Wir sind rundum zufrieden, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und sehr gut gegessen. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation konnte auch auf Deutsch geführt werden, einfach alles sehr angenehm.

It is in a lovely location, right on the river and a short walk from the Vienne. The hotel room was fine. Not great, not awful. The general areas were very good, spotless and bright.

The restaurant meal was OUTSTANDING. Though the choice is limited to two options for each course, we had one of everything between us and it was all excellent. Perfectly cooked scallops and prawns, fantastic foie gras, freshest rainbow trout and the tenderest and tastiest pork fillet Wellington. Excellent cheese course and amazing deserts. Fine wine selection and very full drinks menu too.

What a hidden gem! We will definitely return if we are anywhere close in the future.

Good welcome, good cuisine with good products. The only downside is that the wine list is not suitable for stopovers, it is too expensive.
