Restaurant Joséphine

- It's a real shame that the staff becomes unfriendly if you don't want to eat dinner at the hotel. - If there's a sticker in the bathroom saying that towels you want replaced can be thrown on the floor, they should actually be replaced and not hung back up! - Breakfast was available until after 10:00 AM. However, twice by 8:45 AM, there was no freshly cut fruit left, and it wasn't replenished despite us asking. - We booked an upgrade to a superior double room with two single beds and a double room with a king-size bed. Unfortunately, the rooms were switched. - Used glasses were not replaced during our stay.

We had an excellent stay; the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was excellent. Thank you, we had a pleasant stay at your hotel.

Excellent romantic getaway! The upgrade upon arrival was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's facilities are perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. The restaurant is excellent, with an eclectic menu and consistently high quality. If I had to make one minor criticism, it would be the presence of twin beds instead of a double bed in the room. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return for another romantic weekend in Alsace.

For a 4-star hotel, I was a little disappointed. The bathroom and toilet were very old; a shower would be better than an old bathtub. The breakfast room was cold at 9 am and there were too many missing items. The pool was cold. It's located in a pretty, quiet village.

My partner and I came to spend one night. Everything was great (reception, pool, restaurant, quality of the bedding). The only slight drawback was the lack of shutters, so we were woken up by daylight, but that's just a minor detail.

Truly a great place!

We were delighted with our stay at this very comfortable and quiet hotel, ideally located for sightseeing and hiking. The pool is magnificent and the spa very pleasant. The winstub restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast was perfect. Our only minor criticism: the room decor is a little too plain for our taste. In the heart of this beautiful region, we would have expected a more traditional setting. But that's simply a matter of taste, as everything else was spotless!

The hotel is very good, the food is good, just disappointing regarding the spa! The pool was freezing and the jacuzzi was cold and out of order.

We had a very good stay. The establishment was very clean, the staff friendly and attentive, the breakfast excellent, and the relaxation area very nice. However, a major drawback was the jacuzzi, which was very cold; it should be at least 35 degrees Celsius. It's a shame because everything else was great, and unfortunately, this is the only reason we won't be returning.

Jacuzzi unfortunately out of order. Restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The rest remains satisfactory.

As always, a very pleasant stay, we will be back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were in excellent condition. The food in the brasserie was very good. The spa area is a bit small, but it was never so crowded that one couldn't feel comfortable.

Everything is perfect: location, quality, atmosphere, etc. Two points for improvement: the reception is a little cold and the shower grout isn't very clean. But these are really minor compared to all the other qualities of this hotel.

Very good experience, quality of services, swimming pool and sauna, top restaurant. The welcome is generally very good.

The room was very dark becsuse the blinds did not open. The door didnt look automatically so the door to our room stayed sometimes open. Fortunatly nothing was stolen.

This is at least the seventh time I have stayed at this hotel, and the experience is extraordinary every time: elegance, a warm but discreet welcome, kindness and friendliness from the entire team... The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the brasserie offers generous local meals made with quality products, the gourmet restaurant offers extremely well-executed traditional French dishes. A haven of peace, a true bubble of serenity: a weekend is enough to regenerate!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a great time relaxing. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the staff throughout the hotel were courteous, and the rooms were spacious and quiet. The pool complex with its outdoor area and separate sauna area was fantastic. (It can get crowded if all the guests arrive at once. :) ) The hotel restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday, but St. Hippolyte also has other nice restaurants.

Nous avons récemment dîné au restaurant Joséphine - Hôtel Le Parc à Saint-Hippolyte, et malheureusement, notre expérience a été bien en dessous de nos attentes, surtout compte tenu de la réputation de l’établissement et du prix du menu.
Nous étions les premiers clients à arriver, dès 19h, car nous aimons dîner tôt. Malgré cela, nous avons dû appeler la serveuse pour passer commande. Nous avons choisi le menu complet à 76 € (hors vin), mais nous avons été très surpris et déçus de constater que des clients arrivés 30 à 40 minutes après nous étaient servis bien plus rapidement – certains recevant même leur dessert avant que nous ayons notre plat principal.
Nous avons eu le sentiment d’être « punis » pour avoir pris le menu complet plutôt qu’un plat à la carte. De plus, la portion de notre plat principal était nettement plus petite que celle des clients ayant commandé un seul plat.
Vers 21h, après avoir attendu près de deux heures et vu d'autres tables finir leur repas, nous avons quitté la table sans prendre le dessert. Aucun membre du personnel ne nous a présenté d'excuses, comme si cette situation était parfaitement normale.
À ce niveau de prix, nous attendions un service attentionné, un minimum de considération et un vrai sens de l’accueil. Malheureusement, nous sommes repartis frustrés, ignorés et déçus

The rooms were very clean and had new bathrooms. The place is in a great location with a beautiful view over the plain. The staff was extremely friendly. It's great that there are two good restaurants on site, where you can also enjoy a drink in the afternoon and evening. We'd love to come back!

The hotel, restaurant, and facilities are truly excellent. Its location allowed us to explore all of Alsace.

Room 124, above the sidewalk ventilation, is too loud. Note: The gourmet restaurant is only open Wednesday to Saturday. Otherwise, it's just the Winstub. What a shame...

We had a very pleasant stay discovering Alsace. The restaurants offered two different atmospheres. The staff was very attentive. There was a wide selection at breakfast. They even had Ricoré cheese. It's a shame the jacuzzi was out of order. Thank you to the entire team for the stay.

Very warm welcome. Very comfortable room and perfect bedding. But it's a shame that the jacuzzi was out of service, the hammam was off, and we found ourselves with naked residents in the sauna despite the rules.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff, clean and large rooms, both diner and breakfast were great (fantastic kitchen) and a huge variety in local wines. Swimming pool is nice, a bit small though . But overall definitely a hotel we will be coming back to.

Spa at very low temperature. Pool water at 31 degrees. Jacuzzi water, which was also faulty, at 30 degrees. Breakfast very disappointing for a 4-star establishment.

We ordered white wine in the room and then a little bit of blackcurrant in a cup. The price of the wine charged was more expensive than the one on the menu and the blackcurrant was charged 8 euros!! At the restaurant the waitress was in a hurry and brought and removed the dishes quickly, I couldn't even ask for something, she was running around so much. The jacuzzi wasn't working, the water was 31 degrees, and there was no water in the hammam to rinse the seat. We found that the reception staff were not sympathetic about this, no small gesture of goodwill, especially for a 4-star hotel! We also had an adjoining balcony with 2 other rooms, this was not made clear to us beforehand.

The hotel is beautifully located on the Alsace Wine Route, perfect for exploring the region. Modern, tasteful, and functional rooms. Excellent breakfast, bar, and good service. German and French are spoken equally. Restaurant Josephine offers two menus to choose from. Next time, however, we would prefer the wine bar, also because of the regional cuisine.

Frühstück war okay aber nicht besonderes, in Frankreich sollte es mehr Käse Auswahl geben.

Very nice hotel, very welcoming staff, the "spa pool hammam" area is great. On the other hand, room 101, although of good standing, is a disaster when the restaurant is open. It overlooks the kitchens, so there is a terrible noise until 1:30 at night. In addition, the room was unbearably hot (heating off) and we slept with the window open with 5 degrees outside. This inconvenience caused a headache and ruined our stay.

Two nights in this hotel where we come at least once a year. I already congratulate all the staff who work there because everyone is pleasant, smiling and enjoys taking care of your well-being. A little word in particular for Christelle but also to the management, a charming lady who loves her job. How nice it is to find such values. I therefore advise everyone to go and spend some time in this place and to share the idea that by coming we are not a job for the team but rather a recognition of the quality of their services. Beyond the remarkable welcome, the staff always attentive to the needs of the customer, it is necessary to underline the general quality of the accommodation which offers a level of equipment and comfort quite exceptional (bedding in particular) and impeccable cleanliness. In addition, the restaurants offer excellent services with an impressive wine list (...sometimes a little expensive however) and an all-you-can-eat breakfast, copious, varied and of excellent quality. The additional facilities, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam are particularly pleasant (perfect water temperature!)... In conclusion, we can only highly recommend this hotel.

The room was large and very nice, relatively new. The only thing that was annoying was the ventilation noise from the kitchen. The ventilation duct was right next to the room. As long as the kitchen was in use, you couldn't open the window because of the loud noise. The staff weren't particularly friendly, you had the feeling of not being welcome.

Perfect weekend 👌

Unfortunately the website promised more than it delivered - the room was not a JUNIOR SUITE but more of a large attic room! The two different armchairs were worn out and uncomfortable. There was no couch or similar, which is what you should have in a junior suite! There were no towels for the pool - the pool was 31°C and so was the whirlpool - what's the point of that? None!! Bar area - no service in the bar area before or after dinner - if you were lucky you got an aperitif - that happened on the first evening because the reserved table was still occupied at the stated time, then you got an aperitif on the house - on the 2nd evening we would have liked to have another aperitif - but sitting in the bar for 15 minutes without being looked at - you decide against it. Food - very good - tasted perfect! Service needs some coaching again.

I would particularly like to highlight the quality of the restaurant - we went to both the Stubb and the Josephine. Both are excellent! Very attentive service and a great experience. The hotel, with parking spaces in front of the door, is modern and stylishly furnished and all the sights are very easy to reach. (Haute Konigsburg, Colmar etc.). For those with back problems: the beds and pillows are very good!!!

Great experience in your hotel, just two small criticisms, a swimming pool that was much too noisy due to the children who converted it into a municipal swimming pool and a jacuzzi that was too cold. (Ideal temperature 35 degrees and we were far from it) Otherwise a really good stay.

A very nice hotel, good rooms, very clean, good beds, very nice wellness area, the food in the wine house was fantastic, so incredibly delicious. We would love to come back.

Disappointed by the reception staff, not too friendly. I am a tour operator and visited to bring groups in the future. The staff at the reception was not interested at all having groups and didn't really care about my interest. The breakfast team was super friendly and accommodating.

Too bad we can't eat at the hotel restaurant on Monday and Tuesday.

The hotel is located in a very quiet place. The room is not very large, but pleasant, we appreciated the large terrace provided. The cleaning of the room is not very thorough (the area of the glasses and the kettle was very dusty for all 6 days of the stay); the 2 coffee sachets were not supplied regularly. The restaurant is excellent, but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; the menu does not vary.

Friendly, competent staff, very nice and clean hotel with very good food and fine wines. The pool and sauna are well-kept and inviting. Parking is free at the hotel. Overall, good value for money. We would be happy to come back.
