Very pleasant hotel and excellent service

The room was very nice, the welcome was great, and the food was excellent.

A family-run hotel. The staff are attentive, responsive, and helpful. The room decor isn't necessarily to my taste, but the rooms are well-maintained. The hotel is well-located, at the entrance to Joyeuse, so it's easily accessible.

Excellent stay in the southern Ardèche near the three rivers. A bonus for the swimming pool and the restaurant (the chef's caillette is excellent).

kindness and competence at all levels

In the middle of a heatwave, paying €4.50 for a bottle of water at the bar at 11 pm was a bit much! The hotel needs renovation, especially for a 3-star. The cleaning staff come straight into the room to clean! Meh… The pool and shaded area were great, but the room was a bit dated, though the bedding was very comfortable. Having stayed in 3-star hotels before, we noticed there was no bottle of chilled water upon arrival, and no mini-fridge, coffee maker, or teapot in the room. The welcome was warm, no complaints there.

We had a very pleasant stay; all the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Our only minor complaints were the lack of a shower and the insufficient number of electrical outlets in the room, but the staff kindly lent us a power strip – thank you to them! The meals were very good and plentiful.

Everything was great, the welcome, the cleanliness :) One small drawback: no fridge in the room but otherwise everything was perfect!

A very pleasant hotel. The food was excellent, featuring regional products. There's a large swimming pool with a spa and the option to have drinks right by the poolside. The garden is large with magnificent trees. We booked two connecting rooms, which was a real plus. The staff responded perfectly to the request for the bedside lights, which weren't working when I arrived. The bathroom is a bit dated. Ordering at the restaurant took a little while, but this was more than compensated for by the very pleasant and cheerful waiter.

A very warm welcome and very pleasant people

The staff were incredibly friendly, the place was very clean, and the pool was fantastic. My dog loved it too; everyone welcomed her warmly. We definitely want to come back!

A lovely place; the hotel could use some updating, but it's still quite pleasant for a multi-day stay. However, I don't understand why hotels struggle so much to provide reliable Wi-Fi, especially in the surrounding areas like the garden, terrace, and pool.

A request for gluten-free bread was granted via email, but the breakfast reception couldn't find it. Disappointing. The bed was too narrow and shallow, and the mattress was mediocre. We didn't sleep well. The balcony was dirty, and there were no cushions on the chairs. The carpets and decor are very outdated, while the outdoor area is more modern. The Wi-Fi was frequently too slow or barely worked in the rooms at the back. There was a lack of storage space, especially in the bathroom.

A pleasant hotel with a lovely pool. The room is comfortable and the air conditioning works well. The staff is very friendly. The shower is a bit small for anyone over 1.90m tall.

Very warm welcome and pleasant staff! Sufficient breakfast with quality products. The price of the hotel night is good value for money with access to the river, swimming pool and jacuzzi! Negative points: it lacks a small coffee maker and a courtesy tray but ESPECIALLY a small fridge which would be very nice with temperatures approaching 50 degrees (heatwave) !!!! The air conditioning is functional but not placed in the right place to have optimal functionality. Otherwise the rest is great! 👌

I received a particularly warm welcome at the Hôtel des Cèdres! A warm welcome, attentive service. Kindness, and the staff are attentive to your every need. A little extra for the pool and the very pleasant outdoor area for dining or having breakfast. The hotel may be a little dated overall in terms of its facilities. But you'll have a great time there regardless!

Very nice hotel well located at the entrance to the village with many services (swimming pool, spa, bowls, volleyball, etc.)

Very good apart from the problem of being in the same room as a slightly noisy staff member late in the evening. Otherwise, pleasant setting, good food.

Too bad! Everything was nice but the noise of the cars late and then very early prevents you from leaving the window open!

Very warm welcome, very clean room, practical jacuzzi with beautiful view of the park and birdsong. Village of character to discover and very good Belgian chip shop to try; very friendly staff.

Very, very warm welcome. An overnight stay. The meal was very good and plentiful. Plus, we slept really well there! What more could you ask for! :)
