Comfortable room lovely meal in the restaurant

We had a wonderful, peaceful overnight stay with a fantastic dinner. We've been here a few times before and hope to return. It's a shame that only one option is given for why this hotel was chosen; there are several reasons.

WARM WELCOME RELAXING PLACE

Hello, very nice place with a beautiful courtyard and a beautiful park..... Disappointed by the room: - DAMP bedding - Toilet brush not quite clean - No window in the toilet, VMC not powerful enough - The window of the room has not been opened for 10 years...!...big old cobwebs.!. The person who serves breakfast never smiled, and did not even look at people In the restaurant: the little waiter and the lady of a certain age who served on the terrace were very pleasant, on the other hand: too much waiting between dishes and not hot enough, or even barely warm...

Needs a bit of updating regarding the sanitary facilities Ex: Large bathtub with the bar for the shower head which no longer holds very well to the wall Otherwise the setting is magnificent and very calm and relaxing

Very comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet location. Service exceptional from all staff. The food is excellent quality with great use of local produce. This was our third stay here and we will continue to come back if these standards are maintained

Magnificent setting, refined dining and perfect room

Great location in the quiet countryside about an hour from Caen ferry. Cuisine was amazing with chef cooking on feu du bois in the hearth in the dining room. Atmospheric old buildings in the Normandy manor style. Great sleep!

We were very happy with our stay which was a overnight stop on the first day of our holiday. Very confortable room and excellent food. We will certainly return if we are taking a similar route in the future.

This is a charming hotel in a beautiful rural setting. The French family who own and run it are very welcoming. The cuisine is based on superb local products and cooked to the highest standards. We had a very enjoyable stay here.

We arrived at this beautiful manor house, the host was warm and welcoming.
The accommodation was very clean.
The food tasted lovely, it was cooked on the fire
Right in front of us and was presented well on the plate.
I would definitely recommend staying at this manor house and restaurant.
Good value for money, will be back in the future.

Though we only stayed one night as we traveled between sites, this was a very pleasant experience. Sorry we were not able to stay longer. The facility isa 400 year old manor house with additional out buildings, The property is very pleasing, the staff (owners) was very accomidating with us. The restaurant was very good, main courses were prepared over the fireplace (cooking the meats) in the room. Quite an experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

A calm and peaceful place in a charming residence

This Logis is ideally located 30 minutes from the coast of Les Havres and its beautiful fine sandy beaches and right next to Villedieu les Poêles where a visit to the bell foundry is a must as well as the Copper Workshop where you will witness the production of handmade copper kitchen utensils. The welcome is very warm. The room is comfortable and beautiful, calm reigns there and the very good quality bedding offers you what you need to spend very restful nights. As for the restaurant, the menus offered by the chef suggest a discovery of local recipes made with regional products, it is plentiful and tasty. All in a very cozy, timeless decor which gives the room equipped with tablecloths, an active fireplace a special cachet where it is good to be. In addition and according to your choice, the game is served in a small copper saucepan from ... Villedieu les Poêles obviously allowing the meat to retain the heat until the end of the dish, the must! Everything is homemade, right down to the Chantilly cream for dessert... we had almost forgotten the delicious taste of REAL Chantilly cream. Breakfast is also plentiful and very good. In short, you will have understood, we are won over and delighted by this establishment. Thank you to the entire team at the Manoir de l'Acherie for the quality of your services, cuisine, welcome, service, comfort, cleanliness, equipment, value for money, ... I give 10 everywhere because there is really nothing to review, everything is perfect.

A brilliant family run hotel and restaurant a great find serving local produce cooked over an open fire spacious rooms on the negative side the Wi-Fi was very weak and the room was cold it had 2 radiators but they were lukewarm

A very nice hotel in a super quiet and relaxing place. Quality cuisine, all in an "old" but comfortable environment. Varied breakfast, according to your wishes. I recommend without fear.

Very clean room, big bed quality bed linen. Electric sockets not really compatible with British adaptors..too loose.

Beautiful environment, in a very pleasant and quiet setting. Friendly welcome. Spacious comfort room, clean bathroom, suggestion for improvement: a shower screen rather than a shower curtain. Possibility of charging your electric vehicle, which is a plus these days and is part of choosing a hotel. Good restaurant. Very good value for money for the whole night, meal, breakfast.

Beautiful, quiet and very pleasant place. The only downside was that we had dinner in the dining room right next to the wood fire and it was too hot, thinking the whole meal was in August and that there was another cooler, empty restaurant aisle next door. Lots of flies that day too. Too bad!

what a sumptuous place, small castle hidden in Normandy! plus its a very gastronomic dinner which you would have change to taste there!

Our first stay at this location. A beautiful Manor House, very quiet, very spacious accommodation, really comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, lovely furnishing. We had the most delicious locally sourced home cooked meal. We will definitely go back.

A lovely hotel in old manor house. The rooms have been tastefully and nicely decorated and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The proprietor and all his team (I think his family) were charming. The meals were excellent and served in a delightful and traditional manner, the accompaniments were explained and were often quite specialist. There was obviously a great deal of care taken in the selection and preparation of these. The chef cooked all the dishes that involved cooking on a wood fire in the dining room in the large fire place.

We loved the place as soon as we saw it. Great location and ambience. Rooms were large, the beds even larger and very comfy. The restaurant was just superb - both in terms of the architecture and the menu.

Family run hotel restaurant and very welcoming indeed. No English but they were exceedingly careful with clear slow French. Restaurant was interesting with food cooked on open fire in dining room. Very goo value indeed.

This is an excellent hotel with a warm and welcoming arrival plus great attention to ensure that were well looked after and that we had a wonderful time throughout our stay over four nights. The food is amazing and we could not get enough of the cidre sauce that accompanied the pork dish. Indeed, the whole menu was amazing as we tried most of it. A big well done to the hotel team and chef.

Hotel very well located in the countryside for easy access to Mont Saint Michel, the Abbeys including that of "La Lucerne d'Outremer", the fishing and marina port of Granville (with destinations for the Channel Islands), Avranches , Coutances etc... The coast and beaches are close. The restaurant offers an elegant setting with a large fireplace lit for lunch and dinner during our stay in April for 3 nights. The menus and the menu allow you to have a good time and the "homemade" is a credit to the chef and his team. In summary, only good.

Excellent surprise! Very friendly welcome in this manor well hidden in the Normandy countryside. Very clean and very comfortable rooms. Top restaurant, excellent quality of dishes and service. We had a wonderful time there with my wife, and we will definitely come back as soon as possible...

I work in 18 departments, I only go to Logis; I don't know of any others with this level of quality and service.
