem very appropriate these days. For one night, and for the price, it can still be done. pass. Too bad we didn't try the restaurant.

Very good hotel, too bad no air conditioning in the room and we really had a hard time falling asleep. Even if a fan is installed in the room. Otherwise nothing to complain about, dinner and breakfast very good. Having an electric car I was also able to do additional charging at night for a modest sum of 5 euros. And what's more, very well located in the center with private parking.

Welcoming hotel, very professional staff, very generous breakfasts and impeccable quality. leaves something to be desired: condition of the showers, wall wallpaper, carpeted floor and ESPECIALLY NO AIR CONDITIONING, stay a little spoiled by the heat on the 4th floor, impossible to open the windows before 2 a.m. because of the noise of the city and music on Saturday night ! Despite our comments, no commercial gesture, even if only for our dog which cost 20 euros for 2 nights! It's expensive for a Chihuahua. Otherwise well located close to the remarkable city center.

Just what was annoying was that the door between room 201 and the bathroom did not close properly, when reopening, when one or the other went to the toilet during the night, the light and the noise woke the other sleeper.

Belle Epoque style hotel consistent with the style of the city. Very courteous reception. Quiet room but not favored in summer by global warming as it is not equipped with air conditioning. Being in a narrow street, if the reserved place in front of the hotel is occupied, it may be difficult to stop. However, the hotel is equipped with private paid parking.

It was not a very pleasant experience.
I booked a room, breakfast and dinner and once I went to the hotel for the check in they said I couldn’t get the dinner “because it was only for workers”, even though I received an email for confirmation.
