We would have preferred the bigger room 7 that was priced the same

We read ‘fabulous’ reviews about this hotel before we booked so we were really disappointed that the reviews no way lived up to expectations. We were left wondering if we were in the right hotel.
The bedroom was in desperate need of modernisation and there was no air conditioning, essential on a very warm night. While there was a fan in the room, not really effective in such heat, we had to open the windows but the hotel is situated on a main road at traffic lights and as the traffic was consistently noisy throughout the night we got little sleep.
Two other concerns about the room: the little balcony hadn’t been cleaned and was full of cigarette ends, which to no smokers, is pretty disgusting. Secondly we found a dirty sock behind the curtains which leaves you wondering just how well the room had been cleaned.
On a more positive note the dinner was excellent and richly deserved the praise of previous reviews. The maitre d’ was charming and most accommodating to our requests and the other staff were most helpful. The food was excellent, well presented and well cooked.
Unfortunately we cannot say the same about the breakfast, the staff was surly and the food selection was poor.

Welcoming and excellent service in the restaurant for dinner but not so much at breakfast. Food should be covered on the buffet to deter the swarm of flies crawling over everything. The room was very hot although we were in the middle of a heatwave.

Passing through to holiday destination. Neat hotel. Nice, tidy room and a pleasant bathroom. Enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant in the evening. Easily accessible from the highway. Due to circumstances, arrived a day later than initially booked. Was resolved with just one phone call.

Very friendly reception and staff, beautiful room and bathroom. Complimentary bathrobes much appreciated. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was most enjoyable with a good wine selection. Quiet location yet near motorway access.

Very good... slight shortcoming in the food service... could be improved... modern cuisine is fine, but... let's go back to proper, hearty dishes... ribeye steak, flank steak, rib of beef, sweetbreads, andouillette sausage... etc. etc. etc. etc.

We had a pleasant time at this admittedly aging but well-maintained establishment. The staff are professional and the welcome is friendly. The parking lot is easily accessible and shaded.

Excellent performance in a very pleasant setting

Upon our arrival (at the property's parking lot), we were amazed (even blown away!) by the beauty of the building. Regardless of the time of arrival, you receive a warm welcome. The staff quickly adapts to your needs and promptly answers your questions. The hotel and restaurant offer consistently high-quality service, as expected. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. A huge thank you to the staff! An experience to be repeated and highly recommended.

Everything was perfect as usual. Perhaps an area for improvement is the savory breakfast with a more local cheese selection.

We stayed 3 nights, the quality of the rooms is excellent, the price is right, but the service, the welcome and the management are really deplorable. We were insulted by the husband of the owner when we asked for the bill for the dinner we had at the restaurant and unfortunately had it marked on the room bill!! Result: more than €1000 for 3 nights and only one dinner!! Place to avoid..

Beautiful hotel close to the Autoroute so perfect for an overnight stay on the way to the Netherlands. Beautiful classic look and plenty of space to park. The hotel has a beautiful terrace and restaurant where we had a delicious meal. Breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and well taken care of! No air conditioning but a fan and because we were on the quiet side of the hotel we could leave the window open. We will definitely come back.

This is a very nice hotel, in a tranquil setting although only minutes from the motorway. We stayed one night en route to the south in a very comfortable, quiet room.

Satisfied overall, professional and welcoming team. Too bad there were no more bath slippers and that one of the bathrobes was stained as well as a loop that was unstitched. Notwithstanding my remarks, I recommend this establishment for its reliability and quality of service.

Everything was very professional and efficient, we had driven passed this hotel for many years and this was the first time we stayed there. The town was just a short walk away, with a Carrefour shop and filling station just down the road.

Comfortable rooms - love the new decoration and improvements. Dinner and breakfast good. On the route south avoiding motorways. Near to Orleans. Will continue to stay here on our journey through France!

The hotel is very nice and very clean. The park is also very pleasant. I recommend room 8, spacious and bright with a nice bathroom. However, it would be necessary to add a blackout curtain because the only metal shutters currently let in the daylight very early.
