A very nice, pleasant hotel with a superb view of Fort Louvois. The owners are very friendly.

Passing through for just one night, we appreciated the location and the room with a sea view.

We had a pleasant stay at the Terminus Hotel. The location is remarkable. The hotel is clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the service and food are of good quality.

A family-run hotel that perfectly suited our needs, where we felt completely at ease with attentive staff, both in the hotel and in the restaurant.

"For the price, the stay was decent with pleasant service and a clean room, but the maintenance left much to be desired: peeling wallpaper, bathroom grout that needs replacing or cleaning, one evening without hot water, and few electrical outlets, one of which was faulty, with a temperamental switch. Overall, it was okay, but several maintenance points need improvement."

Very welcoming. The owners and staff are attentive, very kind, and always go the extra mile for the guests. The hotel is well located, with a beautiful view and is quiet. We slept very well during our three nights. We recommend it 100%.

A village festival was taking place right outside the hotel. Parking near the hotel was impossible. There was noise late into the night and early in the morning. The hotel did not inform us about the festival. We would have chosen a different hotel if we had known.

Despite the very average bedding, the "effective" bathroom without a partition, and the outdated decor, we will remember the very warm welcome and the smile of the owner.

Excellent personalized welcome. The manager was available and attentive. The cuisine was excellent, the service friendly, and the view of the sea.

Stunning view of Fort Louvois. A pleasant hotel, but not quite like the Logis hotels we're used to. The hotel is nice because of its location, but it could use a fresh coat of paint, or even more. It wouldn't take much... and a curtain in the bathroom to block out the strong sunlight would be more than necessary in room 3. The owner is welcoming, but his wife is a bit distant and not very diplomatic in her tone with customers at the bar. However, everything is done to ensure the comfort of the guests.

Friendly welcome, quiet place you'll want to come back to

Wonderfully atmospheric location, surrounded by water and with its intriguing history of having been the train/ferry terminal before the bridge to the île d’Oléron was built.

From May 1st to 3rd, 2026, we received an excellent welcome from all the staff, with a special mention for our very attentive host. We stayed in the room with a view of the magnificent Fort Louvois, illuminated in blue! The room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the traditional cuisine, were very happy with our stay, and will return soon.

Charm of Logis de France hotels

A simple and comfortable hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet with a magnificent view. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with quality products, including homemade cakes and bread and pastries from a local bakery. In the evening, we ate at the hotel restaurant, which served good quality, well-prepared dishes. The service was efficient without being intrusive. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The hotel is ideally located on the seafront... however, it's dated: the rooms could use a makeover and some dampness treatment. On the plus side, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent.

The hotel faces the harbor if you're lucky enough to get a room with direct access; otherwise, the rooms on the side still offer a pleasant view. The rooms are standard, no frills, and quiet during my stay in February. The food is good and of high quality.

Very warm welcome, very comfortable bedding, excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, only jam was missing. Quiet location overlooking the harbor. However, it's a shame we were cold all night; there was clearly a heating problem. A small gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. We also would have preferred a shower rather than a bathtub.

Ideally located for us in relation to Fort Louvois! Everything was perfect.

Warm welcome and service. Simple meal at the restaurant with fresh fish. The room overlooking the harbor, behind, is pleasant even if you hear the fishing boats leaving before low tide (in the evening for us) and returning at high tide (early in the morning). Simple breakfast but everything you need. Good value for money!

Particularly noteworthy is the quality of the welcome, thanks to the staff, who are not only professional but truly warm. For a small hotel, the breakfast buffet is varied. The restaurant is of high quality.

Friendly welcome, very good value for money. I recommend it.

It is unpleasant to pay 90€ because you went through booking, while the price of the room displayed on the door is 75€. When I inform the manager, the latter openly tells me that she is making me pay the booking commission, that all hotels act like that. I should have cancelled booking and paid it directly to have the normal price. In addition, I still left 180€ between the room, dinner and breakfast. As I told her, "without booking I would never have come to your hotel." In my opinion it is not good not to respect the rules of the game and to fleece a customer who trusts the system.
