They refused to admit us before the 5pm curfew and didn't even offer to store our luggage.
Excellent welcome!
Great welcome, amazing restaurant, very simple but clean rooms.
Nice managers. Very friendly. Had a lovely meal outside under a sort of veranda. Fan in the room, but it was still warm. Didn't miss anything. It is a very quiet area.
The room was okay, but a bit basic. Everything worked fine (and the shower pressure was surprisingly good), but many things seemed overdue for maintenance. The shower doors were hard to close properly, because they were loose in their frame. The main door to the room jammed terribly. Some power sockets were loose. There were some exposed plugs (for screws) where clearly a towel hook was supposed to be.
The cleanliness could use some improvement. It was clean just fine, but some of the less used places were just dusty, and the floor wasn't particularly clean.
The bed was comfortable, but the sheets were maybe a bit rough at first.
There was no air conditioning and it had been very hot prior to my arrival. The hosts had done their best to air out the room as well as they could, but it stayed quite hot and humid, even in the days afterwards when it had cooled down a bit.
The staff was generally super helpful, kind, and accommodating. In the restaurant they creatively combined parts of dishes to cater to my wishes. The only hickup I had was that checkout was supposed to be from 8 AM, but there was no one to be found and it took a while to get them on the phone, so I had a tiny delay, but again, they were very accommodating and solved the situation well, by allowing me to leave the key and just pay my open bill later.
It's impossible to consider this hotel up to the standards of your Logis Hotel chain: the room smelled musty, the shower was moldy, there wasn't even a disposable drinking cup, and no air conditioning. Dinner and breakfast were not served on Sunday evening or Monday morning. The manager recommended the bakery next door, which was closed on Mondays. This is unacceptable.
Excellent welcome, I highly recommend it for the staff and the room.
The stay was acceptable considering the price in high season, but the room overlooked the restaurant and kitchens, so there was noise, and since there was no air conditioning, the window couldn't be closed. The television reception was very poor, and the screen was quite small.
A very pleasant welcome. The staff were very attentive. You can tell they genuinely want to please their customers.
It's a charming, clean, and very pleasant hotel.
One major drawback: lack of air conditioning
Outdated and without air conditioning during the heatwave, we were unable to stay in this room.
Schade, dass das Hotel erst um 17 Uhr öffnet. Der Betreiber ist superfreundlich. Allerdings gibt es wohl zu wenig Personal. Das wirkt sich negativ aus.
No air conditioning, so the temperature in the room was unbearable. The bathroom is outdated; for €92 a night, we expected better.
The room and bathroom were clean. I recommend it. Parking is easy, there's a car park. If you come back late, no problem, there's a code. Just be aware that breakfast isn't served on weekends in March, but there are two bakeries nearby where you can have coffee or tea and pastries so you don't leave hungry. I recommend taking a stroll in the park near the hotel; there are some beautiful, well-crafted wooden sculptures and a lovely market hall. We loved the half-timbered construction of the hotel.
I have been a logis member for some time, as i often work in France. The standard of accommodation was terrible, bed, furniture, showe, bathroom and decor.
Honestly it was like a bad hotel from the 1970s.
I actually cant believe the Logis Group allow this hotel to use their name.
Worse still i twice emailed the hotel looking to book a table in the restaurant for dinner. The only reason i stayed was that they stated their restaurant gourmand was open on a Monday. This was a lie, their restaurant was closed. Instead i was offered food cooked earlier in the day, with no choice whatsoever.
I would not have stayed at this hotel had i known the restaurant was shut.
We received a very warm welcome and also had dinner there in the evening. The meal was very good and well served.
Quiet place, exceptional meal, very warm welcome
The property turned out to be closed and not booked. The employee wasn't interested when we arrived. After a few phone calls, the owner agreed to prepare a room. We did have to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive, though. However, we didn't want to be the only guests in the hotel, without any amenities, and on our own. A very disappointing reception. The owner was also pleased that we were looking for another option. When you're standing at the door, you don't really want to spend a night in this hotel. The hotel's appearance is somewhat frightening.
Very warm welcome, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit old-fashioned with a few small things to change (toilet bowl not stable, shower walls that don't stay closed). The hotel is very well located and the town is very pretty, I recommend this establishment.
Warm welcome from the owners, the clean room offers everything you need for 2 nights in this typical Landes hotel! The "homemade" restaurant adjoining the hotel offers very good quality dishes.
The managers are very welcoming. The hotel is very clean, quiet and well located.
Perfect
The hotel is a bit dated and needs a lot of work. It's convenient, with a good restaurant. Fortunately, the two new owners are friendly and dynamic, and they'll be able to improve things.
Great experience, the managers are super nice and accommodating. The restaurant is delicious!
Well-kept rooms and excellent value for money. The restaurant is top-notch.
Guillaume and Fanny are very welcoming, always with a smile, and do everything to satisfy their guests!!! We booked at the last minute on their website, and arrived 15 minutes later... no time to turn around to prepare our room... but there is always a solution!!! Breakfast... for all tastes!!! Sweet, Savory, Coffee, Tea, Milk... croissants, fresh bread, homemade jams... all inside or on the very pleasant outdoor terrace!!! Thank you both!!! We really recommend this warm little place!!!
Excellent place to stop for one night, restaurant + hotel + breakfast. Nothing to complain about, you can go there with your eyes closed. We were welcomed perfectly, with a smile, the rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom needs a little refresh but it's largely tolerable. Thank you for your welcome and we will definitely come back!
Welcome, local meals, Landes style, very beautiful building
Very well located hotel, very friendly welcome.
Very pleasant establishment, warm welcome and excellent cuisine.
Very good except for the lack of air conditioning and a slightly noisy street!
